Draco Malfoy stormed down the halls to the Slytherin entrance fuming. He was so angry he nearly yelled the password but caught himself just in time. The nerve of that Potter, refusing his help, for that had all he had been offering, help. His family had raised him to be helpful, and with thier influence he had noticed when Harry needed help, and he had offered it. He slumped into a recliner by the fire to plot revenge.
Draco wasn't sure the type of revenge to unleash upon Harry, only that he wanted Harry to regret turning his offer down. He couldn't curse him, because first years weren't supposed to know any curses and his knowledge could get his family into ALOT of trouble.
Somehow he had to make Harry pay...
He was still racking his brains when Crabbe and Goyle entered the room. Crabbe sat down on another recliner to read, or rather to look at the pictures of, a comic book. Goyle, however, focussed all his attention on Malfoy.
"Eh, Draco." Goyle said. "Wotcher doin'?"
"I'm thinking." Malfoy replied. "A concept I really can't expect you to understand."
"Oh." Goyle didn't seem to notice the insult. "Wotcher thinkin' bout?"
"That up-himself Harry Potter." Malfoy said. "What is his problem anyway?"
"Yeah," Goyle said. "You was only helping him."
"I know, I mean. Look at Weasley. He's POOR." Malfoy shuddered. "What kind of company is that for the 'Boy who lived'?"
"Uh..." Goyle tryed to answer the rhetorical question. "Poor company?"
"Goyle..." Malfoy said. "It amazes me, but your answer actually makes sense."
At this point Crabbe surfaced from the comic book he was struggling to understand.
"You could get him in trouble." He said.
"No..." Malfoy reflected. "There's nothing he could do wrong... that pathetic muggle-raised excuse for a wizard probably doesn't even know what a wizards duel is."
Malfoy trailed off when he realized what he had come across.
"Thats it!" He cried. "I'll challenge him to a wizards duel."
"Huh?" Crabbe and Goyle grunted in unison. "What's so great bout that?"
"Well if I'm right and he doesn't know about wizards duels that stupid POOR Weasley will stand up for him." Malfoy Replied. "Then I can get both of them back at the same time."
"Cor, Malfoy that's real smart." Said Goyle.
"I know." Said Malfoy. "That's why I'm the leader, and you two follow."
"Hurr hurr." Crabbe laughed. "Potter'll get wot coming to him..."
"He's got alot more coming to him than that, according to that bitch, Trelawney, and all I have to do is challenge him to a wizard's duel to be had at midnight..." Said Malfoy. "And then... just tip off a teacher."
Crabbe laughed again and returned to his comic book but Goyle was not convinced.
"So then what?" He asked.
"He get's in trouble, and I am thanked by the teachers for being concerned for my fellow students... enough to tell on them." Malfoy explained as he got up."
"Oh." Goyle found his question answered and he took Malfoys place by the fire and picked up a comic book.
"Happy.... Reading..." Malfoy muttered as he climbed the stairs to the dormitory and went to bed, pleased with his perfect idea.
