owning Digimon.
A/N – Hey! I'm bored again and you know what that means. New fic! This is called Bored, but it's not going to bore you. At least, I hope not. It's extremely short, but I don't care. It kept me occupied.

"Hi, Tai, is Kari home?" Yolei Inoue asked hopefully.
"No, but she'll be home soon. Come one in. You can be bored with me while you wait."
Yolei snickered at Kari's older brother. "Okay, Tai. Fine."
Tai let her in and threw himself on the well-worn couch. He channel- surfed for a few seconds before shutting the television and turning to Yolei. "So, what's new with you?"
Yolei laughed. "Nothing. Kari and I were supposed to go to the mall today, but she's always gone nowadsays."
"With that smart-mouth little boyfriend of hers," Tai added, cracking a grin that made Yolei laugh again.
"Oh, Tai, TK's not that bad." They both began giggling. Yolei had noticed, recently, that she was laughing a lot more in Tai's presence than ever.
"Wanna go play soccer?" Tai asked, throwing the remote into the couch.
"What about Kari?"
"Oh, yeah."
"Wanna play truth or dare?"
"Yeah!" Tai sat up a little straighter, suddenly really excited.
"You can go first."
"Truth or dare, Yolei?"
"Uh, truth."
Tai snickered. "Prude. Fine, then." He grinned maliciously. "How do you feel about me?"
Yolei was taken aback. "You're okay and a good leader and a pretty good older brother to Kari."
Tai sighed. "Let me rephrase that. Do you like me?"
"Well, I, uh, I mean, I guess what I'm trying to say is, I, uh, well, I… yes." By the time she managed to get that word out, her voice was merely a squeak.
"Oh." Tai was quiet. Then he surprised both of them by leaning in to kiss her. Yolei's body trembled. When they parted, she touched her lips cautiously.
"Oh, brother," a voice commented from the doorway. "I leave you guys alone for five minutes and you're kissing." It was Kari.
"It's your own fault," Tai retorted.
Kari just sighed.
A/N – Short, sweet, choppy, and to the point. I wanna get it up before class ends. §Lata§ -- hW
