Zadavia pressed her hand against the cold glass as she gazed out at the endless blue that stretched before her. A constant mellow hum filled the confines of the metallic space. The natural melody offered her little comfort as a flood of worries crashed around in her mind. The sound of creaking walls joined the chorus every so often. A sound she'd grown accustomed to after weeks of hiding in the deeps. Her concerns were not for the integrity of the building. Much weightier matters plagued her. "This is foolishness." She thought, glazing her hand across the cold surface. "Click, click, click." A sharp noise interrupted her thoughts.

What do you have to report, 'General Deuce'? She asked, without turning to address the source of the sound."I'm afraid it isn't good 'my queen." The young, red-haired man answered in a serious tone.

"What is the problem then, 'Deuce'?" Has he found me? "Zadavia said as she faced him with a look that was more of anger than fear.

No, my Queen, it isn't that. I'm confident that he has no clue that you are on this planet. I would even go so far as to say that he has no idea this backward planet even exists. " The young general said, dripping with confidence. One of his quirks that Zadavia had always found 'vexing. But, she could not deny it was well-founded. Deuce had not become a general at his young age through pure dumb luck but through sheer raw talent.

"What is it then?"

It's the Renraw containment chamber, your highness. I'm afraid that we can't keep powering it much longer.

Zadavia looked at him with disbelief. Tell me, why is that? From what my science officer told me, I thought we had found a suitable power supply from the 'earth people."

"The earthling's Viridiallum has been working, but please listen, my Queen, it isn't stable. It's been fluctuating. It even seems to be messing up the controls. " Zadavia was still doubtful and asked him yet another question.

"Why isn't my science officer reporting this instead of you?"

"She was scared to approach you about it," I told her she should do it herself, but that is beyond the point. Zadavia, you must choose which of my men you wish to bestow the Renraw Spectrum upon. We are running out of time. "Your people are running out of time.

Take me to the containment chamber. I want to see it for myself. I will not make any decisions blinded by fear. " Zadavia's voice was commanding and stern, as it usually was, but only with more seriousness.

"I thought you would." General Deuce said, gesturing for her to follow him.

They walked through several security doors before they came to a room filled with scrapped spaceship parts and several broken earth gadgets.

Oh, Queen Zadavia! You're here. I'm happy to say that your ship is coming along very nicely. Even having to use these inferior parts for it. Oh' um, do you want to see it? " "A middle-aged woman said as she hopped over piles of junk to see her queen."

Dellmay, I want to see the Renraw Spectrum chamber. Now! " Zadavia raised her voice to the blue and yellow-haired scientist. Dellmay's face went paler blue as she fell over into the pile of parts, stunned by her Queen's tone.

"Yes, right away, your majesty." She scrambled to get on her feet. "I told you she would be angry," Deuce whispered as he helped her to her feet.

I'm so sorry, your highness. I should have told you, but I thought I could stabilize it. Of course, I know I can still do it. "

Enough of this yapping. Just show me what's wrong. " Zadavia snapped.

"Yes, right away. Aivadaz! Bring up chamber diagnostics, please. " Dellmay ordered the computer's AI.

"Bringing up the diagnostics now." I see Queen Zadavia is here. Do you wish to take control, Zadavia? " The AI asked.

"Yes, Aivadaz, I would." She glared angrily at Deuce and Dellmay, who turned away in shame.

"Switching control of the chamber to Queen Zadavia now." Dellmay stared down at her feet. "I hope one day you can forgive me..." Zadavia, She said' fighting her tears back. I'm...Dellmay began but was stopped by a finger to her lips. "Aivadaz needs to hear her." The general whispered in her ear. That's correct. I'm sorry, Deuce. " She whispered back.

"Aivadaz, "show me what is going on with the chamber." Zadavia ordered sternly.

...

"Aivadaz! I said, Show me what is going on with the chamber!" Zadavia yelled when the AI didn't respond to her. "Dellmay, what is wrong with this thing?" Zadavia turned to the scientist, but she was gone. "Where is Del...

"You have an incoming call from Optimatus." The AI abruptly interrupted

"What the beam! Impossible! " General Deuce was shocked.

"Block and trace that call now, Aivadaz!" Zadavia cried, but it was too late. A hologram of a maniacally laughing giant man appeared in the room.

"Did you really think you could hide from me?" Optimus snickered' His face took Zadavia by surprise. It was almost unrecognizable. Half of his face was blacked out by a horrendous burn scar with a glowing red robotic eye. Zadavia fell over in shock of it.

Deuce called out to his men to come on his communicator. They stormed the room in seconds. "Oh good, you called in my men, Deuce." Optimatus mocked them. "They were once, but now they are mine," Deuce said, striking the hologram with his sword.

The hologram burst out laughing. "Oh dear boy, they still are." Optimatus hissed. Zadavia then felt the cold end of several blades and blasters from her guards pressed against her.

"How could you?" Zadavia cried.

Worry not, your highness; I can clear out these traders in a flash! Deuce yelled as he began to fight his way through the soldiers.

"Deuce stop! They are probably mind-controlled! " Zadavia screamed. As Deuce blew over them,

Retreat! Dellmay will show you where to go. Optimatus ordered. The men followed and began to flee.

"Dellmay, I should have known." Zadavia said, getting up. "Deuce rushed to stop one of the men to capture him for interrogation." The second he stepped out, the door slammed shut and locked him out.

Now that that's out of the way, it's time to get to what I really came for. The Renraw Spectrum. " Optimatus sneered as Zadavia rushed to the door and beat on it. "You see, Dellmay already has control over all the chambers, but we still need your voice to release them to the men of my choice." Optimatus said, pointing an overgrown fingernail at her.

Zadavia yelled with anger. Then the chamber opened, exposing several glowing orbs in see-through containers.

"The chamber is ready to distribute Renraw Spectrum. Please select your candidates now, Queen Zadavia. " The AI's voice echoed.

Now Zadavia, you will tell that bot what I want. Or I shall destroy not only you but this entire planet. " Optimatus said darkly.

"You're a lunatic!" Zadavia cried, backing away from the hologram.

"Loonatics selected." The AI voice chimed in.

"What!" They both screamed.

"No matches were found in your database. "Switching to Earth's database now," Aivadaz informed

Stop her now! Optimatus cried.

"Aivadaz, stop searching now!" Zadavia yelled desperately, but no yelling from either one could stop it. Aivadaz continued unfazed.

"Matches have been found. "Sending out Renraw Spectrum to subjects now," Aivadaz said before a popping and hissing noise was heard from the chamber.

"Nooo!" They both exclaimed as bright colored orbs shot out of the room through the thick metal walls. There was silence for a second, then Optimatus exploded with fury. "Because of you, this planet is doomed!" Then the hologram disappeared. Zadavia sank to the floor in despair.

After several desperate minutes, Zadavia was able to force the doors open with the help of her General on the other side.

"What went on in there? " He asked, bending down next to her.

"We have to stop him!" Zadavia said, gathering her strength. "That mad man will wipe us all out if I don't do something." She rushed out of the room' determined to save the planet from whatever doom Optimatus had in store for them.

"Renraw Spectrum has been successfully delivered." Aivadaz's voice echoed in the empty chamber.

I put a lot of work into this re-imaging of WB's Loonatics unleashed. Lots of research went into world-building. I'm not a sports person myself 'so if things don't make sense in the sports bits that's why. I did try. I put a lot of time into researching that.
Sorry if this part was a bit boring. Part 2 is going to be way more exciting I promise.
If any of you have read Loonatics of Acmetropuls, prefix you can skip to chapter one' but I have made some little changes to it.
