You have entered a forest.

You are looking for a Berry Tree.

You want a Berry.

Eevee wants a Berry

You walk under the shade of a tree, heading deeper into the forest.

'STOP DOING THAT!'

Ignoring the shout behind you, you march along a small downtrodden path. Likely the path the Riolu had taken before. You pass by trees and bushes and walk past Weedles and Caterpies. A few Burmy hang from trees above, watching below, as Butterfrees and Beedrils pass by overhead. Just as you pass a tree, a Ralts sticks their head out, notices you, and slips back in.

After a few more moments, you find the tree. It's an Oran Berry tree, with large, bright blue Oran berries hanging from the branches. Not what you would have preferred, but you weren't feeling particularly picky at the moment. What was upsetting you, however, was a young Weedle climbing up the tree, crawling for one of the few remaining berries.

You could- wait patiently for the Weedle to claim its prize. After all, there were still plenty of berries left, and no other Pokemon seems to want to go for it.

With a small clipping sound, the berry falls, and so does the Weedle soon after. You watch quietly as the Weedle claims the berry and crawls away, before turning back up to the tree. A quick realization comes in the tree being too tall to simply reach up and grab one, so after a moment's consideration, you act.

Your tail glows white, then silver, before you leap and strike one of the branches with it. It shakes and, as you fall, you see a berry fall with you.

With glee, you land before quickly catching the Berry in your mouth. You chew, feeling the strange sensation of slight bitterness and spiciness mix together on your tongue. It's an acquired taste, you know that much, but the satisfaction of your craving is more than enough.

You have eaten a berry.
