The sun reached high noon, scorching everything in sight. "Heh...have fun Laguna?" Gene uttered. "What are you talking about Gene?" Lag giving him a blank stare. "The 'Ohh...harder Lag..'. Yah...back at the hot springs?" Lag chuckled "Ah that? You meant this?" Lag took his hand and massaged Aishas back as she moaned a bit. "Oh....I was gonna brag on you or something..." Gene coughed, "God this sucks...it must be a hundred out here." "It's the desert, get used to it." Jim responded annoyingly from the back of the wagon. "Well...as long as we have water, then nothing else matters." A splash of water hit Gene in the back, followed by a long stream, "Ah..shit" Gene turned around to see the barrel that was holding the water cracked open, "What did you do this time Gil?" "He has done absolutely nothing, Gene. I have came here for the one named Melfina." Lag and Gene turned their attention to the woman in a long scarf. "And who the hell are you?" Gene snapped back. Lag jabbed Gene in the side, "Shut up, this isnt good." "I'd better listen to your friend, for you don't know who I am." She then pulled out a long metal blade from her cloak, "I am the Desert Assassin, Suzuka." She then ran towards the wagon in an instant and thrust her sword in an upward position, bringing it down the center of the wagon. It stood still for a second and it collapsed in half. Jim jumped out, pulling his gun out while Mel carried the sleeping Hanmyo out next to Gil. "HOLY SHIT" Gene blurted out. "Will you ever stop shouting?" Lag pulled out his revolver and began to fire off rounds at Suzuka. She merely knocked toe bullets aside with her sword. Lag tossed the gun aside and jumped down from his horse. He then pulls out a lead pipe from one of the sacks and ran over to the deadly assassin. "Pretty funny, though it wont do you any good." Suzuka muttered aloud. "Heh...if guns wont work, I guess I can fight fire with fire, sort to speak." He then slammed the pipe against her sword, Suzuka took her sword and spun the pipe around, slamming it into the ground. Lag counters it by pulling the pipe out and over her, shoving to the side. "Will you get everyone out of here Gene?" Gene shook his head and took Jim and Hanmyo onto his horse, while Mel tagged along with Gil. "What are you doing here Aisha?" Lag demanded. "Ah...cant I just help?" Lag sighed, "Do something then" Aisha grabbed the top to one of the barrels and flung it at Suzuka in a Captain America fashion. Suzuka jumped out and disappeared out of nowhere. "Ah crap, and I was so close." Aisha muttered. Lag shook his head, "No..she wasnt after us, shes after Melfina..remember?"

"I think we are far enough from the battle, do you agree?" Gene scanned the surroundings. "Of course we are, how can she get here within the distance that we traveled." Jim shruged. "It is possible little one." Gene pulled out his revolver in an instant. "I don't think thats a wise decision my friend." Suzuka warned, holding her sword in a stance. She then pulled out some pin needles and threw them in an instant at Gil, Jim, Hanmyo, and Gene; knocking them out in an instant. "What do you want from me?" Mel questioned. "I'm not the one you should be asking that question." Suzuka abruptly took her and jumped onto one of the horses and made a quick getaway from the scene.

Later that afternoon. Gene managed to get up slowly and was wide awaken by a splash of water to the face. "So...you let her get taken away, good job Gene." Lag said out loud in an annoying fashion. "Well....give the guy credit, he was knocked out by one of the best assassins around." Aisha said. Off somewhere in the desert, Suzuka tied the horse against a cactus and shoved Mel to the ground. Mel looked around the place, not sure where she is. Suzuka threw some pieces of lumber on the ground and started a fire by scrapping the side of the sword against some flint rocks. "So, why are you taking me?" Mel asked. Suzuka sheathed her sword, "Because, its my job, I was sent to capture you, its simple as that." Mel dusted her dress off, "Who sent you?" Suzuka groaned in annoyance, "Why must you ask questions?" "Well?" "Someone by the name of Harry McDougal." Mel couldn't believe it. "I thought...he was dead." "Hmph...well, it doesnt seem so," Suzuka muttered, then she continued on, "and he is with a man named Hazanko, he said something about some project but I didnt ask, it wasnt any of my business. All I had to do was get you."

"So, whats the plan Gene?" Jim asked while loading his revolver. "I don't know, all we have to do is find her and get her back, its just as simple as that." "No it isnt," Lag butted in, "We are dealing with Suzuka, remember what happened last time?" Gene rubbed his arm where the tranq hit him, "So...that was pretty much the first time." "And it couldve been our last if she wasnt only just getting Mel. We need some kind of plan." Jim holstered the gun into his belt. "I can always find her" Aisha blurted out. "And how would you do this?" Lag asked. "It's a very simple technique that my tribe uses" Aisha showing off a bit. "Ok....we can give it a shot," Lag responded, "right now though, we gotta regroup and get going." Gene muttered, "Since when youre the supposed leader of this thing?" "Now what?" Lag asked in a calm voice. "While youre here 'strategizing' Mel is off somewhere." "Im glad you are aware of that." Lag said sarcastically. "Grr...Im going already, Im not just gonna stand around while God knows what is happening out there" Gene jumped onto his horse and rode off. Jim shook his head, "He is always like this, ah well, we'd better make our move before he gets himself hurt." "Oh well, any last words people?" Lag shoved the Remington into a case. "Lets go get those two" Aisha hollering out, stealing the thunder from Jim.

Finally, I got chapter seven up. Like it?
