Haven woke up feeling squished and hot. Wiggling awake she started laughing. She was wedged between Opie and Lyla. Opie smelled like a hangover which probably explained why he was in bed with the girls. Getting up, she slid her jeans and glasses on, and tied up the t-shirt, before re-locking the door to look for Chibs. She found whom she assumed to be Chuck in the kitchen making coffee.

"Can I get a cup?" Haven asked. Chuck turned and smiled at her.

"Yes ma'am," he said in a voice that made Haven giggle.

"You must be Chuck. I'm Haven or Dr. Morgan," Haven introduced herself taking the cup of coffee from the man.

"Are you the smart girl Chibs talks about?" He asked. Haven nodded.

"If you let me look at your hands, I can maybe find you something better than what you have," she said. Chuck's face lit up.

"You could do that?" He asked in a voice full of hope. Haven set her coffee down.

"Chuck, my degrees are in biochemistry and genetics but I have seen some awesome prosthetic work in the labs. I want to help and I haven't had a chance to use the work area I made in the garage. You will have the most badass hands around," Haven said. She wasn't prepared for the hug Chuck gave her. Hugging him back she let go at the sound of Chibs grumbling.

"Need some coffee old man? Rough night or good night?" she teased. When she wanted to get a reaction from him, she called him old man. Chibs glared at her.

"You're the biochemist, create a hangover cure," he snapped. Haven laughed and handed over her coffee.

"Then I couldn't say 'Don't be stupid' or 'I told you so'," Haven said. Chibs sent her another glare.

"Where'd you disappear to?" he asked, he saw her with Lyla most of the night so didn't worry too much. Opie told him how she beat up a hang around; he was sorry he missed the show.

"Went to have a hot threesome with Opie and Lyla," she said with a shrug. Chibs spit out his coffee.

"What?" he asked, wiping his chin now noticing she had a Reaper shirt on. Haven smiled.

"I went to bed just after midnight. Woke up between Opie and Lyla. Opie smelled like you look, so I am assuming he just passed out in the bed not realizing he had both me and Lyla," Haven said. She turned to Chuck. "Got any food?" He nodded.

"Making some pancakes and bacon," he said.

"Hold the bacon for me, but whistle when the pancakes are done," Haven said, moving to the door.

"I accept that," he said. Chibs followed her outside. He lit a cigarette and watched her take a drink of coffee.

"Thought that was mine," he said. Haven shrugged.

"It was mine first, so you get to share." Chibs chuckled and sat beside her, his arm around her shoulder. "You need a shower da," Haven said scrunching her nose.

"Later. Did you have a decent night my love?" he asked, taking another drag of his cigarette.

"I did, nothing too horrible happened beside the hang around. I'm gonna see Happy today," Haven said. Chibs nodded, expecting that. They heard Chucky whistling and got up.

Happy was pacing his cell, on edge and agitated. He hoped that last night went fine for Haven. If anything had happened, he would have a hard time not killing Chibs and Opie. The more he thought of anyone trying to be with Haven the more he realized how much he cared about her. That was his girl and Happy was pissed off everyone else got to spend so much time with her.

When the guard came to get him, he couldn't get to her fast enough. She was in her normal skinny jeans and a UW Madison hoodie. He found her very attractive in her glasses and wondered what she looked like in that lacy black dress and glasses. When she hugged him, she lingered a moment looking up at him, her eyes asking him for a kiss. He indulged her but kissed her forehead to tease her. She pouted at him as she sat at the table, wishing she could sit next to him.

Her legs bounced as she wrapped both her hands around one of his. He looked her over and really wanted to reach out and touch her legs, running his hand up to her jeans zipper. He would settle for fingering her in the jeans, or pulling her into his lap to straddled him. Haven cleared her throat and Happy snapped his head up. She smirked at catching him.

"Happy New Year's," she said with a smile.

"You too," he replied, "Tell me about last night."

"Met Piney, who is adorable…" Happy grunted at that assessment of the old man. "he is, shut it. Hung out mostly with Lyla and Opie. Gemma wasn't there but I think she was with Tara and the kids. Anyway…I kind of got into a fight," Haven stopped there to watch Happy's reaction. His eyes narrowed in anger, his free hand clenching in a fist.

"Tell me," he said in a voice of controlled rage. Haven smirked, she kind of liked teasing him like this.

"I was playing pool with Lyla…and someone put their hands on me," she stopped again as Happy's eyes darkened his grip tightening on her hand.

"Motherfucker is dead…" he growled. Haven shook her head.

"I elbowed him in the chest and dropped him with a solar plexus shot. That was the end of it," she finished. "Besides, that is nothing compared to who I ended up in bed with," Happy's squeeze on her hand was painful and if looks could kill, she would be six feet under.

"What?" he whispered which was more frightening than if he yelled.

"I woke up squished between a passed out, hungover Opie and Lyla. Nothing happened. I think Opie just stumbled into bed not realizing who was in it. I left the clubhouse before they woke up," Haven said as Happy's gripped loosened.

"Bitch," he said. While was glad nothing happened in bed, he was pissed someone put their hands on her. "Don't tease with that shit. You. Are. Mine. No one should be touching you," he finished. Haven nodded, and reached up to stroke his cheek. He slightly relaxed under her touch.

"Happy Lowman, you are the only one I want. I know Lyla locked the dorm room and Opie would never do anything. Chibs and him weren't right next me when that guy touched me. I'm fine," she soothed. Happy looked at her. He hated not being on the outside with her when he could handle this shit when it happened. He sighed and gave her hand a squeeze signaling for her to continue talking.

"I met Chucky, he is over the moon over me helping with his hands," Haven changed subjects, sensing Happy was on emotional overload.

"I'm sure," Happy said, his mind still going over what she told him. Haven noticed this.

"Happy look at me," she said. Happy looked up into her eyes. "I know you're pissed. But please hear me when I say I belong to you. As odd as it happened and as fast as it did, I wouldn't and couldn't do anything to jeopardize that. Do you hear me?" Happy dropped his eyes, he could feel his rage lessen at her words.

He nodded but still wanted to hit something or someone. Haven noticed the guard coming over and stood. Happy pulled her into a tight hug. Haven buried her face in his chest and ran her hands up and down his back. Pulling back, he leaned in to kiss her. Haven pushed as much feeling as she could into that chaste kiss.

When it ended, she whispered against his lips, "I love you." Happy nodded, the words making his chest and stomach tighten. He didn't say anything, just watched Haven leave. He was making a call to Chibs to sort this shit out.

Haven woke on the morning of her birthday to Boo licking her face. She pushed the pit bull off and sighed. She wished it was Happy that woke her up. Since New Year's, there was an odd tension in their relationship. It wasn't like she afraid of him not wanting her, more like she wanted the next step and couldn't have it. Chibs had gotten his ass chewed out over the phone by Happy because of what had happened with the hang around. Haven had asked if he expected anything less when he showed up for dinner in a pissed off mood.

Turning on the shower Haven went through her morning routine. She couldn't visit Happy until Saturday because of state standardized testing at the high school. After school, she was going to hang with Lyla and the kids. They had something planned for her but it was a surprise.

When Haven was grabbing her keys, the doorbell rang. It was the UPS guy with a package. Haven signed for it in confusion. Opening it, she found a note from Happy.

Haven,

Happy birthday. Wear it on your left hand. I love you.

Haven gasped as tears formed in her eyes. Happy hadn't said those three words yet and never used them lightly. She had only ever heard him say it to his mother. In the package was a book and a black velvet box. She smiled at the book: The Complete Short Stories of Hercule Poriot. Her fingers shook as she opened the velvet box. Nestled inside was a ring. It was a 2 carat round cut diamond in a pave infinity diamond studded rose gold band. She slid it on her left ring finger in a perfect fit.

She was speechless and her heart was racing as she went to her car. As soon as her heart slowed, she smiled as she cried happy tears. Happy made sure that she had a good birthday and let her know how he felt about them- the ring being the closest thing to his crow that he could give her at the moment. It didn't bother her that he did it through the mail, she liked how unique it was.

"Holy shit girl, what is on your hand?" Lyla squealed when she saw her that evening. Taking Haven's hand she gave a whistle.

"Happy proposed…through the mail," Haven smiled.

"Only Happy could make that even remotely romantic and not lazy," Lyla said moving so Ellie could hug Haven and given her own squeal at the ring.

"Happy birthday!" Kenny said as him and Piper joined the group. Haven messed his hair up making him scowl at her.

"Thanks sweetie, ready to eat?" Both boys nodded pulling her toward her favorite Thai place in Lodi, which was the surprise.

Finding a table the kids told her about their day. Lyla said she was now working with the producer and looking over all the books. She did have an associates in accounting and was glad to put it to use. Haven was proud of her, knowing that move also helped her relationship with Opie.

Dinner was a fun affair, especially watching the kids try the spicy foods. Haven loved it, loved feeling like she had a family she was a part of. Looking at the table, she spoke.

"Thank you. You four adopted me into your family. I love you all," she said as the tears came down her cheeks. The kids surrounded her in a group hug. It was Ellie who spoke.

"We want you to be our aunt," she said. Haven smiled so big her face hurt.

"I would be honored. You are the best kids ever!" she said and kissed them all. Haven couldn't remember a better birthday.

Haven decided to dress up on Saturday for her visit. She put on ripped up black skinny jeans that hugged every curve and a white racer back tank that had a black glitter skull that highlighted her breasts scooping low so she added a red lace push-up bra and her black leather Harley jacket. The stiletto boots completed the look. She curled her hair and smoked her eyes. Oh, he would notice her today. Arriving in the visitor room, she twisted her new ring on her finger, it being the only jewelry she had on besides her watch.

Happy glared when he saw her. Damn… she looked hot today and he wasn't the only one who noticed. He slowly looked her over, noticing each curve, licking his lips seeing a hint of a red lace bra. Red was his favorite color for lingerie. He also noticed the ring he got her. That had been a hard decision, but he wanted her to know she was completely his. Seeing it on her now, he knew he made the right decision.

Haven wasted no time hugging him tight pressing a kiss to his lips. "Thank you Happy," she whispered. He pulled her back and kissed her forehead as he moved them to sit down.

"It's wonderful and perfect. Would have gotten you head and sex," she teased at the end. Happy barely suppressed a groan at that thought.

"Really?" he asked raising an eyebrow. Haven smiled.

"Who knows, maybe even a lap dance," she reached out and took his hand bringing it to her lips. She kissed his palm and smiled at him. "Actually, just the book would have gotten you a dance…." Happy shook his head, Haven's love of books ran deep.

"How are the hands coming?" he asked. It was too much torture listening to her tell him what she wanted to do sexually and not have it happen. Haven's face brightened at that.

"Good. I have Chucky measured and I have a call out to a couple former colleagues. I'm optimistic they should be able to help. I also ordered some materials to see what I can improve on what he has in the meantime," Haven replied. Happy nodded.

"The mutts?"

"Good. Kenny is trying to teach Boo how to 'say please'. It's pretty funny to watch," Haven answered. She smiled the smile that made her eyes sparkle. Happy wondered what she was going to say. Whatever it was made her extremely happy.

"The kids' birthday present to me was telling me they wanted me to be their aunt," she said with tears in her eyes.

"You're good them," Happy replied not really knowing what to say. Haven shook her head at him.

"They are good to me. It helps having them and Lyla, Chibs, and Opie when you are in here being new in town. It's hard you know?" she finished, dropping her head, biting her lip. Happy tilted her chin up.

"I know babe, you're doing good," Happy said and before he finished Haven was in his arms, loving that he called her babe.

The guard came up behind him. He pushed Haven back as she gave a sheepish shrug. Giving her a glare along with a short speech on the rules before he let them be to which Happy was appreciative, another guard might have made her leave.

"Sorry…" she mumbled. Happy shook his head at her, wondering how she would react to other nicknames. "Anyways, how are you in here?"

"I'm fine," he replied. He didn't mention the fight that almost happened with the Russians or the club business that he was wary about. Haven ran her hands through her hair and stretched. Happy watched her body move then took her left hand.

"So…you like it huh?" he asked smirking. Haven smiled.

"You're fishing now because I gushed earlier. Stop being a prick, you get to tell your ma when you get out," Haven chastised. Happy smirked knowing Maria would flip her shit he was "settling down". They spent the rest of the time in comfortable silence, holding hands. Haven hugged Happy close, inhaling his presence at the buzzer.

"Three months…three months…" she murmured. Happy sighed, it would be a long three months.
