Hi everyone! I'm back with a few one shots based on my story, Nightmare In London. If you haven't read it yet, I invite you to check it out! :)

I enjoyed writing the nightmares that both Henry and Elizabeth experienced in that story, and I know a few more were in my brain at the time. Not sure if I remember them now, but this first one won't leave me alone. So, I share it with you now!

Please review if you enjoy it! They make my my day.

Nightmares

"Gosh, this view really is amazing. Isn't it Henry?" Elizabeth said, looking out the window over the Thames. "Everything looks so beautiful at night."

"Yes, it does." She heard Henry say behind her in a suggestive tone.

She looked over her shoulder at her husband. His eyes trailed over her with such love and admiration.

"Oh stop it." She laughed, but her heart warmed at his affection for her.

"Can't Babe. You look beautiful tonight." He said as he began opening their bottle of Champagne.

She gave him a loving smile before returning her attention to the river below.

Behind her she heard the pop of the Champagne cork. There was another strange sound following it that confused her. Quiet, but present.

Her heartbeat accelerated, recognizing that sound.

Iran. Explosion. Bullets.

She inhaled sharply, bracing herself.

Milliseconds later, a loud bang filled the room, followed by the large hotel windows crashing around her.

The impact threw her backwards into the room, knocking the breath from her.

"ELIZABETH!" She heard Henry call behind her as her body collided with the ground beneath her.

He ran towards her, just like Fred did.

"No, Henry! Stay back!" She called to him, tears filling her eyes.

He ignored her, throwing himself over Elizabeth to protect her.

Covering her torso with his, he leaned forward, his face close to hers while his arms and hands shielded her head.

It all happened so fast.

Bullets echoed through the room. Henry's body jolted at the impact as three hit him in the back.

"NO!" Elizabeth screamed.

She tried to catch his gaze, but his body lay still.

She attempted to move out from under him, needing to get Henry some help.

His body was too heavy. She couldn't offset his weight.

"HELP! Please!" She called to her security detail. Where are they?!

A feeling of helplessness filled her, desperately needing to protect him.

"Henry, please! Please don't leave me!" She cried.

His lack of response lay heavy on her heart.

"Henry!" She screamed.

She wrapped her arms and legs tightly around her husband, trying to pull him even closer to her, trying to keep him with her.

"I love you." She whispered to him, but she knew it was too late.

He's already gone.
