Harry Potter and the Box of Kleenex
By: Adelaide
He was all alone. There was no one there beside him. He sat there, as the boy who lived, that we'd rather not die, on the red, soft, oriental carpet in his dormitory. Across the room from him, was a box of tissues- Kleenex tissues, to be exact- that sat poised on the rug, as if calling him.
"HAAAAAAARRRRRRRRY!" It beckoned.
Harry remained seated on the rug, wondering why he was sitting across the room from a box of tissues that could have been calling to him. If he really wanted to be the great wizard he was, he would talk to it. Or try to find some sort of communicational means to the Kleenex. But, NOOO, not today. Today, Mr. Potter was feeling lazy, and decided not to listen to his wizardly instincts.
"Harry! There you are!" shouted Ron Weasley, his good friend, from the top of the staircase. "I've looked everywhere for you! What precisely have you been doing all this time?"
"I've been staring at this box of tissues. It's quite odd, isn't it?" Harry responded.
"How can a box of hankies be odd?"
"I'm not exactly sure, but it's been calling me all morning."
"Really, now?"
"Yes."
Ron walked over to Harry and descended to the floor. They both sat there, mesmerized at the box and the soft, cushiony, objects inside. For one hour. Just as the clock struck 11:00 AM, Hermione walked into the lobby room where the dumbstruck duo were hypnotically glaring at the handkerchiefs, and glanced at the boys for an instant.
"What in the bloody universe is going on here?" she queried.
"We're looking at this box of Kleenex. It's quite strange, don't you think?" replied Ron, not moving his gaze from the tissues.
"Interesting," Hermione observed as she sat down to join them.
The Three Musketeers remained there, doing the same thing: SITTING AND STARING AT THE BOX OF KLEENEX. What will happen next? Tune in some other time when I post the sequel to: HARRY POTTER AND THE BOX OF KLEENEX.
***I was bored, and I decided to write something. No offense to HP, I like him and the characters he's with, but I needed to write something funny, and this came to mind. Thank you. ***Please read and review and tell me whether or not you enjoyed this humorous piece. If so, give suggestions as to what I should include in the next chapter!
