Chapter 4

"Now, Reno, was that the way you expected the mission to go?" Elena asked.

Shera had flown the plane back to the cavern, but Shera herself went back to Rocket Town, paid with some of the stolen money to keep her mouth shut.

"Somewhat," Reno replied bluntly, being the first to walk into the cave. "Hello Tifa."

Tifa was sitting on the floor, head down, almost in a self-conscious state. Reno tapped the side of her head lightly, and her head jerked up.

"I hope the mission was a failure," She said.

"Nope, a complete success," Cloud replied.

Tifa turned her head away saying, "What are you going to do with me?"

"Give you time to realize who you're dealing with," Reno replied. "Now, we are going to Fort Condor right now. With all this money, we will buy the Fort, and then have them go to Nibelheim and take it by siege."

"Right now we're leaving?" Parker asked.

"Yes, right now," Rude replied.

The party was tired, but there would be no fighting involved this time.

"Would it be smart if I stayed here, because Fort Condor knows who I am?" Cait Sith asked.

"That would be wise," Nanaki replied.

"Yes, good thinking Cait Sith," Barret added.

The Turks turned, and went down to Fort Condor, leaving Cait Sith there with Tifa.

"Okay Tifa. I am on my way," Cait Sith said.

"What do you mean?" Tifa asked her friend.

"Remember, I'm a robot. I'm on my way. This is Reeve talking. Remember?" Cait Sith asked.

"Oh my Lord, you're right! Thank you Reeve!" Tifa exclaimed.

Fifteen minutes later, Reno and the rest of the Turks arrived at Fort Condor.

"Hello Jerry," Elena greeted the Commander of Fort Condor.

"The Turks?" Jerry said in surprise.

Jerry wore a bandana, and was a husky man, clean cut for a soldier though.

"We want to buy the Fort," Cloud said.

"Are you guys out of you mind!?" Jerry exclaimed.

"No, we just want to buy the Fort. How does 800,000 Gil sound?" Rude offered.

"800,000!!! Good Lord that's a lot!" Jerry laughed, a smile on his face. "What would you do with the Fort?"

"Use it for our own benefits," Vincent blurted.

"Evil benefits I take it," Jerry smirked. "I couldn't be responsible for letting you guys let Hell loose on this world."

"One million Gil then," Reno offered.

At the Gold Saucer, they had probably stolen somewhere around 3.5 to 4 million Gil.

"You have yourself a deal," Jerry said, shaking Reno's hand.

Reeve walked into the cave, the small control panel he used to control Cait Sith under his arm.

"Reeve!" Tifa cried in happiness. "You're here!"

Reeve nodded and walked over to the chains. Reeve wore a blue suit, and his black hair was always slicked back. Reeve used to be a part of Shinra, but once Shinra fell apart, he was one of the only survivors, along with Don Corneo.

"Where does Reno keep the key?" Reeve asked.

"I have no clue, lift up that panel under the bed next to you though. That's where they keep the weapons, the key might be in there," Tifa replied.

Reeve did as Tifa said, and came from under the bed holding the small shiny key. He unlocked the chains, and helped Tifa up.

"We'll make it look like you escaped by getting yourself up. Go ahead and give Cait Sith a wack," Reeve told Tifa.

Tifa slammed the furry robot in the side of the head. Sparks flew, and Cait Sith toppled backward.

"Marvelous," Reeve commented. "Now let's go to Nibelheim to warn them all of the Turks."

Reeve, taking Tifa by the wrist, ran out of the cavern, to the private plane Reeve owned.

About three hours later, the Turks had had the Fort Condor Troops on the large ship, ready to go to the western continent to attack Nibelheim. It was an eight-hour ride, because they were on the southern end of the eastern continent, and they had to loop around the western continent to get to Nibelheim.

Tifa and Reeve had the peacekeepers in position. The townspeople were all evacuated to Mt. Nibel, at the Mako Reactor. Four hours had passed.

The peacekeepers were starting to let their guard down. Nobody had came for nearly eight hours, and they were losing the idea that anybody ever would come, but that's when the Fort and The Turks attacked.

Fort Condor, being the huge army that it is, marched right into Nibelheim.

"What's this!!!" Reno yelled. "They were ready for the attack! What the hell is going on!?"

Fort Condor ran into battle against the Peacekeepers. They only fought in the town square, so there was barely any room for movement.

Vincent took note of the mansion, still intact. Nibelheim must have put the fire out in the basement.

The Turks stuck together and ran to the Mountain, to see if there was anything going on up there.

The Turks made their way through the soldiers, no matter how hard it was, and they were always watching their backs for an attack from a peacekeeper. They made it to the mountain though, and they saw all the townspeople gathered outside.

"Vincent, if you wouldn't mind doing your little transformation right now, it would be very helpful," Reno instructed.

Vincent went through the same cycle he did in the Shinra Mansion, and he was fully transformed. The townspeople gawked at the monstrosity, and they cried out for mercy.

Vincent extended his hands, and he let out a large flash of light from his hands. It ran through the crowd, and people screamed out. Soon, they were all dead. Reno was in awe at the power of what Hojo had done to Vincent.

Tifa and Reeve came up behind the Turks very quietly, so the Turks wouldn't hear them.

"Reeve, quickly, leave and go to The Wall Market in Midgar to get Don Corneo, and go keep Barret's daughter, Marlene, hostage over on the west side of the market," Tifa instructed. "Thank you very much, but now, It's my turn to go fight."

Reeve nodded, and snuck out of Nibelheim unnoticed.

"Reno!" Tifa shouted.

The Turks turned around to see Tifa standing there, all equipped with her weapon, the Platinum Heart Glove, and her steel-toe boots.

"Let me fight her," Elena said to Reno. "Glove versus Glove, Woman versus Woman."

Reno nodded at the idea.

"I will fight you! Not Reno!" Elena yelled to Tifa.

The two girls ran to each other, and immediately engaged in combat. Tifa did a roundhouse kick, and Elena nearly dodged it. Elena thrusted her fist upward, and uppercut Tifa.

Tifa backed away, and then faster than Elena could tell, she whipped her fist forward, and slammed Elena right in the forehead. Elena went flying backward, stars in front of her eyes.

"I'm amazed she escaped," Reno said to Cloud.

"You knew it would happen though," Cloud replied.

"Of course."

Tifa picked Elena up, and kicked her in the gut. Elena reared backward in pain, but then dove forward and brought Tifa to the ground. Elena dug her thumbs into Tifa's neck, at the throat. Tifa's eyes widened as she tried to fight back.

Tifa started to dig her elbow into Elena's eye, but Elena just pressed in harder. Soon, Tifa lost consciousness, and her head dropped to the ground. With Tifa out like a light, Elena cracked her neck to the side, and left the body there.

"Good fight Elena," Rude congratulated.

"Yes, very good," Katrina said.

A soldier ran up from the town yelling to Reno, "We won! We won!"

A smile cracked on Reno's face, and he let out a laugh. Everything was going perfectly…
