Irvine's Song by Trista

( I do not claim the characters in this poem. This includes Selphie and Irvine.)

With curls her hair

And the stars shining above

All I can remember is how she looked at me.

With those eyes full of hope

And her smile miles wide

And yet so close to me.

I just can't forget

How beautiful the sky turns

Everytime she walks beneath it.

I wonder now,

What can I do for her

So that she'll see me.

I know I'm not like this

Falling head over heels for her

I don't just focus like this to one.

But she must be an exception

Because for once

I feel like being there for her, and her alone.

I won't let her go

I won't let her go

I will keep on trying.

Until she sees that I can love only one

That I am not just a pretty face

And a talented eye.

Now this is what I will remember,

The way she always kept a smile on

Even when the wind wasn't blowing with us.

Finally, after so long

She sees me

And I see her

Together we'll be

From here till the end

We won't let each other go.
