A/N: OK before reading this there are a few things you need to know...

1. While the idea for this fic has been in the back of my mind for a while the actual writing of this one shot was done while I was in quarantine after being diagnosed with COVID-19. I also wrote it completely long hand in a notebook because my well meaning husband who works with computers has a theory that screens near your face/body will delay getting better when you are sick. So over 40 handwritten pages written while stuck in bed. Hence I do not take responsibility if I went completely off the rails with this one, I plead temporary insanity.

2. The original idea came to me when I was talking with my niece (now 26) about when she had me or her uncle or her dad take her to the bookstore for the midnight releases of the Harry Potter books. She is a writer and we talked about how the books just took off and became crazy popular so quickly with the movies following and costumes and all the merchandising. I thought what if Sarah had done that with a book about the Labyrinth? A step further what if Jareth did not know about it and was faced costumed versions of himself?

3. Of course I could not stop there. Last summer I went to a bachelorette party where the bride to be was a huge Star Wars fan, so her sister found 2 male strippers oh excuse me exotic dancers that dressed as Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. So I took that idea and ran with it.

The result? This Halloween crazy train that you see before you.

I want to give a big thank you to my beta RMBiehl: you had to deal with me as I was writing this thing long hand while sick. Then you had to try to make that gibberish make sense. That could not have been fun for you. You are the best.

I will be honest I was debating actually putting this up but my beta told me I better. Also the ending was not originally there. I asked my beta if I should add a lemon ending and she encouraged it. So I guess that part is all her fault.

So here it is and I hope you enjoy my little Halloween offering. Please leave a review to let me know what you think.

Jareth, the King of the Goblins, stood in front of the full-length mirror in his bed chamber. He was checking his appearance for the fifth time. Nodding in approval, he smiled, turned away, and walked out the door and into the hallway. One of the castle goblins hurried up to him and started bouncing when he saw what the king was wearing.

"New wisher? Is it a baby? Can I go get the baby?" he asked expectantly, hoping for a fun new playmate for a few hours at least.

"No, Scuttle, no wisher tonight, I hope," he said. "I am going Above to enjoy the Samhain festivities with the Lady Sarah and young Master Toby." The Goblin King did not break stride as he talked and poor Scuttle had to follow along, keeping up the best he could.

Suddenly, the little goblin stopped short and looked at the back of the disappearing king in confusion. "Lady knows Kingy goin' lookin' like that?" Scuttle asked of the now empty hallway not sure if the king was aware of how he looked.

Entering the throne room, Jareth stopped short. There was someone sitting on his throne. He took a breath and closed his eyes for a moment in order to keep from bogging the imposter immediately.

He needed him tonight, Jareth had to remind himself as he took another deep cleansing breath. He was still not sure if these "emotional stability" techniques that Sarah kept insisting he try were working or not. He still thought bogging or sticking those who annoyed him in an oubliette was quicker and easier.

"Just what do you think you are doing, Hogwart?" he asked, pinching the bridge of his nose with one hand.

Hoggle, not hearing the king's arrival, jumped out of the throne so quickly that he almost fell flat on his face. He recovered and tried to stand up as straight as he could. "Yer Majesty," he said hastily. "What a nice surprise. I didn't hear you come in."

"Obviously," Jareth all but snorted. "Hoggle, if I did not need your worthless hide, I would tip you..."

"I know…I know," Hoggle interrupted. "...head first into the Bog of Eternal Stench. You need some new material," Hoggle said, recovering from his reaction to the Goblin King's unexpected arrival. "And the name's Hoggle!"

"Your name will be Miasma if you aren't careful," Jareth corrected.

Hoggle sighed. This was the end of his bravery. He did not believe that Jareth would actually bog him. If Jareth actually did bog him for something minor, Sarah would be upset. Hoggle had no problem tattling to Sarah. He had done it before. He was sure that the king did not want to risk Sarah's ire.

"Now Higgle," Jareth ignored the correction of the dwarf's name. "You are here to babysit the goblins and to make sure nothing is blown up or set on fire while I am gone. I expect this place to look exactly the same when I return." Jareth turned to leave after giving what were, in his opinion, thorough instructions.

"Now wait a minute," Hoggle called just as the first few flakes of glitter started drifting in the air.

"Now what, I do not want to be late meeting Sarah and Toby," Jareth complained, looking at the dwarf in annoyance.

"Did ya forget yer glamor?" Hoggle asked, happy that he could correct Jareth on something.

"Is that all?" Jareth rolled his eyes. "It is Samhain. I will fit right in, of that I have no doubt. Anything else?" he asked.

The dwarf shook his head. This time more glitter flew around the throne room, and when it had cleared, the Goblin King was gone. Hoggle looked at the shiny mess on the floor. "Well, I'm not cleanin' up his mess," he said to himself.

Sarah and Toby waited by the stone obelisk in the park near their house. They watched as volunteers moved around, setting up for the town's Halloween bonfire. It was set to start once the trick-or-treat times ended and was a big deal. Pretty much everyone in the entire town showed up. Sarah glanced at her watch as Toby bounced from foot to foot.

"When's he gonna get here, Sarah?" he asked impatiently. "We are missing trick or treat time. I got a whole pillowcase to fill."

"I am sure he will be here soon, Toby," Sarah reassured him. "Remember, time doesn't work exactly the same where he is. He also has a lot of responsibilities that can take his time and come up unexpectedly."

She laughed at the pout that she was sure was underneath the green plastic mask. "Besides, I am sure that your sack will be full of sweets no matter when we start," she told him. "By your own efforts or through Jareth's magic," she added to herself.

"Waiting for someone?" a smooth, slightly accented voice interrupted the siblings. Toby spun around to see the Goblin King in full regalia slip around the monument to stand directly behind him.

"Jareth!" Toby called and threw his arms around the king.

"Hello Tobias," he said, returning the boy's exuberant hug. He caught Sarah's eye over the boy's head.

"Happy Samhain, Sarah," he said.

"Remember, it's called Halloween here among the heathens," she said with a smile of greeting.

"It matters not," Jareth said and shrugged.

Toby had unwound himself from Jareth's middle and looked at the two adults. "Can we go trick or treating now?" he asked, not being able to contain himself one more minute.

"Lead on, Tobias," Jareth told him and then took a good look at the boy. "Just why are you green, young man?"

"I'm Michelangelo, Cowabunga dude!" he said and took off, out of the park and toward a neighborhood of houses.

Jareth looked at Sarah just as confused as when he asked the question, if not more so after that answer. Sarah giggled at his expression. "Ninja Turtles," she explained and got the same look. "It's a cartoon character." The look did not change. "It's a kid thing." She left it at that and started walking in the direction that Toby had taken, Jareth walking at her side.

"Here possibly," Jareth said, still more than a bit bewildered.

Sarah laughed and walked along beside Jareth for a while, following in Toby's excited wake. As they walked, Sarah thought back to how this was even possible. She was walking side by side with her childhood villain, supervising Toby while he went trick or treating. She was still amazed at how easily it all came about.

About a year after she had returned, she had called for her friend Sir Didymus through her vanity mirror. She was surprised when not only the knight but also the Goblin King appeared in the mirror. She squeaked and tried to end the communication, but before she could, Jareth surprised her by asking her to wait a minute.

Sarah had always been fascinated with Jareth. Out of all the stories she had ever read, he was the only character that she thought about again and again. After coming face to face with him and the Labyrinth, her interest only grew. Not only did her interest grow, but it changed from a villain to be feared to, well, she wasn't sure what, but fear wasn't the emotion he had started her feeling. So when he seemed to want to talk with her, Sarah could not resist.

While awkward at first, the two of them ended up talking for more than an hour. She felt bad that she wasn't more attentive to Sir Didymus. He was the one that she had called to talk to, but he did not seem put off by it one bit. He seemed happy to sit back and let her talk to the king. He even encouraged her to call Jareth more often to talk, just the two of them.

This led to many more conversations between the two of them. Before she knew it, they had forged a friendship. She ended up talking with him at least twice a week, sometimes more. One day, they must have been talking or laughing a bit too loudly during a visit, because Toby opened her door and wondered who she was talking to in her bedroom.

Sarah froze in shock and worry, but then she was more surprised when Toby's face lit up at seeing Jareth and demanded, "Magic Dance!"

This led to Jareth having to tell Sarah more about Toby's time in his castle. After that, Toby decided he wanted to "talk to the king too". Sarah was amazed that a four-year-old could keep their friend a secret, but as far as she knew, Toby never told.

The next October, Toby, excited about Halloween, was going on and on about costumes, candy, and trick or treat. Jareth was very interested in the holiday. That was when Toby asked him to go trick or treating with him and Sarah.

While the idea of the Goblin King walking around the neighborhood full of unsuspecting children concerned Sarah, she needn't have worried. Jareth had been a wonderful companion. He was attentive to Toby, and his stories of the goblins' antics had Sarah laughing. It made the yearly trek around town much more enjoyable.

Thus it became a tradition for Jareth to go trick or treating with them. He did not need to use a glamor, since everyone was in costume. When he wore any of his usual outfits, he fit right in with the other revelers.

Once they were out of the park, the streets became more crowded, since trick or treating was in full swing by that time. All around them were the usual princesses, vampires, cartoon characters, and…oh damn, thought Sarah.

Sarah had just seen a miniature goblin king go racing by. "Crap," she thought. She had seen the costume in stores but didn't think about Jareth seeing kids dressed up like him. "Oh, well, maybe he won't notice," she thought.

The next thing she knew, a small boy dressed in gray leggings, a white shirt, and a cape covered with white and gray feather boas, jostled them as he ran in between them to get to the door of a house. His blond rockstar-esque wig almost fell off in his haste.

"Is that child supposed to be me?" Jareth asked in a puzzled voice.

"Are you looking forward to the bonfire?" Sarah asked him, ignoring his question and trying to change the subject and distract him.

"Bonfire…ah yes." Jareth forgot what he thought he saw. He started to enjoy thinking about spending more time with Sarah at the celebration. Jareth wanted to have an excuse to spend time with Sarah that didn't involve her brother or a piece of glass between them.

He had known for a while now that he had feelings for Sarah that were much deeper than the friendship they had now. She was finally old enough that she might appreciate or even reciprocate those feelings. Tonight, he might get the chance to find out.

They were going to drop Toby off at home after trick or treating, and they would then go to the bonfire together. He thought he might get a chance to talk to Sarah about how he was feeling. He hoped there might be a chance that she had feelings other than friendship for him too.

While they were waiting at the end of a driveway for Toby to finish getting treats from a house, they were interrupted by a teenage boy, who was standing next to them doing the same thing. The boy looked Jareth up and down critically.

"Hey, you didn't get that costume at the Megamart," he said. "Where did you get it? How much did you have to cough up for it?" He reached out and touched the leather on the breastplate that covered Jareth's chest. "Wow, that feels like real leather. And it is thick too. That must be the deluxe or ultra-deluxe model."

"You will refrain from touching my person," Jareth jerked away from him. "I have bogged others for less."

"Yeah, it is cool isn't it?" Sarah interjected before things could get ugly. "It's custom made, one of a kind." She was grateful when Toby came running over to show them the loot he had collected.

They walked to the next house, with Sarah pulling Jareth along. The latter was still looking over his shoulder at the teenage Goblin King who was still waiting at the end of the neighboring driveway.

"Do you know what that boy was talking about, or why he was dressed as a poor imitation of myself?" Jareth asked her.

"Um, yeah, that," Sarah nervously looked at the sidewalk under her feet. "Um, I'll explain it later at the bonfire," she hedged.

Jareth looked around and for the first time noticed that there were no less than six more goblin kings in various versions of his outfits that he had worn in the Labyrinth during Sarah's run. "I'll hold you to that, Sarah dear," he said.

Jareth had not thought about the fact that he had worn so many different types of clothing when Sarah was in the Labyrinth, from the casual, but dark all-black silk shirt and breeches, to the formal attire at the ball. He did not usually change clothing so often, but to be honest, he was trying to gauge her reaction to his choice of outfits. He was trying to see if any of them impressed or made him more attractive to her. He wasn't proud of it, but by the end of her run, he was getting desperate.

The rest of the trick-or-treat time went smoothly. Toby came home with a full bag of candy and was chatting away with Jareth, rating his hull and explaining the merits of one type of candy over another. Jareth seemed to be fascinated with what Toby was saying, and anyone who looked at them would think that the little boy was the most important person in Jareth's life at that moment. Sarah smiled at them, appreciating how great Jareth was with her brother.

Sarah walked along with them, just enjoying the cool evening and the company. Somewhere along the way, her hand brushed Jareth's. Somehow when they brushed their fingers entwined and they continued along holding hands. Sarah didn't want to overthink what it might mean if anything, but she had to admit it felt right.

Sarah dropped Toby off at home, and Jareth agreed to wait outside. Sarah emerged a short time later after listening to Karen tell Toby that he had brought home way too much candy, and assuring her that she did not let Toby eat any of it before it was checked. Together, they set off for the park and the bonfire. Sarah felt a little giddy when Jareth reached for her hand again as they walked.

The park was full when they arrived. There were teens and young adults just hanging around in groups. There were families with kids running around, many of them still in costumes. Couples of all ages sat and talked or snuggled together on benches or blankets. She expected to see her dad and Karen there later with Toby. They had promised to come, even if it meant Toby staying up a little later. Sarah argued that he would get a chance to burn off some excited energy. Looking down at their joined hands, she guessed that it might be time for them to meet Jareth.

Sarah's mind was on that possible meeting, so she missed the person running toward her and calling her name until she was practically on top of them. "Sarah!" the blonde yelled near her ear that finally got her attention.

"Nancy!" Sarah replied. "What are you doing here?" she asked. "I thought you had a…thing," she said, glancing at Jareth.

"I do, that's why I am here," Nancy said breathlessly from running. "Evan stood me up. I'm here trying to find someone who wants to earn a quick buck and step in. I just need a guy who can at least sway and can fit into the outfit. I have a Johnny Castle, an Indiana Jones, and a Goblin King…" she broke off, noticing Jareth for the first time, and she just stared at him open-mouthed.

"Hell-o, and who is this? Sarah, I believe you have been holding out on me," she said with raised eyebrows.

"Nance, this is my friend um…" Sarah wasn't sure exactly how to introduce or explain Jareth.

"My name is Jareth," the Goblin King added when it did not look as if Sarah was going to continue the introduction.

"You most certainly are," Nancy said, eyeing him up and down. "Jareth, the Goblin King," she said pointedly to Sarah. "Now this explains a lot."

"Nice seeing you, Nance, but aren't you looking for someone?" she reminded her friend not subtly, trying to get rid of her.

"Yeah, I was," Nancy said slowly, "and I think I may have found him." She gave Jareth another look with a wide smile on her face.

"Nancy, no!" Sarah started to argue, but her friend plunged in, ignoring her.

"So Jareth, do you like to dance?" Nancy asked him.

"Why yes, Nancy, was it?" At her nod, he continued. "Sarah can tell you I am a very skilled dancer."

"Jareth, you don't know what you are talking about," Sarah tried to put the brakes on the conversation.

"Relax Sarah, he's a big boy." The blonde eyed him up and down appreciatively. "So Jareth, you want to show off some of those dance moves and some of that skin you are hiding under that leather and earn some quick cash at a party? You do like to party, right?"

"Oh, most definitely, my kind is known to throw quite a party," Jareth was warming to the topic of conversation while Sarah groaned.

"Your kind? What are you one of those frat boys? Oh well, it doesn't matter, as long as you look just as good under that leather as you do right now," she said dismissively. "You don't mind if things get a bit risqué do you?" she asked. "You know, maybe losing some of the excess clothing?" Nancy pressed a bit, getting excited.

"Oh, I assure you that parties I throw would make any of yours look quite tame by comparison,' Jareth told her smugly, ignoring Sarah's attempts to get his attention.

"Perfect, you're hired," Nancy declared. "Murray was going to be the Goblin King, but you look much better. I've got stuff in the van, he can find something else to wear, and be someone else tonight," she said, urging them out of the park.

"Nancy!" Sarah practically screamed. When the blonde glanced over her shoulder, she continued. "He has no idea what you are talking about. He is not from around here."

"Chill, Sarah, I heard the accent. I am sure they have exotic dancers in England too. He will be fine. If he decides it is too much, he doesn't have to do anything," Nancy said with a wave.

"I don't know how exotic my dance moves might be, but Sarah assures me that they are quite remarkable." Jareth wondered why Sarah was worried about his dancing ability. She had seen his skills on the dance floor firsthand, and she had seen him sing and dance the Magic Dance song to Toby through the mirror.

Sarah finally decided to give up. No one was listening to her anyway. Jareth would just have to find out on his own. She just wondered what kind of reaction he would give when he found out what being one of Nancy's featured dancers meant.

There was a part of her that definitely did not want him to do this. In fact, as she followed the pair out of the park where Nancy's van was parked on a side street, she saw her friend slip her arm around Jareth's waist and steered him to it. She suddenly had the desire to rip her friend's arm off. "Wow," thought Sarah, "that's new, where did that come from?" Her possessiveness where Jareth was concerned surprised her, but it was probably because of what Nancy wanted Jareth to do.

Sarah realized that she was lagging behind, and she sped up, not wanting to leave Jareth alone with Nancy. While she was walking, several thoughts were tumbling around in her head. Was she attracted to Jareth? Well, of course she was. You would have to be dead not to be attracted to Jareth. She had been attracted to others before, but none of them made her want to physically hurt a possible rival for them. Especially when that girl was arguably one of her closest friends.

"Crap," she thought. "I really am falling for Jareth, aren't I?" For the last few years, they had been friends. She was happy with that, wasn't she? Getting emotionally involved with Jareth who lived in another world could only be a mistake, wouldn't it? Not only that, he was a fae and an actual fairy tale king. This would give new meaning to a long-distance relationship.

Also, while they had never discussed each other's romantic involvements, she was sure he had many, way more than she had. Again, I mean look at him. She sighed. Nothing kills a friendship faster than one-sided feelings. She should know. She had lost a lot of guy friends that way when they wanted more than friendship from her.

With a grim determination, she decided not to think about it. The last thing she wanted to do was throw herself at him. That would be embarrassing. She was sure he thought of her still as a young girl. Of course most of her thoughts about him lately were decidedly adult. She sighed, thinking that as much as she wanted to see him with less on, she hoped it would be in a more private setting.

When she got to the van, Nancy was already barking orders, "Murray, you're out as Goblin King, grab the white robe and the shorter blonde wig. You can be Luke, but don't forget the lightsaber," she said. "And no I don't mean that one. We aren't licensed for full frontal, and what you are packing isn't enough to risk it."

They loaded in the van, and Sarah stuck close to Jareth. He looked uneasy, but she was the only one who knew why. This was Jareth's first time in a car of any kind. Nancy misinterpreted it as cold feet. "Look, you don't have to do this if you don't want to," she reminded him. "But I can guarantee that you will be a hit with the ladies. I am sure you will rake in the tips."

Jareth shot a questioning look at Sarah, who thought for a moment and then said, "If they like how you…move, they will slip you some money."

"This seems an unusual practice at a party, but you have told me that some of my people's practices are unusual where you are concerned. I guess I should expect some of yours to be just as foreign to me," he said.

Sarah noticed that he had grabbed and was holding her hand. She glanced down at them and wondered, did he really mean anything by it, or was he merely nervous about riding in the van? Hell, she was nervous about riding in Nancy's van, whether she was driving it or not.

Looking around, Sarah noticed that the back of the van was full. This seemed unusual. "Hey Nance, what's going on?" she asked. "I thought that you only booked one or two performers for a job." She did a quick head count. "Why is everybody here?"

"Big money bachelorette party," Nancy answered. "In one of the McMansions on the outskirts, it has a ballroom with a stage, and an area backstage that we can use, the works. We're all making bank on this one. It will pay for a chunk of next semester. When they get a load of the beefcake you dropped in my lap, especially with the authentic look, I am going to try to renegotiate for more money."

Nancy gave a hard look at her friend. "I've never seen a better Goblin King, and you know I keep a lookout for good costumes I could use or make. Level with me, Sar, the look is uncanny, he had to be your inspiration for the book right?"

Jareth glanced over at Sarah, "I was not aware that I was talked about so casually here," he said and then remembered. "You have not told me why there are so many dressed as a poor imitation of myself? I do not remember seeing this in my other visits here during Samhain."

Nancy heard part of Jareth's questions and jumped in, "You mean you aren't the inspiration for the book?" she asked incredulously. "I mean, as soon as it was published it blew up. Everyone who has read it either is in lust with or wants to be her villain, the Goblin King. As soon as I advertised having a Goblin King, it became my most requested. I've been thinking of investing in a second Goblin King outfit, the feathers might get messy so maybe that tunnel costume with the leather jacket, that one could come off easily." Nancy seemed to be talking to herself and trailed off, lost in thought.

Jareth looked from Nancy to Sarah. "Care to explain further, Sarah?" he asked.

"Not particularly," Sarah answered, but at his look, she added, "I will…I promise…later."

"No, I think we have time now," Jareth insisted.

Sarah sighed and looked around. Even in the crowded van everyone seemed to be engaged talking with each other and no one seemed to be paying any attention to them.

"When I was in my senior year, I was taking a creative writing class," Sarah began. We needed to write an original fairy tale or put our own spin on one. Well, I wrote a story about a magical land that was ruled by the Goblin King."

Jareth's eyes narrowed. "How did that turn into little people dressed as me?"

"I'm getting there. Well, it was a story about a girl who was sent to this magical land and had to solve a bunch of puzzles to go home. While she was there she fell in love with the Goblin King, and he loved her too. She could not stay, however, she was young, and they were too different, so she solved the last puzzle and went home. But she dreamed about the king, whom she wanted but had left behind."

Jareth looked at her curiously. "That seems not like most children's fairy stories."

Nancy stepped in obviously at least half listening to what they were saying. "Nope, it is definitely YA leaning to more adult themes. Sarah is glossing over it. The girl was hot for the king, but was too afraid to tell him. "

"Thank you for that, Nance," Sarah remarked. "No, and it was different enough that my English teacher wanted it published in a literary magazine. Somehow, a publisher saw it and offered me a book deal. A year later, it was in print and somehow became a bestseller. This year there were costumes in stores for some of the characters."

"Don't forget they want you to write a sequel, and two studios want the movie rights," Nancy reminded her. Then she brightened up by getting another idea.

"Hey, Sarah, I got a white dress back there," Nancy looked over at her. "It is really not fancy enough, and his outfit doesn't match the scene from the book, but I don't think anyone would care. Want to put it on, join in, and make some cash?"

"Hell no!" Sarah said immediately. When you came up with this crazy idea, I told you to leave me out of it. You've watched Risky Business too much."

"Hey, all I do are exotic dancers for private functions, all legal," Nancy told her. "It's too bad, you've got a pretty good bod. I could have charged them a pretty penny for the two of you." Nancy shrugged.

The van turned and after another minute stopped. The door opened and everyone piled out. The driver, another girl, handed a clipboard to Nancy. She looked it over and made a few notes on a page.

"Ok," the blonde was all business now. "Wait here, I am going up there to see what's what. We will do all the theme music for the dances starting with Indy, remember your whip. Then Luke Skywalker. There is not much to take off so go slow and tease a little this time. Johnny Castle and his monkey suit will come next. Channel your inner Swayze, and we will finish with our new and improved Goblin King. No theme song, since the movie isn't out yet so play something no one will care what is playing when they get a look at him." The guys minus Jareth nodded. Sarah looked worried.

"Cindy, come with me and set up the music and stuff. I need to discuss the changes and get us paid. Then I'll take you up so we can line you guys up to go on." She waved and the girls disappeared around the large house.

The other guys walked around the van to adjust costumes or grab a smoke, and Jareth and Sarah were left relatively alone. Sarah decided that while leaving Jareth in the dark had been fun, she was feeling guilty and figured she should let him know what he was in for as part of Nancy's entertainment. Hopefully, he would decide not to do it.

"Jareth," she started touching his arm to get his attention. "You need to know that Nancy is not talking about regular dancing. Not like in a ballroom, not like in a club even."

"Oh, Sarah, I am familiar with all kinds of dancing. Not just formal dances, just ask your brother," he answered.

"Toby? What would Toby know about anything?" she asked. Then she remembered who she was talking to. "Forget it, Jareth, the dancing that Nancy is talking about is called exotic to be nice, but there is more than you realize," Sarah tried to explain.

"I am sure it is," Jareth interrupted. "Many of your customs seem exotic to me, as I am sure some of mine would seem that way to you."

Sarah was about to try again when Nancy came striding back. "Ok boys, we are a go. Let me look at you," She looked around and saw that there were some of her guys missing. "Put the ciggies out and get your tight asses over here," she said louder.

She gave a critical eye at Jareth once more. "Oh, I forgot to ask. What are you wearing under there?" she asked. "Usually the guys go for the old banana hammock, but if you are shy, a small speedo will do, I have both if necessary."

Jareth was not sure what she was saying and glanced at Sarah, who was looking at him and trying to explain what Nancy had just said. They were distracted with each other and did not notice the blonde reaching for the waist of Jareth's breeches. Before either could stop her, she got an eyeful of what the Goblin King was packing.

"OH, MY GOD," she almost squealed. The sound brought the other guys around the van quickly. "I don't think I have anything that will cover that…and legally, I don't think I can let any of you guys go full frontal."

Sarah was not sure what Jareth was thinking, but she needed to do something. She grabbed his hand and pulled him back around the van. "Sarah, why did your friend feel that she could touch me in that manner?"

"Oh, now yeah, usually it would not be appropriate, but in this case, she was talking about underwear, you know something to cover you under your clothes," Sarah said.

"Why do you need something more? The clothing I wear covers me quite sufficiently," Jareth reasoned.

"Yeah, you keep thinking that with those pants you wear," Sarah muttered.

"Jareth, you really need to listen to me…You are expected to go out in front of a bunch of drunk, sex-crazed women and take your clothes off while dancing. The guys take everything off except for a pair of teeny tiny underwear. From Nancy's reaction, you aren't wearing any, not that I should be surprised about that. You don't want to do that, so let's just say no, ok?" she said a little more forcefully than she wanted. She was surprised, but the closer they got to showtime the less she wanted Jareth to do it.

The feeling was close to jealousy, but she had no idea why. At first, she was entertained at the idea of seeing Jareth take it off, but now that the time was here, she really didn't want him to do it.

"I can probably take care of the problem by conjuring something for myself," Jareth told her. He looked at her closely. "If you have no objections other than that, I did offer my services to your friend. It would be rude not to, and," he leaned over and whispered in her ear, "I'm not shy."

He walked back around the van, leaving Sarah standing there. "I figured that, but I kinda hoped you were," she muttered and then followed.

They all trooped into the house, and Nancy checked the clipboard and lined them up behind a curtain that was set up. "There is a raised area for a stage on the other side of the curtain. You do your thing there. When your number is over, you can start heading through the crowd to get your tips. The women know that there is no touching or grabbing, but shit happens sometimes. Yell if they get too handsy," she told them. "I will be watching, and Cindy will run the music and collect your clothes for the next act. We will start the next number three minutes after the previous one ends, so mingle quickly for your cash."

Nancy nodded to Cindy, and she pushed a button on the stereo system that was set up. Music blared out, and the sound of talking stopped. Nancy suddenly had a microphone in her hand and introduced the first act with an innuendo about not fearing Indy's snake.

One of the guys dressed in a leather coat and fedora stepped through the curtain to cat calls and cheering. Sarah felt a panic starting to take hold. Jareth really wasn't going to do this, was he? She wrung her hands and looked at Jareth, who seemed so calm.

After the next guy went on with a change to the music, Sarah started pacing. She couldn't let him do this. How was she going to stop him? What was she going to say? These thoughts kept going through her head when the music stopped. There were loud hoots and more catcalls.

The next song started, and Sarah looked around. She realized that there was no one left "backstage" and Jareth was next. She looked at him, and he still seemed unconcerned. If she didn't do anything, she realized everyone out there would see Jareth in a way that made her feel sick to her stomach.

Once the music ended and Cindy walked out, Sarah knew it was her last chance. Jareth looked like he was prepared to go through the curtain, and Cindy would be back any second. Sarah made up her mind and ran over to him, "Stop, don't do it!" Sarah said forcefully, putting her arms around Jareth.

"Sarah, what are you doing?" Jareth asked, looking down at her plastered to him.

"Don't do it…just don't…I don't want you to," Sarah insisted, not letting go.

"Why?" The single-word question echoed the one that had been going through her head for the last half hour.

Sarah swallowed. She knew why, and she decided she just needed to say it and see what happened. "I don't want you to go out and take off your clothes in front of a bunch of women. I don't want anyone seeing you like that…well, nobody but me."

Jareth stepped back, and she was forced to loosen her hold and look up at him. "What are you saying, Sarah?" he asked her. Sarah thought that his gaze seemed to penetrate her down to her soul.

"I am saying that the thought of anyone else seeing you even a little bit naked makes me feel crazy jealous. I know we aren't together, and I have no right to feel that way, but I do. I want you for myself," Sarah said and closed her eyes not having the courage to see the look after he heard her words.

Jareth smiled. Since they had gotten to know each other, he was certain that he had fallen in love with his champion. She had never given a hint that she felt anything more than a friendly affection for him though. Now it looked as if she was feeling something for him as well.

Hearing footsteps coming their way, Jareth leaned over and whispered in her ear, "If you would want to leave and make this a private party for just us two, you know what to say."

Sarah opened her eyes and looked into his, which were filled with hope and longing. She smiled and tightened her grip saying, "I wish the Goblin King would take me away, right now,"

Cindy walked around the curtain and saw nothing but a shower of glitter in the air.

Once the sliding, disorienting feeling of being magically transported wore off, Sarah found herself in a dark room. It was so dark that she could only make out vague shapes as she peered around Jareth's shoulder. Jareth turned her to one side, keeping his right arm around her and waving his left hand. At his movement, a large fireplace across the room roared to life. The soft glow from the fire illuminated the room without it being harsh.

Unsurprisingly, she found herself in a large bedroom. There were several pieces of heavy dark masculine wooden furniture. The most prominent piece was the supersized bed on a raised platform in the middle of the room. She swallowed reflexively. When she said what she did, she knew where this was going. She wanted this, of that she had no doubt. So where did this unease come from? Then the thought hit her. What would Nancy and the others think when they noticed that she and Jareth had just disappeared?

As soon as the thought entered her head, they immediately left when Jareth leaned his head down and captured her lips with his. It was their first kiss, but it was not hesitant or awkward like most of the first kisses she shared with others. As soon as their lips touched, passion exploded between them.

Sarah slid her hands up over his chest, disappointed that with the clothing between them she was not able to feel his body beneath her hands, and wrapped them around his neck, her fingers tangling in his hair. At the slight tug of her hands in his hair, Jareth increased the pressure of the kiss, urging her lips to part under his. She willingly complied, welcoming his tongue and giving him hers.

Jareth knew that things were moving fast, much faster than he had anticipated. The combination of her scent and taste along with the soft moans she was making were urging him on. Before he could get completely taken over by the inferno that he was aware was blazing higher and higher, he ripped his mouth from hers. Both of them were breathing heavily, and Sarah unconsciously moved her head, her mouth searching for his. As much as he wanted to comply, he needed to make sure that this was truly what she wanted before it got too far and neither of them would be able to stop.

"Sar-ah," he breathed her name with a groan. "If this is not what you want tonight, if you need us to stop, I need you to tell me now. I want you so badly." He pulled her tight against his hardening body. "But I need to know that you want this too."

Jareth had said the words, but he wondered what he would do if she was having second thoughts. He wanted her so much, never in all his experiences had he been overtaken by desire like this, not since his first experiences with the physical act more years ago than he wanted to think about.

Jareth found he was holding his breath, looking down at her, waiting for her answer. Sarah's brain was foggy, and she was not sure she wanted it to be clear; she didn't want to think, she only wanted to feel. Jareth was stoking a fire in her that was threatening to take her over, and she welcomed it. As much as she tried not to, Jareth was insisting on an answer, and he deserved it to be an honest one. For her to do that, she had to surface enough to think clearly.

He saw her eyes clear and knew that her answer was coming. Sarah smiled softly at him, "I want this, Jareth. I want this so much. I want you."

Her words caused his body to surge again, and he took her lips with his in another searing kiss. Keeping one arm around her, he lowered the other one behind her knees, and he scooped her into his arms. In a couple of strides, he had her beside the bed, his mouth still latched onto hers.

He put her down, sliding her body down his. Once her feet hit the floor, he reached down and grabbed the bottom of her shirt and in one motion lifted it over her head, dropping it on the floor beside them. She toed off her sneakers as his lips moved from her mouth to her jaw and then down her neck, and his hands reached behind her to unhook her black lace bra.

The bra dropped, and he moved his mouth down to the nipple he wanted to kiss. Once his mouth closed over the taut nipple, it hardened even more between his lips. "Jareth," Sarah moaned at the contact.

"Yes, Sarah, I want to hear you say my name. I want you to associate my name with what we are doing. I want to hear you screaming it by the time we are done," his voice was rough with passion.

With his lips on her breasts and her hands in his hair, pulling his head tighter against him, Jareth moved his own hands to the waistband of her jeans. He made quick work of the button and zipper and slid them down her legs, along with the underwear she wore beneath them. Once she was standing bare before him, Jareth lifted his head from the breasts he had been shifting between and looked her body up and down.

Lifting her in his arms once again, he laid her gently on the soft duvet that covered the huge bed. Looking at her laying beautiful and nude on his bed caused his body to rage, and he feared he would finish right then, something that had never happened before. Not wanting to waste another second, he waved his hand, and his clothing disappeared.

He got onto the bed and crawled up over her body. His mouth moved from her feet up to her mouth once again as he moved up the bed. He knew it was going too fast. Jareth told himself to slow down. To make it last for her, but when his hand reached between them and felt between her folds and felt how wet and ready for him she was, he was lost.

He removed his fingers from inside her and brought both hands to either side of her face cradling it, his weight resting on his arms. Using his legs he parted her and settled between them.

"Look at me, Sarah," he almost growled.

Sarah opened her green eyes and they met his blue ones. Once that happened, he was inside her in one deep thrust. The sudden invasion into her body caused her body to bow, and she tore her mouth from his and cried his name "Jareth!"

Jareth started a pounding rhythm inside her. He knew it was going to be hard and fast and regretted not taking his time with her. Next time, he promised himself and her silently. The next time, he would take his time, he would linger over her, but right now he was chasing an orgasm that was threatening to consume him.

Moving hard and fast, he thrust into her. Sarah, not one to lay there passively wrapped her legs around his waist and pulled him deeper inside her. Her nails racked his back and grabbed at his ass. He knew there would be scratches left behind, but he did not care.

His mouth moved down her neck to her breasts and back up again. And Sarah kept repeating his name over and over again. Her head moved side to side on the pillow, her hips thrusting up to meet his powerful strokes.

Jareth knew he was close. He wouldn't be able to hold on much longer but was determined that she would come with him. Reaching down, he found her clit, and he used his fingers to rub and circle it, stimulating her even more. The effect was almost instantaneous. Her walls grabbed onto him, pulling him deeper inside her.

Jareth felt her start to shake, and he moved his lips from her breasts to the side of her neck. He bit down lightly, not enough to break the skin, but enough to leave a mark. That pressure pushed her over the edge, and she came with a scream of his name that tore from her mouth in a keening cry. The feel of her getting impossibly tight around him, along with her cry of ecstasy, pulled him over the edge with her.

Afterward, they lay together, their bodies joined, their legs and arms tangled around each other. Jareth listened to her breathing still hard and fast. He held her tight, letting her know that he was there to keep her together, that she was safe. Her breathing began to slow and settle, but he was reluctant to move, so he kept them just as they were, and Sarah seemed happy to stay just as she was.

He knew that there were things that needed to be said. There were decisions that would have to be made. That what had just happened had changed everything between them. Yes, there were words that needed to be said, but there would be time for that later. Right now, all he wanted was to hold her in his arms and feel her body against his and bask in the joy he felt with her.

A/N:

And just when you thought it was over. Hey I thought it was over until I put a snippet of this twisted tale on a post with the LFFL facebook group. My friend saw it and commented that she could not wait to see what happened when Hoggle was babysitting the goblins. Uh yeah me too since I did nothing with that part of the story. I explained this, and she suggested trying to add it in somewhere. Well there really was no good place for it so I wrote a stand-alone one shot that tells the story of what happened after Jareth left and Hoggle was in charge of the goblins. It is Hoggle's Halloween Babysitting Adventure so AngelGlass this one's for you. Please take the time to read it if you liked this one. Don't forget to review.
