"HEALTH KICK! HEALTH KICK! "DIGEST THAT JOBBER ALL READY!" The fans screamed with anger from around the ring.

"Ugh, freaky weirdos." Gabrielle snarled, looking out at the crowd dressed in fan attire with faces all painted. Gabrielle steered around them, making her way to a tall figure near the ropes. He was dressed in a slick black suit with gold and red accents and leaned against a fancy cane that matched his suit to a tee. He was a definite contrast to all the muscular and ruff-looking characters that surrounded him.

"Hey, Dad," Gabrielle said, leaning next to the man. "He put a finger to his lips and held up another with his free hand, not taking his eyes off the match." Gabrielle rolled her eyes with a huff.

You look like you could use a health boost! Don't you think so? " The larger man in the ring yelled loudly for the audience to hear.

"Yeah, do it!" "BOOST EM! " They screamed in response.

The massive man marched over to his opponent. They were holding themselves up with the ropes on the other side. While he was smaller than Health Kick, he was still a gigantic furry being. Some who cared enough to pay him any attention called him the Ghost Jobber because of his light gray coat. However, he didn't have an official name for the ring yet. Slam, his real name, was what he would be announced as. That was, of course, if Mr. Le Pew decided to announce him at all.

Health Kick put him in a headlock. "You need to go down with the next move." He whispered to Slam, hiding his mouth behind his giant forearms so the crowd wouldn't see the exchange. Slam sighed, dissatisfied. He'd been told he'd get a chance to truly win this time and maybe even move up the ranks, but this was the same as every other match.

Slam was about to submit to Health Kick's finisher when a fire ignited in him from yet another broken promise. With a fast twist, he quickly escaped from his opponent. He got his stunned opponent in a hold, ready to finish him off.

"Hey!" The tall man yelled, grabbing the ropes 'his long skunk nose sticking into the ring. His voice was loud and demanding.

Slam's flame was extinguished by Mr. Le Pew almost the second he shouted. He allowed Health Kick to beat him. He was furious at Slam and delivered the full force of his blow to punish him for making him look like a fool.

Slam laid on the ground, frustrated, as Health Kick hurled insults at him, the crowd erupted in cheers for the victor.

"Tell me, Slam," why did you do that? " Le Pew asked as soon as they were backstage. He didn't raise his voice at him or lose his cool, but Slam could tell by the look in his eyes that he was furious with him. The feeling was mutual.

" You groke your gromise! Gierre! " Slam exploded.

"And you big brainless rock almost ruined the performance!" I am losing enough customers without you screwing up the match. The skunk yelled at the massive Tasmanian.

"Why me wrinning ghis ruig row?"Slam huffed angrily.

"Because the audience doesn't like you." Gabrielle interrupted from across the room.

"She is right, Slam. You're not entertaining to them. Do you know what would have happened if you had won that match? You would have ended up losing me thousands!" Pierre yelled, throwing his arms out in a rage.

" You lied. I gonna rind a place to wrestle gor rear. A place thag reats me rearry well." Slam threatened his boss.

"You have a contract, remember?" You can't do anything. Pierre said slyly, thinking he had him cornered.

"Not unress I rove you breached it," Slam said, getting out his phone.

What are you doing? You're not calling a lawyer, are you? Mr. Le Pew asked nervously.

"Raybe," Slam replied, not taking his eyes off his phone as he looked through his contacts for his lawyer's number. He was sick of putting up with all of Pierre's lies and cruelty.

"Stop! Wait! Don't quit. I can't lose another jobber. I'm low-staffed as it is. " Pierre begged.

"Boo who," Slam muttered, pressing the dial on his lawyer's number.

"No, no stop!" Pierre yelled as he jumped up, trying to get Slam's phone from him. Slam easily kept him away from it. "If you quit, you'll take the whole ring with you," Pierre said desperately. Slam just rolled his eyes and waited for his lawyer to pick up.

Daddy! Guess what I did today? " A young girl yelled, running toward them.

"Not now, Grizelda; can't you see I'm busy?" Pierre was desperately trying to get the phone from Slam.

"Oh, OK, Slam! Want to hear what I did today? " The young teen asked, grabbing Slam's hand 'almost knocking his phone out of it.

Pierre took the opportunity to go for the phone, but Slam grabbed it with his other hand, accidentally canceling his call.

The cool guys at Daddy's apartment let me help them take their garbage out!" Grizelda said enthusiastically. Now it might have been surprising for any other kid to have said that, but Slam already knew Grizelda loved anything to do with cleaning. "It was so cool!" She said, beaming with joy.

Slam put his phone away. He would try again later. He didn't want to upset Grizelda. Grizelda was very fond of Slam because he was always nice to her. She would be sad if she knew he was going to quit. Pierre was quite happy that his daughter intervened with Slam's call. Then it hit him what she had just said.

"What were you doing over there?" and "Why were you hanging out with boys?"

"Oh, Gabrielle never picked me up from class, so I decided to do what I wanted." And I wanted to clean, so I went to your apartments. They always need to be cleaned. Grizelda said as if she hadn't done anything wrong.

"Gabrielle! Why didn't you pick up your sister? " Mr. Le Pew yelled at his older daughter.

I did, but she wasn't there. " Gabrielle lied. "And why do I have to pick her up anyway?" "Can't you?" Gabrielle scoffed at him.

"I'm working, young lady." Mr. Le Pew said, gesturing to the ring.

"Well, can't the maid do it?"

"She doesn't like the maid." Mr. Le Pew argued.

"Well, I don't like Grizelda!" Gabrielle yelled back. Grizelda looked down at the ground, her eyes starting to water.

"Rome on, reg's get some popgorn," Slam said, taking her to the popcorn stand. He remembered how it felt when his big brothers would make him cry."

"Why is she so mean to me? I bet my mommy would have liked to pick me up if she was still around. " Grizelda said, grabbing a big bag of popcorn.

"Grizelda, get back here." "I want to talk to you about those boys! " Pew called.

"I've got to go," Grizelda said, quickly running off to her dad, not wanting to get into more trouble.

Slam felt his heart being tugged at. "He really wanted to quit, but he couldn't help but feel guilty." What if what Pierre said was right and the ring shut down because of him? A lot of people could lose their jobs. Well, not really a lot, but some people would. Slam continued to think about it on his way to the gym. It wasn't that bad in the ring, and he liked most of his coworkers. The pay was alright. The real problem was Pierre.

Maybe he could call his lawyer and see if they could find a way to make him hold up his end of the contract. Slam sat down on a bench at the gym and started up his favorite workout playlist on the control screen of his specialized workout suit to get his mind off things.

At the same time, somewhere else in the city, a young Bunny was also trying to drown her troubles with her own playlist.
