Chapter 1: New Problems
It had been two months since slaughterhouse contract had been completed and Tsuyu was back to doing her normal life routine which summed up to doing nothing. She was currently reading A Cracked Tea Pot, A erotic historical fiction novel by none other than award winning novelist Minoru Mineta. She had been sent a early copy and was expecting weird trashy porn, but this was much more, "I wasn't expecting this to be that good but I'm honestly shocked and impressed at how good it is." She wasn't planning on thanking him but now she was going to send him a thanks for it. She put the book down and headed to the kitchen where she had a small whiteboard on the fridge. She wrote a reminder to send Mineta a thank you, it was the only thing that was written on it. She sighed was about to just go to bed when someone rang her doorbell.
She opened it to see Mr. Tsuragamae carrying a briefcase, "Good afternoon Miss Asui." He greeted. She already knew what this was about, "Hello Mr. Tsuragamae, please come in and I'll make some tea." She lead him into the kitchen where he sat down at the table and watched as she put some water in a pot to boil, "Mrs. Asui, we need you to lead another mission." Tsuyu opened a cabinet that had different tea packets, "Am I fighting terrorists again ribbit?" She asked. He shook his head no, "We don't know who it is but a secret government base in Kotohira has gone dark. There has been no sightings of any supervillain activity so we sent a team to investigate, Not a single one checked back in." Tsuragamae opened his briefcase and handed her a bunch of pictures of an old house and blueprints of the facility.
"I'm guessing this place is so secret that no pro heroes know about its existence?" The tea pot started to whistle. She poured the hot water into two cups with tea bags and gave one to Tsuragamae, "Thank you and the answer to your question is yes woof."
(One Day Later)
Tsuyu was once again surrounded by villains, but this time instead of a transport helicopter it was a nice charter bus. She looked around and most of the same people were back again which she thought was nice and easier because she did not want to convince another group of people that the bombs were real. Moonfish was asleep with his shoulder on Mustard's shoulder, he was upset but if he tried to move Moonfish would bite him. Sakaki was sitting alone looking out the window ignoring everyone else. Chomper was eating a candy bar while Bearhead ate a whole leg of Turkey, overall they looked rather happy, "So how have you been?" A ecstatic Himiko asked getting really close to her face, "I've been good, how about you?"
Himiko seemed a little surprised at her response, "I've been good. Prison has gotten a lot nicer since I got all that cool stuff for helping kill that guy in the Phillipines. How's Deku? Have you talked to him lately? Is he thinking about me because I think about him every night." Himiko's smile creeped her out. Izuku doesn't know she's out here doing this but she knew if their was anyone he was thinking of, it was her. "So what do you think of the new guys?" Tsuyu quickly changed the subject which has become common with Himiko. There were 2 new additions to the group that Mr. Tsuragamae had given her files on. The first was Daigo, who use run with Wolfram before getting arrested. He's on a life sentence for all the crimes he's done.
The other was Victor, a friend of Chomper who committed similar crimes like his friend. Probably should have chosen a better friend. Himiko gave it some thought towards her new teammates, "Well Victor is cool with me because he's a friend of Chomper so I trust him to help if needed, but of course I don't know Chomper that well outside the last mission but he seems alright. As for the other guy, he looks strong and can probably back it up. I wouldn't mess with him alone but the bomb in his neck will keep in check" Himiko waved at Victor who awkwardly waved back at her, "Hope he lasts longer than Gust Boy did the poor guy. By the way, are you gonna tell us who we're fighting this time or are we gonna find out later in the middle of the mission like last time? Beacause if I'm being honest I prefer finding out now if that's possible, thank you."
Her words gained the attention of the others, except Moonfish who was still asleep but Mustard was listening in. Tsuyu was in agreement with them, it's just too bad she had no clue, "That's why we're going on this mission to find out what happened and eliminate all targets if any." They didn't seem pleased by the hero's answer but they didn't seem angry either, they were more annoyed at the lack of a confirmation of an enemy threat. Himiko reached into her bag and pulled out a comic book that Tsuyu had honestly forgot about. It was the last issue of her short lived comic from 8 years ago, "Where did you get that?" The Frog hero asked.
Himiko opened up to the first page that had an ad for the All Might movie from that year, "I requested it from the prison and they delivered to me. I'm honestly shocked this lasted only 14 issues with how good it is. Do you defeat the bug villains?" Himiko begged for an answer. Tsuyu thought the villain was joking with her but she could see Himiko was being serious. The frog hero was kind of touched by this, "I'm sorry Toga, but I don't know how it ends. The only involvement I had was in the first two issues." Little did they know Victor and Chomper were huge comic nerds and they were listening in. Mustard was also intrigued, "So why did they cancel it after 14 issues?" The gas villain questioned. The frog hero shrugged, "I have no idea. It sold well in the US and UK." Sneakily, Chomper and Victor has snuck into the seats infront of Himiko and Asui. They were both looking over the seat at the girls and were overly excited, "Can we see that comic?"
"No Chomper, get your own using your prison privileges." Himiko hid her comic in her backpack so they wouldn't get their hands on it. They seem sad and slumped back down in their seats like children who were told no by their mom. Moonfish had woken and all he heard was comic, "What's going on? Someone has a comic of me?" Mustard moved the cannibals head off his shoulder. Bearhead looked at Moonfish confused, "Why would someone make about comic of you? You're a serial killer cannibal." Bearhead had to bring up the obvious. Moonfish just smiled at him, "I have a wonderful personality." He said happily. Mustard was holding in his laughter and Bearhead didn't know how to respond, "Actually Moonfish is in one issue." Moonfish jumped up from his seat yelling, "SERIOUSLY?" As loud as he could.
"Yeah in the fifth issue has you being arrested, and they say Moonfish in the comic so they can't pretend it's not." Himiko explained. Tsuyu thought he would be happy at the news, it was the exact opposite. He grew angry and started foaming from the mouth, "THOSE BASTARDS NEVER PAID FOR MY LIKENESS. I WANT MY ROYALTIES DAMN THEM."
(Tartarus Monitoring Room)
Tsuragamae was present in the room so everyone was acting on their best behavior, typing away and making it seem like they were busy planning for the mission and not waiting for their boss to leave so they can party and make a deadpool. Tsuragamae took a sip from his coffee, "Alright I'm off. I trust you all to make the right decisions." As soon as Tsuragamae walked out of that room, Hunter pulled out a tupperware container and everyone threw in some money.
(Asui's Apartment)
Izuku entered the apartment with hands full groceries, "He Tsu I got two choices for dinner, beef or chicken?" He waited but there was no answer. He put the bags down on the kitchen and headed to the bedroom but she wasn't there. He tried calling her but his call went straight to voicemail. Izuku was starting concerned, it was unusal for her to just leave without sending a text that she wasn't going to be home, "Maybe she's with Mina." Just then there was a knock on the door, Izuku ran over and opened it, "Hey Tsu I." He stopped himself when he saw it was her two younger siblings, Samidare and Satsuki, "Oh hi." Izuku said awkwardly. It's been awhile since he had seen them and he almost didn't recognize Satsuki, "Is our sister home? We tried calling but we got no answer." Samidare seemed agitated, "I'm sorry she's not home. I actually thought you guys were her just now?" Izuku smiled but Samidare was not happy, Satsuki however was Starstruck. Her favorite hero was here in the flesh, Deku the number four hero was standing within touching distance at her sister's place.
Just then, one of the grocery bags fell over and all the ingredients fell out onto the table, "What was that?" Samidare asked hearing the thud, "Oh just some groceries fell over. Would you guys like to come in?" Izuku really didn't want anything to get ruined and he wasn't about to leave them there while he cleaned it up. As soon as they were inside he immediately put everything back in the bag neatly, "You buy my sister groceries?" Samidare questioned. Izuku and Tsuyu had not told anyone they were dating, not even their families knew. Izuku just played it cool, "Yeah, it's what friends do." He knew it was a weak excuse but it's all he could think of on the spot. Another bag fell over and a bottle of non-alcoholic wine and a heart shape box of chocolate slid out. The number four hero quickly put everything back in the bag, "My sister bought heart shaped chocolates and non-alcoholic wine?" Samidare wasn't buying it. Izuku started to sweat, "Yep. she loves them. loves them a lot." Another bag fell over revealing candles, rose petals, and a romantic card that had a frog sitting on a heart shaped lilypad saying I find you quite ribbiting on the cover.
Izuku was internally crying.
