Summary: Seven has been misplaced within time. Is her wife alright? Does she know what happened? Can she make it back home? (Janeway/Seven)

Disclaimer: I don't own Startrek Voyager or anything associated with it.

Seven slipped out of her towel and felt her way through the dark bedroom towards the bed. *Crack*

She felt it more that heard it as pain shot through her shins. "Fuck! Damn it! Ow.." she whisper shouted. Not wanting to wake the silhouetted form that was laying in bed.Who moved the coffee table? Kathryn must have been moving stuff around for the designers arriving tomorrow. Breathing through the pain she made her way towards the bed and slipped in undetected.

She promised only a couple more hours in the work shop but time slipped away from her. Before she knew it the sun was down and the Indiana sky was full of stars.

Breathing deeply and closing her eyes she was almost asleep when she felt Kathryn stir and roll into her. Sleepy and confused eyes met her own. Reaching over, Seven pulled her closer and held her while running her free hand lightly through Kathryn's hair at the nap of her neck. It was one of her weaknesses. A way to relax her and melt away the tension that she carried all to often.

Kathryn was confused. She fell asleep thinking about Seven regenerating in cargo bay 2 (which she did little too often) Only to be woken by the stunning woman who had crawled into her bed completely naked and was now holding her and running her fingers through her hair. Was this a dream? They were often vivid and felt very real at times. She must still be dreaming. Seven smiled at the still confused looking woman that was slowly melting back to sleep beneath her fingers.

"Seven" she said in a statement of disbelief.

"Yes my love. I'm sorry time got away from me. I feel like we've both been so busy lately it's been difficult to find time for us. But I will correct this, if you let me."

"Whatever you think is best darling." Kathryn closed her eyes relishing in the false reality that her dream permit her.

Seven leaned in and kissed her with light pecks then softly and slow. She heard Kathryn gasp into her and felt the pace change into swiftly growing desire.

This isn't a dream! What is happening? What has come over Seven? Maybe her implants were malfunctioning. God, how was she so good at kissing? Damn that Borg perfection. With a will power she didn't know she had, Kathryn pushed Seven back enough to stop themselves. Out of breath, she worked her mouth a bit searching for the words.

"Seven, I don't know what is going through your head right now but, this is highly inappropriate. I am your Captain and I cannot participate in-.. I-I cannot 'be' with a member of my crew. It's a conflict of interest My position would be compromised-"

"Maybe a compromising position is exactly where I want you to be, 'Captain'." Seven replied with all the devil in her smile.

Much to Sevens delight, Kath was awake enough to banter like they often did in bed. She resumed the path she was forging with her mouth from Kathryns lips, to that spot behind her ear. Down her neck and then slowly farther down making her way to her breasts.

"Oh fuck." Kathryn was practically whimpering. It had been five years of loneliness for her on Voyager. One hell of a dry spell which made her weak willed. Plus Seven clearly wanted this with her. And she obviously knew what she was doing. Fuck, it would take a strength Kathryn knew she didn't have to stop Seven now. What is it that Chakotay was always telling her? ' You may be Captain but you are still human'. And she wanted to be human, at least for tonight.

Thoroughly ravished after what felt like countless earth-shattering orgasms, the captain found herself falling into a deep sleep wrapped up in her human-borg hybrid. The blonde followed her to sleep shortly after.

Her door chimed much to her dismay. Janeway pulled herself from the warmth of the arms that held her. Looking back on her way to the door she could hardly believe the beauty that was tangled in her sheets.

"Chakotay, this better be an emergency."

"I'm sorry Kathryn, I tryed talking with you on the comm-badge but you didn't reply. I figured you might have been sleeping through it because it's your day off."

"In all my years I've never missed a comm-badge hail. I don't think I'd start now." Kathryn was proud of her work ethic and didn't like the implication that she was slacking because of being scheduled off. "Now what's the emergency?"

"Seven did not report for duty this morning. When we asked the computer to locate her it said she was not onboard. I thought you'd like to know."

"Sounds like there might be a problem with the comm-badges." Kathryn was beyond relieved for this malfunction. She lucked out. The gossip that locating Seven would have created would be merciless, regardless of how accurate it may be.

"Of course I should have thought of that. Still doesn't change the fact the Seven didn't report for duty this morning, but I didn't even think of searching for bio signatures. Computer, locate Seven of nine using bio signs-"

"Computer, Stop!" Janeway almost shouted in a panic.

Chakotay looked wildly confused

"Ah- Chakotay, I have a feeling I know where Seven might be. She had a rough day yesterday so I gave her the day off. I'm sorry I forgot to inform you, I basically forgot about it myself untill just now."

"Alright Captain, I'll get those comm-badges fixed. My guess is it's caused by interference from the nebula. Have a good rest of your day."

"Thanks Chakotay, you too."

The door closed and pausing for a moment she sighed with relief. Walking back toward the bedroom she noticed the blonde was no longer asleep. She was sat up completely naked save for the sheet that held her legs. Looking around in a confused panic.

"Something is wrong. Why are we back on Voyager??" Intense blue eyes met hers.

"Back? Seven, the last planet side mission was months ago. Are you alright?"

"No I'm not alright. What's the star date?"

"52081.2"

"...Fuck me..." she breathed

"Why are you swearing? You never swear. 'It's an inefficient use of communication and a waste if time' I believe you've said. Don't get me wrong I kind of like it but it's not like you."

"Does April 22 mean anything to you? Or Penelope? Or Aspen?"

"No.. should it?"

She sighed closing her eyes for a moment collecting herself. It was then Kathryn noticed it. Seven was not as rigid as she usually was. She was actually much more human in her manner and intonations.

"No it shouldn't. Not yet anyways.."

This wasn't her seven! "What date are you from exactly?"

"From five years in the future"

Author's note: Should I keep going?
