Rosen speaks with Bull

"I know that my not agreeing to allow you and the chargers to assist the Ben Hassarath with taking down the red lyrium smuggling operation upset you, Bull. But now that you know the full truth of who I am, I would like to explain the reasons I made that decision. If you are willing to hear it."

"I'm listening," the Iron Bull replied in his low voice. His dark eyes were intent as he looked down at him.

"I get.. feelings, and sometimes visions, from the Maker and Andraste. All true dragons do. They guide me. I am sure you understand why this conversation needs to stay between us. You are not the only one who knows, but it is not something that should be spread around to all of Thedas and beyond."

"I understand."

"Good. Even if I thought an alliance with the Qunari to be a wise idea, which I do not, Andraste warned me against it. She showed me what would have happened if I had agreed to it, and the choices we would have had to choose from in that situation would have devastated you, Bull. I would never wish that kind of pain on anyone I care about. You are my friend, and I could never agree to anything which would harm you so badly."

"I- You- I see. Thank you for telling me, boss."

"Of course. It has been difficult keeping things from all of you, though it was necessary. With Corypheus outside Skyhold and the Dread Wolf within, I have had to guard my every word when I was not in my quarters. I sent a message to my people so they could subtly deal with the red lyrium smugglers with no need to involve the Qunari."
