This, for now, is just a brief introduction to "I Love You, Spider- man" written by, me, Evie! Anyway, here goes . . .

Peter was walking away from me. I couldn't believe it. Shock, disbelief, and terrible shame filled me as I stood there, alone. I couldn't watch him go. Then, with a force harder than any punch could have given, it hit me. God, how could I have been so blind? His pain, his loss, everything. It all pointed to it. He was different now, a new person than I'd known since kindergarten. It wasn't a bad difference, but . . . Oh my God . . . I can't believe it. Sweet, kind Peter Parker? I couldn't make myself believe it. But, all the signs were there. I brushed the single tear off my cheek and turned to face him. He walked with such confidence, he wasn't anything like the poor, abused little nerd he was in high school. I barely recognized him. I watched him walk away with pain, fear, sadness, and love - a love for the old Peter, a love for the new Peter - filled me inside. I held my head up a bit, and whispered only to myself, "I love you, Spider-man."

I couldn't do it. Not to her. It would be . . . too dangerous. Without the Green Goblin, no one knew. I was too hurt by Harry's words and too much in love with her to really feel anything. Remorse, joy, fear, and love cancelled each other out as I walked away from everything I'd ever wanted in my entire life. She loved me. She was in love with me. No one must ever know. It would be best if she could never feel like that. But, in my selfish core, I don't want that. I want with all my heart to let her know that I love her, too, and I always have. But I can't. I don't cry. I can't cry. I have cried all I have to give in the past few days, and I have nothing left. But Spider-man must remain forever. I can never back out.

Yeah, that's the intro. I'll come up with more in a little bit. I'm sorry it's so short. It's just an introduction. Lots of love to my "devoted fans." Hahaha, I don't have any! That's okay.

PS - Tobey Maguire is the HOTTEST superhero since, Chris O'Donnell, and he was a sidekick!
