Destruction

Chapter 6

The large man with beady black eyes known as Yajarobi slowly pulled himself out of the rock he was embedded in, mindful of his slight injuries. Wondering where he was and how he had managed to get there, Yajarobi sat himself down gently, pondering. His chubby face suddenly turned to his left, laughter being heard slightly by his ears. He stood and unsheathed his sword, thankful that he had not lost it somewhere during his wild ride. Yajarobi causiously creepted up on his enemies, not knowing who the laughing belonged to, not caring either as long as he got the drop on them. He was a sneaky person, very quiet for someone of his size and nature. He was able to sneak up on many people, and very often has, he was even able to sneak up on Vegeta and cut off his tail when he had first come to Earth, and Saiyan's had excellent hearing. Yajarobi shivered slightly as he took a small trip down memory lane, he was still scared of the Saiyan Prince, with good reason too. Without realizing it, Yajarobi was just behind a group of laughing people, friend or foe, he still couldn't tell.

'This is your moment of greatness, Yaj my man! Just jump over this rock and attack whoever's there.' He thought as he gripped the handle of his sword tighter with his fat hand, creating a small, very quiet creak, not even head by Yajarobi himself.

Piccolo didn't see what was so funny. He was almost as disgusted as Vegeta...almost! The Namek was glad that he didn't have a tail, let alone one that some brat was sucking on. He had to admitt it though, the look on the Saiyan Prince's face was priceless and managed to bring a small smile to his green lips. Piccolo was about to address the fact that they should start searching for the other 2 Androids, when a small creaking sound made a tight frown appear on his lips. Vegeta heard it to, and as he and Piccolo exchanged glances and frowns, the rest of the groups immediately became silent.

"What is it?" Gohan asked quietly, glancing from Vegeta to Piccolo.

"Is it those other Androids?" Krillin was almost shaking with fear, he definately didn't want to mess with more Androids, especially without Goku. Trunks unsheathed his sword and looked at his father, as the Saiyan Prince returned baby Trunks to his mother. The young half-breed Saiyan from the future looked at Piccolo, the Namek pointing to the large boulder behind Bulma. As Bulma moved and stood behind Vegeta, hoping that the arrogant Saiyan would protect her if there was trouble, Trunks raised his sword high and swiftly brought it down on the boulder. The solid rock was cut so neatly and precisely, that one would think it was made out of jello. When the two halves fell to the side, a fat man holding a katana, ready to strike was revealed, though his startled features betrayed him.

"Yajarobi!" Krillin shouted as the heavy set man just stood there in shock and amazement. Piccolo merely ignored him and turned his attention back to the others.

"We need to figure out what to do next."

"Isn't it obvious?!" Vegeta suddenly shouted, clearly becoming bored and annoyed, "We must fine these Androids, and crush them!"

"It won't be that easy, Vegeta!" Trunks resheathed his sword as he frowned in his father's direction, "These Androids, 17 and 18, are like nothing you've ever faced before! In my time, they killed every one of you!"

Shocked features looked at Trunks in disbelief, except for Vegeta. The Saiyan Prince merely smirked.

"I doubt that will happen in this time. Have you losers forgotten that I'm now a Super Saiyan AND more powerful than Kakarot."

Trunks glared at his father, not believing that he was actually THIS arrogant and full of himself. He looked away from Vegeta, annoyed with him, though spoke very calmly. "In my time...you were a Super Saiyan."

Vegeta was shocked though quickly covered it up with a smirk and a "hmph."

"This time...it'll be different." Vegeta's voice held so much rage that he acutally sounded calm. He turned from the group, thinking that he's wasted enough of his precious time with those cowards. Future Trunks merely sighed and crossed his arms over his chest, imitating his father's famous stance, while Bulma looked at every with concerned features. Everybody suddenly looked downhearted, even Yajarobi, though he didn't really care about the situation. The one thing that broke them out of their trances, was Piccolo's deep voice.

"Vegeta's right, it will be different this time. We've been preparing for this for 3 years."

"Uh...say, have you seen these Androids? I mean, can you describe them for us?"

"Sure, Krillin." Trunks' features turned cold as he thought back to his past...and the Androids, "One of them was designed as a beautiful young owman with short blond hair, while the other is a young man with long black hair. Both of them had cold, careless blue eyes...yes...its those eyes that will always haunt me."

Krillin shivered lightly, never wanting to look into those eyes.

"Well." Gohan said, sounding slightly happier about the situation, "At least since we know what they look like, they can't get the drop on us."

"And don't forget about Goku." Bulma said as she gently rocked baby Trunks in her arms.

"Yeah, that's right." Future Trunks' features immediately brightened, "We have Goku. All we have to do is wait for Goku to recover. Yeah, then we might stand a chance."

"I am not waiting for Kakarot!" Vegeta was mad before, but now he was pissed, "I am way stronger than that sorry excuse for a Saiyan! If you want to sit around and wait for Kakarot, so be it! But I will find those Androids by myself and crush them with my bare hands!" Before anyone could say anything or even try to stop the outraged Prince, a bright gold lightly suddenly encased Vegeta's body as he went Super Saiyan, his midnight hair and eyes turned golden yellow and emerald green as his brown tail turned yellow. Then, he was gone. Trunks glared after his father, about to launch himself into the air after Vegeta, when Piccolo spoke, staying him.

"Leave him!"

Trunks turned around and looked at Piccolo in question. The Namek warrior only stared after Vegeta, though soon turned and faced Trunks, a frown upon his lips, "He needs to be alone."

"But..." Trunks tried to interrupt.

"Listen! Every since Vegeta became a Super Saiyan, his ego has been out of controll. Once he finds the Androids and they beat him senseless, he'll learn that he's not all powerful and invisible. Maybe then he'll learn that we need Goku, that we need to work together." Piccolo just stared at Trunks, hopin he understood and would see things the Namek's way, but the future half-breed was too stubborn, like his father.

"How could you suggest that I just let him go fight the Androids by himself? Well, I won't, Piccolo, I won't!" Trunks powered up slightly though not going Super. His anger fueled him enough to get him to Vegeta, "I am not going to let my father die!" With that, he was gone. Everybody looked after him, watching him leave, shocked at what he said before he left. Fortunately it was Bulma who asked what was on everybody's minds.

"Father?" She said in disbelief, "What did he mean?"

Piccolo looked to Bulma, not smirking, not frowning. A look of calmness spread across his green features, "Bulma, I think there's something you should know..."
