Chapter Two – Thoughts

As Harry slumped onto his camp bed, Ron burst through the door.
"Harry, you know I didn't mean it. It's just…Well…Since that whole thing happened…You haven't been the same, you know?"
Hermione, who was sitting Ron's bed reading, stood up.
"I think I should leave you two alone," she said, and sauntered out of the door, slamming it behind her.
There was silence as the slam rang in their ears.
"I'm really, really, sorry. I shouldn't have said that," Ron said meekly, breaking the quiet.
Harry nodded silently.
After a few minutes, with the only noise coming from the ghoul in the attic, Harry replied.
"'S'ok…Besides, I know you didn't mean anything by it." He smiled.
"So, what do you wanna do? It looks like the rains stopping…" Ron said gazing hopefully out of the window. "There's only a week left before term starts. Maybe we could all go down to Diagon Alley?"
"Sure. Why not?" Harry said, getting up off of his bed and opening the door.
"Ginny! I'll kill you!" Ron roared.
Harry looked down at Ron's younger, and only, sister who he suspected had been listening in on their conversation.
He sidestepped to safety as Ron flung himself towards her, and smiled as he chased her all over The Burrow.
