Disclaimer: I own nothing of Moulin Rouge or anything to do with it. I want to own Ewan Mcgregor *giggle*

A/N: Yet another sad poem. I wrote it about the first scene in which you see Christian crying and typing.

Invisible Dreams

The street bells keep ringing

The church choir keeps singing

But no one will make me forget you

Your memory haunts me

With sweet dreams I can't see

And I just hope I get through

One night with you lacking

My knuckles keep cracking

Wishing our story was written

I try to remember

They slow burning embers

That burned the day I was smitten

The sparkle the shine

The fact I knew you were mine

Or that we were each other's it's true

I can't keep typing like crazy

And know you aren't with me

Though your smile will always shine through

The tears just keeping coming

Our song I keep humming

And know you won't sing it again

So each night I remember

Our love that was severed

And give an attempt to stay sane
