Disclaimer: I own nothing to do or associated with The Lord of the Rings. Only in my wildest dreams.
A/N: This poem is slightly odd. Or at least it does not fit in with my other poems. Think of my poem this way, when he's in free verse Boromir is daydreaming, and when its in rhyme he's screaming at himself!=) -Melanie
Such A Little Thing
A little voice
Whispers nothings in my head
Nothings that make me die inside
Thought of hope, thoughts of peace
Thoughts of a never ending light
The banners will always shine says she
Who whispers in my writhing brain
If I can only receive the ring
I can stop the pain!
But no, that isn't right says she
Who whispers nothing in my head
She talks of ways to find the king
To take him where he should be lead
To have the love I so desperately need
From the steward I never knew
To have my name be called again
Amongst the trailing skies so blue
That's all I have to live for
Get back there
Back to my happiness
The silver towers
The strengthened walls
Who shelter my feeble soul
But....
The little voice who speaks to me
In my fitful dreams
Says that strength is still abound
And that hope runs with the stream.

*In my opinion, faith in humanity is the most forgotten virtue*
I live, I love, and I never forget.
