"Clark."

"Lex."

"I know."

"You do?"

"Yeah, I know. So you can stop with all the secrets and lies. You can stop hurting to tell me what you know and agonizing over keeping our friendship verses keeping your secret. I know. I spent a few thousand dollars on a few dozen people and they told me everything."

"Everything?"

"Everything. From what color socks you're wearing right now to what your favorite ice cream to the magazines you keep hidden under your bed. Track and Field? Really Clark, get some testosterone."

"How?"

"I told you. I'm very rich Clark. And what's more, I'm very determined. So I threw money at it and like every good mob of experts hired for a private enterprise like this, they all kept their mouths shut and didn't talk to one another. I boiled the truth down. It wasn't hard Clark."

"Are you mad?"

"Nah, we're friends. I just wanted to let you know that I know and everything was a okay."

"Whew! Lex! I was so worried that when you found out you would be mad. But I have to keep my secret to protect myself, y'know? It's nothing about you. It's all about me. I mean, how do people normally react when you're an alien orphaned on earth with supernatural strength and nigh invulnerability? I mean it's crazy! I can see through walls, get shot by bullets..."

"Holy shit! You're an alien?"

"..."

"Wow, I just thought you were really strong or those meteor rocks had done something to your system like everyone else in town. Shit. An alien?"

"You said you knew! You told me-"

"I was lying. I just wanted to see if I could trick you into telling me what you are. I can't believe that worked."

"What? What about the teams of experts and the money throwing?"

"Eh, those guys couldn't find their asses with both hands."

"I can't believe you did that to me! I thought we were friends!"

"I can't believe you're an alien."

"My dad was right. You are evil."

"Whatcha gonna do about it Clark? Give me an anal probe?"

"Shut up, Lex."

"No, seriously, Clark... We're still friends."

"Shut up."

End.
