Viktor didn't relax or let go until they are in the safety of his own flat he has heavily warded anyway in case fans somehow find it's location. He didn't feel completely safe until he added a few more. It wasn't until his mate took his face in her petite hands and brought him down to her level, with her forehead resting against his own did he relax a little bit and wrapped both his arms more securely around her waist.

"Viktor... I'm safe, I am here." She whispered, and he couldn't control himself, he captured her lips with his.

"Stay with me for the rest of the summer... I know going back to our respective schools will be difficult, but now I have you, I don't think I can let you go, Hermione. Once I mark you, we'll be basically married as Veela's mate for life." A pretty blush coloured her cheeks. Her arms wrapped around his neck.

"I felt panic when I couldn't see you after Ron distracted me, is that normal?" She asked him.

"Yes! I felt it, and it's why I sent you that message. I am glad you got your book out or else I'm not sure how I would have found you..." she kissed his lips feeling comfortable and safe.

"How does this work? I technically should be 15, I am one of the oldest in my year group, but due to my use of time turner since third year, to fit in all my extra classes I wanted to learn I am seventeen. How old are you?" She asked him, he looked relieved.

"Eighteen, so we are both adults, thanks to your time-turner usage. Is your true age registered?"

"Yes, my friends and year group don't know, you are the first person I've told about my time-turner usage, that isn't Hogwarts staff or my parents." He kissed her lips.

"I'm glad you used a time-turner, it'll make things a lot easier for us both in the long run. I might be a little overprotective. Which is natural for a Veela to be with their mate, and even more so as you are unmarked. I more than likely always will be, I don't share very well."

"Are you an only sibling?"

"Yes," he said surprised.

"I'm exactly the same, I have no siblings. I don't share my things very well either unless I know I can trust the person one hundred percent. I don't particularly like to share either!" He kissed her lips.

"Then we already have stuff in common, which is another reason why my Veela chose you. I would have been attracted to you even if I wasn't a Veela, this side of me only quickens the pace of things, which might take time in an ordinary relationship ours is special, as there won't be anyone else for us but us."

"I will need to contact the Burrow to let them know I'm safe but not coming back, for the rest of the summer."

"I'd prefer it if you didn't tell them where you are, I'd like to keep us private and it's nice having something the public isn't aware of, you can use my fireplace, and then I'll show you around." Viktor led her back to said fireplace and grabbed some floo powder casting it so only her face shows through he kisses her lips and asks her if she would like a drink and she requested coffee, something else they had in common and he loved the fact she is clearly an intelligent witch.

"The Burrow, Molly Weasley," his witch said, as he did his thing in the kitchen.

"Mrs Weasley, I'm fine. I can't say where I'm at as the persons or person I'm with doesn't want people to know but I am safe and will be staying here for the rest of the summer." She didn't say anything for a while as she listened to this Mrs Weasley.

"No, I can't. I promised I wouldn't say their name or names, but I am fine, happy and safe. Surly that's all that matters?" His mate said sounding a little annoyed.

"Yes, I'm well aware there was a Death Eater attack, Mrs Weasley. I'm lucky I was talking to the people or person I'm with at the time." It wasn't an exact lie. Viktor brought the coffees over to the coffee table and knelt down with her running his fingers up and down her spine, letting her know he was there, giving her silent support.

"No, I'm not coming back, Mr Weasley. Please don't get Harry, Ron or Ginny! Ron and Harry especially will only make things harder. I will see them on the Hogwarts Express." His eyebrows rose, Hogwarts she'd mentioned it before and he realised, now his mind is off Quidditch that his school is one of the three being chosen to take part in the Tri-Wizard tournament. He'd owl his headmaster and ask him for more details. He hoped that her school is part of this because that means it would make things easier for them instead of waiting for holidays. This is his last year at Durmstrang. He could move to England and be closer to his mate or he could persuade her here.

"I'm really sorry Arthur and Molly but nothing you can say would change my mind. One day I might be able to tell you my story of where I am, but just know that I am happy, safe and comfortable with the people or person I'm with." She repeated similarly again.

"Because I don't want to reveal who they are because they asked me not to mention their name." He noticed she was starting to get tenser. He got behind her and leaned over to massage her neck and shoulders, loving the way her body reacted to his touch.

"I'm sorry but I have to go, thank you for taking me as well Mr Weasley, and Mrs Weasley for letting me stay." She ended the fire call and she turned around wrapping herself around him and kissing him passionately. He lay her down on the rug by the fireplace, so he is now completely covering her with his body and feeling every inch of hers.

"Viktor Todor Krum!" He froze on top of Hermione, his hand on her breast under her jumper, hearing the shocked sound of his mother's voice he closed his eyes and reluctantly removed his hand and locked eyes with his mate who was blushing a deep shade of red.

"Oh leave the boy Athena, she's clearly his mate or else he wouldn't have brought her back here. At least we know he is safe!" His father's voice is full of amusement.

Viktor helped Hermione up, and tucked his blushing mate into his side, as he met the shocked gaze of his mother, and amused one of his father's.

"So aren't you going to introduce us Viktor?"

"Yes, this is Hermione Granger, Hermione this is my parents Athena and Todor Krum."

"Pleased to meet you," she said shyly. They looked at her in surprise as she spoke to them. She forgot she still had the language charm on so she could communicate with Viktor easily without any broken sentences.

"You speak Bulgarian?" Todor asked surprised.

"Language charm, I have had it on since I met Viktor."

"Clever little witch I see," Athena said impressed.

"Yes, I feel you should know as well," she glanced at Viktor and he nodded.

"My age has changed due to my use of a time-turner, I should be 15 being one of the oldest in my year group! But my true age is actually seventeen, not many know this, not even my friends. I've been using a time-turner to fit in all the classes I wanted to attend, with Headmaster Dumbledore's consent."

"I can understand why you'd want to keep this a secret. Some people will want to use time-turners for the wrong reasons. Viktor I see you've already made forgotten coffees aren't you going to offer us one?" His mother said at the end with a raised eyebrow.

"Of course," he said. Taking hold of Hermione's hand and led her to the half-circle round sofa, in a bay window that looked over the ocean and part of the city or town they are in.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Athena said sitting down next to her. "You are in the beautiful city of Sozopol, Old Town. Viktor brought this place when he was sixteen, wanting his own space and place to grow in, and have his own privacy after games." She explained.

"I'm not really much of a Quidditch fan, to be honest, I didn't even know who Viktor was, until my friends Harry and Ronald," she said his name with disdain, Athena rose her eyebrows at this, but kept quiet. "Started blabbering on about the Quidditch World Cup and Mr Weasley who works at the Ministry of Magic was lucky enough to get us all tickets." She explained.

"What did Ronald do?" Athena asked, loving gossip.

"I felt the mate pull to Viktor when he came up in front of our stand, his eyes locked with mine and it was fine until I lost sight of him because Ronald got jealous thinking Viktor had made eye contact with me, I lied and said he hadn't but didn't like the feeling it created within me, at the time I didn't understand what it meant."

"I pulled up to her stand deliberately, when I noticed she had a book on her lap, at a Quidditch match of all places and used wand-less magic to send a message charm to her, to meet me at the player entrance once I've caught the golden snitch."

"And then Viktor got word of the Death Eaters' arrival, and... I remember you sending Mr Weasley a Patronus to let him know I'm safe but after that, everything is a bit of a blur, as to how we got here."

"I changed my voice so I wouldn't be recognised when I sent the Patronus message. We had a fireplace set up to use as an emergency exit should we need to escape quickly." He explained, Hermione nodded as she relaxed into his side and coffee mugs moved in the air to their designated owner, she took hers and sipped on it.

"And now we are here..." his mother mused.

"Indeed, when do you plan on marking Hermione? It is obvious there's already a strong attraction between the two of you, from what we almost walked in on!" His father said seriously.

"How long can a male go without marking his mate?" Viktor asked, his parents.

"A couple of days maybe, you've clearly got a strong pull without even being marked. Your father and I barely lasted twenty-four hours." Viktor cringed not wanting that mental image in his head, his father chuckled.

"What? We know you aren't no saint son, I must ask Hermione as it's important, are you?" She blushed.

"Yes, no man or boy has seen me out of clothing."

"Good, that means the mating bond will be extra strong and special for you two. Your mother, unfortunately, had a boyfriend when we met."

"Oh don't start getting all sulky and jealous Todor! I've been with you for the last twenty years, I hope you two give me grandchildren quicker than he blessed us with Viktor," Athena said, causing them both to choke on the coffee they'd just taken a drink from.
