NOT TONIGHT, NOT EVER

I watched her as she tossed and turned in her bed. She keep looking to the door, waiting for me. It

would be a long wait, I wouldn't come. She caught glimpse of my note. Read it she did and whispered

to herself. A joke, a joke, a joke, a prank, prank, prank, p...r..a..n...k- -. As she fell asleep I thought I

was free of her. But those baby blue eyes shot open at my absence. "Heero, Heero come back to

bed." She has found me. I run out the door and down the hall. Coming out of her room in her light

pink robe she called me again. "Heero, don't play this again. I'm tired." Everyone was sleeping. My

chance had come. I jotted out of the corner and stopped her. I grabbed her hand, making it impossible

to escape. I threw my hand as far back as I could and released it hitting her cheek. "Why, Hee-koi?"

Giving her my glare I gave her a response she wasn't expecting. "First, my name is Heero. Not Hee-

chan, Hee-koi, or anything else you may nickname me. I call it an insult to be called a nickname from

someone I don't love."

"I don't quite understand Heero."

"I never loved you. Of course you're so caught up in everything you wouldn't return love to me even if I

ever did. Goodbye, Relena."

And with that I left her there. On her knees, crying as I went out the front door to my true soul mate's

convertible. "So, you did it?"

"Yes, Duo-koi."

So we drove to a parking lot and had a good time in the back seat. Mission accomplished.
