Fairy Tail Clubhouse 9:50pm
The Fairy Tail Club wasn't just an ordinary bar, but the highlight of the entire city. This large, black-brick building was a few stories tall however, only the top floor had windows. A red carpet was laid out front leaving only a single entryway, heavily guarded by several bouncers. Despite the tight entryway, people still came and went in large crowds, making it really easy to see everyone's faces.
Two girls came around the corner, smiling and laughing together and they were both dressed up to party the night away. Lucy wore a long, blue satin v-cut dress. The top half sparkled with tiny crystal like stones, trailing down the v-cut that was perfectly shaping out her large breasts. The crystals faded as it trailed down to her hips and left the bottom half partially loose with tiny ruffles on the bottom. The shoes she wore had thin pumps almost like stilettos. They almost matched her blue dress but it shimmered with pale gold stones around the straps, curling around her thin pale ankles. Her long golden hair laid loose with tiny curls on the bottom for the extra bounce, courtesy of her favorite hairdresser.
Levy wore an orange-copper toned satin dress, reaching only to the back of her knees. It was a simple design, but still laid smoothly around her tiny figure with a ruffle like bow tied on the backside. Her Blue hair bounced lightly, but stood out beautifully with the orange ribbon hanging loosely on the side of her head; keeping only a bit of her small hair bangs in the front of it.
Upon reaching the Clubs entrance, Lucy eyed the bouncers carefully, looking for the couple of guys she knew who normally stood outside.
"You think they're working shifts today?...I forgot to call up Mira earlier" Lucy folded her arms under her chest loosely while holding her tiny purse to the side.
"They should be, I've called up Cana earlier about that. Elfman and Laxus should be out front." Levy moved her head over the roped-fencing next them.
Lucy bit her lip and continued scanning the crowd before taking notice of a large, muscled man in front of the crowd. His white spiked hair was really hard to miss despite the mass of people but, his height is what basically gave him away, being abnormally taller than most men.
"Oh! There's Elfman over there!" Lucy tapped Levy's shoulder to look over to where she was pointing. The Blunette smiled and shouted out-loud to the man.
"Elfman over here!" she waved frantically and grabbed Lucy's arm to drag her over to the front of the group.
The girls stuttered to a stop while regaining their composure. The handful of people behind them huffed and glared as they cut in line front of them.
"Elfman! Nice to see you tonight!" Levy smiled up at the large man who was making sure everyone kept in line. Lucy grimaced while feeling the stabbing eye daggers being shot at the both of them.
Elfman looked down to see the two dolled up girls smiling up at him, "Hey, good to see you two ladies again. here to see Nee-chan?" Another large man came up from behind him and tapped his shoulder. This guy was almost as big as Elfman but slightly less broad on the shoulders. His blonde spiked hair shined brightly from the lights behind him. Despite the small scar by his eye, he is considerably handsome, even with the lack of emotion on his face.
"Mira and Cana said those guys are going to be here again and shall be escorted to the VIP room" Laxus mumbled to Elfman. The white haired male nodded.
"Yeah, we're here to see everyone and also, we're celebrating tonight" Lucy chimed in quickly, slightly wondering what the whispering was about. Laxus glanced down at the two girls and huffed before unhooking the rope in front of them.
"Just go in already, we're about to get real busy" the blonde man said before glaring at the people to back off from the two girls behind them. "They're working bar tonight if you're looking for them" without another glance, the two girls quickly shuffled in and Laxus re-hooked the clasp behind them.
"Thanks guys!" Levy and Lucy said in unison before swiftly walking inside.

It doesn't seem to matter how many times they come to visit this place, it always awestruck them how loud and beautiful the inside decor is. The neon lights are streaming across the dance floor with a stage centered in the back of the large open room with its own set of lights pointed towards the DJ. Rows of cushioned seats were lining the walls with mahogany tables neatly centered between each couch like a box-in. The bar was opposite of the stage, trimmed in white lights and glasses hanging above. Shelves of drinks and alcohol were stacked on the dark shelves behind the counters, all lined up like a rainbow from top to bottom. Above the first floor was an open second floor, only guarded by half walls of glass fencing. Between each glass divider had streams of low lights barely illuminating the floor and around the stairs that spiraled to the first floor. The music was loud, can literally feel the bass on and through your skin, becoming literally apart of the music itself. If not already accustomed to it, it can be a little overwhelming at first, but it did not make the experience any less. This club was top-notch for its time.
Levy hooked her arm through Lucy's and they both walked gracefully towards the smiling white-haired girl that was wearing a black doll-like poofy dress trimmed with pink on the edges. The woman was waving them over excitedly.
"Hello girls, nice to see you two tonight!"
"Hey Mira!" Lucy beamed as she took a stool by the Blunette.
Mira smiled and wiped the counter in front of them swiftly before laying down two small napkins, "Seeing how two are dressed, i take it something special is happening tonight?" her smile twisted to a near smirk while eyeing them both carefully.
Levy waved her hand quickly, "N-no its not what you think, remember i'm celebrating tonight! We're here to have a good time, right Lu-chan?"
Lucy took a sip of her strawberry daiquiri that was pushed towards her a moment ago, "Yep! Oh, i might've invited one more person but i haven't seen him yet" She gave a small smile before glancing at Levy who suddenly raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Who did you bring? You didn't tell me you invited someone, we could've waited" Levy sipped her drink while eyeing her friend.
"I-I mean, its not a big deal, he said he would come but he didn't pick up his phone since i left work earlier, maybe he just forgot?"
Mira slung the small bar towel over her shoulder and leaned forward towards Lucy, "Would that be him?" Pointing over to one of the boxed in seats that was close to the dance floor.
Both girls turned heads to where the woman was pointing. Lucy shook her head in disappointment and let out an exasperated sigh. In the seat was a finely dressed man with two women on both sides of him.
"hmph, he wastes no time does he?" Lucy's face turned a bit sour while hearing her friend giggle next to her.
"You invited Loke? How'd he rope you in this time Lu-chan?" Levy snickered at the slightly irritated blonde who continued to give the guy a stink eye.
"It's precisely this, that i wont ever go on a date with him. He loves women way too much to just stick with one." Lucy turned around and looked at Mira who was just humming while cleaning a wine glass. "I take it he told you i was meeting him here?"
"Of course, and i quote, 'My most enchanting blonde will be joining me tonight, I'll be in my usual spot' "
Lucy couldn't help but blush slightly, "Doesn't necessarily mean he was referring to me..."
"hm, yes but two came here together a few times before that you know. It only made sense. Now.." the white haired bartender placed the glass up above her before looking back at the exasperated blonde, "...are you going to keep the poor man waiting or should i call him over?"
Lucy huffed and looked at Levy who was far beyond entertained listening to the conversation. "Yeah Lu-chan, are you going to keep him waiting?"
"It's not a date!" Lucy whined and then mumbled, "...I only invited him again because i felt bad. He overheard us talking earlier at the office and asked me out...sort of...Its just kinda hard to leave him hanging, you know? He is after all one of my best friends, despite his constant flirtation. Its just who he is.." Lucy got off her stool and held her hand out to Levy, "This is our outing, so you're coming with me"
Levy grabbed her hand and they both quickly walked over to Loke's table. He glanced up from his dark shades to see two more women coming towards him. Loke quickly dismissed the two whining girls next to them, knowing they're getting replaced by another two.
"If you get bored with these two, you know where to find us handsome" the one women cooed while the other gave the other two girls a look over and huffed away with the other woman.
"Well aren't they charming" Lucy sighed and sat across from him and Levy tucked herself close to her.
Loke chuckled and folded his arms across his chest and slid back slightly, showing his black silk suit. The shirt underneath shimmered a light gold, with the first few buttons left open, revealing his bare chest underneath.
"I just want to admire you two for just a moment, don't mind me" snickering as he grabbed his glass and winked specifically at the blonde in front of him.
Levy shuffled slightly in discomfort, almost blushing while Lucy rolled her eyes and placed her purse down beside her hip. Ignoring his comment, Lucy looked at him, almost avoiding eye contact, "Ahem, anyway, Me and Levy are celebrating early for her new job coming soon. Which means she'll be around less at the office"
He placed his glass down and smiled towards the Blunette who seemed awfully distracted from the conversation as she kept eyeing the bar counter.
"Well, then i must Congratulate you as well Levy-chan, good to see you've landed your dream job i presume?"
Levy squeaked as she quickly looked back at the guy in front of her, nodding, "Yeah, i can't wait to be honest. I've been trying my darnedest to appease the staff there. I especially want to see the kinds of books they keep hidden in the restricted section, usually the best stuff is kept under guard mostly due to the rules of public access to delicate information." The blunette shuffles forward more as she got more excited about the topic, glancing towards Lucy a bit, "They even have some magic books back there that's been removed from public access years ago. It made me kind of sad, but i guess from a political stand point it made sense. but now...!" she grins ear to ear, "I should be able to have access to all of them, assuming i get on their good side, you know?"
(Jung Yong Hwa - Last Leaf)
The music in the background got quieter to a slow dance phase. Lucy watched from the corner of her eye, all the couples dancing with their loved ones. She sighed, wondering if she'll ever be able to dance the night away with someone special. She glanced down towards the now empty glass in her hands, tuning out the current conversation unintentionally. It was when a warm hand brushed her fingers, she glanced up to see Loke observing her carefully,
"You alright Lucy? Something bothering you?"
Lucy blinked a few times and flinched her hand back, "It's nothing, I'm just uhm..." clearing her throat, the blonde looks nervously back to Levy, "...just thinking about some things that's all. So uhm, Levy..."
Loke smiled back at the blonde, "How about we go dancing for a little bit, Lucy?"
Lucy's brown eyes widened and lightly blushed, barely noticeable on her white skin, even with the lighting, you'd have to really look to notice it.
"Uh, sure?" smiling nervously before glancing at her friend for help. Levy smiled and patted her friend for encouragement, "Its fine Lu-chan, go dance, ill just go refill my drink back at the bar"
Not the answer she wanted but had to comply anyway, "Ill be back in a bit Levy"
Loke held out his hand towards the blonde and a small smile slipped onto his face as he watched the breathtaking dress shimmer under the lighting, hugging her hourglass figure perfectly. Finding it really hard to avert his eyes, he adjusted his glasses with this other hand to sidetrack himself a bit. Lucy took his hand and they slowly moved towards the dance floor with the other couples that were dancing slowly to the music.
Loke slid his hand towards her waistline while his other hand clasped her open hand gently. They're bodies moved closely together, but not touching. They swayed slowly to the music that played, not catching a beat off. He looked down at the girl in front of him, her eyes seemed to be lingering elsewhere and her ears were tinted pink.
"You seem awfully distracted tonight, Lucy" he whispered, but knowing she heard him, her brown eyes twinkled up at him. Her cheeks were still slightly flushed but smiled gently anyway at him.
"It's just, the atmosphere, i guess. It's easy to get swayed by it" her eyes darted to the sheer amount of couples dancing around them.
"Ah, i see" he chuckled, "We can still fix that though..."
Lucy grumbled, "Leo..."
"I'm just teasing. However, if it makes you feel any better, it seems a certain blunette found herself some company as well"
Lucy quickly shifted her head to look behind them. Over at the bar, Levy was smiling up at a tall, black haired man, who looked way too intimidating to even approach.
"Is that Gajeel?"
"It is. I saw him a few times during some fieldwork. Not the most gentlemanly type if you ask me" Smirking down towards the blonde.
"Well it makes for one interesting topic to bring up later" Lucy snickered at all the possible questions she can throw at her friend soon.
(SIVIK - High)
The music picked up again and everyone started dancing differently to the music that started beating the bass back into the once cozy atmosphere. Lucy cleared her throat and slowly pulled away from Loke. He smiled sheepishly and placed his one hand behind his head.
"I take it you're done dancing then?"
"yep"
"...and there's no way i can convince you to keep dancing?" referring to the music that's playing loudly. All the women around them where moving they're bodies insinuating a very suggestive dance while the guys seemed to be enjoying themselves a little too much.
"Nope" she made an emphasis on the "p" and smiled as she turned around back towards their table. Loke chuckled and followed the girl back to the table. Lucy picked up her glass and sauntered over to the new set of lovebirds by the bar counter.
"Hey guys!" Lucy said a bit too enthusiastically. Levy nearly choked on her drink as she eyed her deviously smiling friend. Gajeel barely took notice of the incoming people, as he kept his eye on the petite girl next to him.
"They your friends, shorty?" he snorted behind his half filled glass of bourbon.
"HEY! i thought i told you to stop calling me short!" Levy huffed and switched her gaze at her two friends. "Enjoyed your dance you two?"
Lucy scoffed, "Yeah, i did, but not as much as watching you two snuggling over here" She watched her friends face change to all different shades of red.
Gajeel snickered and eyed the orange hair man behind her, "Yo shades, did you get the news about last night?"
Lucy glanced behind her to see Loke already leaning on the counter behind them, "Yeah, i heard about it. Did you guys get any new information on them yet?"
The blonde and Levy looked at each other confused, the blonde spoke up first, "Are you guys referring to the heist last night?"
Gajeel rolled his eyes and Loke cut in, "Yeah, uhm...about that, Gajeel" his eyes pointed him towards the end of the bar. The black haired man turned around to look, he noticed someone familiar sitting at the end of the counter. Narrowing his gaze, he scoffed, "Well I'll be, how'd he get in here?"
Lucy looked in the direction the guys were looking at and there was a man hunched over the countertop. His clothes hung loosely, but she couldn't help to notice his messy, spiked-salmon colored hair that hung loosely in front of him. It almost completely covered his face.
"Is he alright?" Lucy mumbled. Then a brunette came up from behind and spoke beside her, snickering at the blonde who was staring intently at the man in the corner.
"Should i introduce you guys?"
Lucy flinched and her eyes immediately shot towards the voice of her friend, "Cana, no! I was just wondering what the guys were talking about."
Levy sat by Lucy's other side that was next to Gajeel's seat, "Wasn't he here last week Cana?"
The Brunette smirked as she grabbed Gajeel's empty glass and started cleaning it quickly, "Yep, he sure was and let me tell you, that guy does not like getting bothered. I only let him in because our old man called in a favor. Let me tell you though..." she leaned in towards Lucy and Levy, "He's quite the looker if you're still interested though" she winked at them.
Levy immediately scoffed, "No way, i already have someone" Lucy and Cana shot her a look that immediately made the blunette regret her words.
"Hey shrimp, Me and the man here need to talk elsewhere, I'll catch you later"
Levy glared at him, "Fine, whatever..." she turned away from him quickly. The red eye man snickered before looking at the blonde.
"Gotta steal your date, bunny girl" Gajeel waved them off as he walked away with another glass of bourbon. Loke grimaced at Lucy and waved, "Sorry Lucy, got to cut our night short, I'll see you tomorrow?"
Lucy nodded and waved him off. Cana shook her head, "I didn't know you two were a thing, since when?"
The blonde glared, "We're not a thing!"
"But you guys looked so smitten on the dance floor"
"Cana, NO! Besides he isn't my type..."
Levy hid her giggles behind her hand, "He might not be your type Lu-chan but what about that guy over there? You looked awfully interested in him" referring to the pink haired man who was now missing.
Lucy looked around and her face scrunched, "Where did he go?"
Cana shifted her eyes around and shrugged, "He comes and goes, I wouldn't worry about him, but i can put in a word for you if want to leave a message" winking at the girl who still kept looking around.
"No, its fine" sighing as she pushes her untouched drink back towards Cana, "I should probably head home, it's already late and i have to get up in the morning for work anyway. Speaking of which, When's your interview Levy?"
Levy sipped the last of her drink, "Tomorrow afternoon, but i'm going to hang here a little longer. Get some sleep Lu-chan, you really need it. I know you've been working non stop all week"
Cana leaned in towards Lucy, "Should i call in a ride to take you home?"
Lucy shook her head, "It's fine, my apartment is only a few blocks away, i can walk"
"It's pretty late though, are you sure?"
"Yeah, thanks though Cana, Levy. I'll see you guys later, and i'm definitely going to call you tomorrow about that interview" eyeing the blunette.
"Later Lu-chan!"
"Later girly!" the brunette walked towards her other waiting customers and Levy watched Lucy leave the Club by herself.
(On the way home, 1:23am)
The streets were barely lit from the hanging street lamps, illuminating the still wet asphalt below. The night was quiet compared to most days, can barely hear the cars in the distance. The air was cool and damp, leaving anyone walking around with white wisps of air behind. Lucy walked slowly down the sidewalk, keeping especially close to the street lamps. She was letting herself get lost in thought about the lonely looking pink-haired guy at the bar. It was a bustling loud place, made for social gatherings, everyone knew someone at one point or another. It was an exclusive club specifically designed to keep everyone comfortable, so why was he there? The blonde looked up at the covered sky, clouds still left behind from last nights storm. She took a deep breath, leaving a large wisp of white air as she breathed out.
"The old man called in a favor to let him stay"
So who is he then? The blonde contemplated as she walked down the streets, turning to the second to last block before her apartment. Couple of police sirens echoed in the distance but Lucy paid it no mind. However from the corner of her eye, she caught someone moving in the alley nearby. Lucy stood still and stared down the dark section, eyes narrowing in case she was just seeing things. Despite having a few drinks, she knew when to stop. Her tolerance was not great by all means, anymore and she probably would have needed a ride home.
Another shadowed moved further back and took a corner away from her. Lucy shook her head and started to quickly walk away from the creepy alley before anything happens. Her heels started clicking louder, echoing in the currently empty street.
...click, clack, click, clack, click clack...
The blonde picked up pace when she suddenly heard another pair of footsteps gaining behind her. Lucy's breathing picked up, holding her arms closer to her chest as she tried to pay no mind to the incoming lurker behind her. She turned to the last block right before her apartment and used all bits of her nerves to avoid looking back.
Breathe, just breathe, if anything happens, i can just call...
The blonde nearly screamed when someone suddenly grabbed her. She used all her arm strength to try and push back the person behind her. However, going by the hand grip that this person was holding her with, it had to be a man. Lucy shot a glance at the figure who was towering behind. He was holding his hand against her mouth to muffle her voice. The guy had his other hand in front of his face, holding a finger to his lips, signaling her to keep quiet. Lucy narrowed her gaze, now glaring at the assailant while still trying to push him off. His grip only got tighter.
"What's a pretty thing like you doing walking around...alone...at a time like this?" he whispered to her by the ears.
Lucy closed her eyes and then stomped on the man's foot with as much force into her back heel as she could. The man grunted and lost his grip on her but then quickly regained his composure.
"Let go of me!" her voice echoed loudly on the empty street, "Who do you think you are grabbing me like that?"
The man grinned, his face barely illuminated from the lights above, which only showed his tanned skin and dark green hair that was slicked back sloppily. His yellow eyes narrowed at her, seeming very amused, he grabbed her again.
"Let me go you jerk!" She huffed as her arms were getting sore from once again, pushing him off.
"And lose a catch like you? I don't think so, you should come join me and my boys tonight. We'll treat you real nice..."
A few more guys showed up around her. Lucy gritted her teeth, seeing the group close in on her slowly. Her eyes were starting to shake and her breathing got heavier. Lucy felt her arm strength weakening, knowing it'll likely leave large bruises in the morning if this kept up. She took in a deep breath and she once again stomped on this mans foot repeatedly while shoving him back hard enough this time to knock him over onto the ground. Lucy quickly made a dash away from the men, knowing she had less than a block to get to her building. Lucy heard the guys gaining on her, laughing, taunting. Her heart was racing as she picked up pace, terrified out of her mind. A couple of guys caught up to her and grabbed her arms yet again, yanking her back to the nearby alley behind the building she was seeking refuge.
"S-Someone!, H-hhelp meeee!" she screamed again before her mouth got covered. However, the second that happened, she felt something hit her over the head, knocking her onto the wet, dirty ground.
"Someone shut this bitch up already before the cops come" the one bulky guy said.
"Hurry, the boss is waiting in the car"
Lucy whimpered, feeling herself starting to lose conscience. It was getting colder, the wet, damp ground made her shiver followed by the painful headache she felt growing stronger on the back of her head. Suddenly an extra pair footsteps got louder before it skidded to a stop nearby. The group of guys all got quiet before shifting immediately in front of her, as if they were hiding something.
"Hey man, What do you want? Get out of here, Can't you see we're busy over here?"
There was silence, but the footsteps picked up again. The crunching of small rocks under the shoes were echoing down the dark alley way.
(Celldweller-Fall to Earth(Faction 05))
"Hey asshole, did you not hear us, back the fuck up!" the deep voice yelled at the incoming man across from them. Lucy squinted hard to barely make out a figure, however there wasn't enough light to see his face.
"Back away from her now" a semi-deep voice spoke across from the group of guys. His voice was cold, leaving no room for negotiation. Lucy's heart was racing, while trying to still make out the male's face in front of them.
"Or else what? You think you can take all of us on, little man? Heh, I dare you" All of the guys started taunting and laughing at the guy who was apparently by himself. Lucy struggled trying to get herself back up before suddenly having a boot pressed down onto her back. She held back a scream in between coughing fits as her body was being crushed back down into the pavement.
She could barely hear the approaching guy who now sounded like he was snarling between his words, "I'll give you guys to the count of three to back the fuck off or else..."
"Haha, You hear this boys? He's offering up a challenge"
"1..."
The one guy snorted, "I bet he could handle this, just as much as this chick can"
"2..."
The burlier man laughed louder, "Someone take the girl to the boss, i got this"
"3..."
Lucy felt herself suddenly get yanked up roughly before being dragged out.
"...Time's up"
The man charges at the group of guys, raising his fist to the closest one to him. His fist connected to the guys jaw and sent him flying back into the wall knocking him out cold. The other guys glared at the incoming challenger and started whipping out their Swiss knives. The lanky man with tan hair launched himself from the side aiming at the target.
His gaze shot to the incoming knife coming towards his face and pivoted his head back quickly, grabbed the guys arm and snapped it backwards. The lanky man yelped and felt his legs get kicked out from under him. The challenger stomped onto the crooks hand, forcing him to let go of the knife as another assailant came charging at him with another one flanking him from behind.
The new guy grinned widely and suddenly lit his hands on fire, making the other guys flinch backwards a few feet, "What? You guys were doing a hell of a lot of shit talking just before, Aren't you guys going to back it up?...Because now i'm fired up"
"Fuck you!" One of the burlier guys launched himself towards the fire mage, only to end up having his gut punched in from the flaming fists, sending him flying backwards several feet. He shifted his gaze at the other two guys that were now backing off and running towards the blonde's direction. Without hesitating another moment, he jumped in the air and launched himself onto their backs with his two burning fists, knocking them both down into ground harshly, breaking their bones.
Lucy was watching the men being knocked out one by one but then suddenly there was fire igniting the alley way. However that's not what bothered her, in between the flames and blackened smoke that was coating the air, she saw the hair on one of the guys. The very same salmon pink she saw on one of the bar patrons from the club earlier. Her eyes widened as she saw him beating them flawlessly one by one with little to no effort. His fluent dodging from the multiple attackers made it look so easy. She couldn't help but feel awestruck by the man who was suppose to be so quiet. Lucy never once thought she would even come across him again, never mind helping her. Why was he here anyway? But before she can even continue these train of thoughts, she felt herself drop back onto the ground. The temperature around her picked up significantly as the incoming flames got brighter.
"Shit man, I'm out of here" she heard the guy who dropped her and skid off, nearly knocking into all the trash bins nearby before the running noise silenced into the distance.
Lucy wheezed as she tried to pick herself up, her torn dress barely covered anymore from being dragged around. She tried to wipe her face but then felt the dirt between her fingers and started to feel nauseated from the headache that continued to pound away.
She was so out of it, she didn't even hear the approaching footsteps. Lucy's breath hitched when a pair of shoes stopped in front of her. She glanced up very slowly to see the dimming flames disappearing into a fine mist in front of her. The dense heat was still emanating around them, removing the chill from the air but it didn't stop her pounding heart from trying to escape its rib cage.
"Uhm, t-thank you..." she managed to wheeze between her shuddering breaths.
The man knelt down in front of her, observing her intensely. Lucy flickered her eyes to meet his and felt her heart stop then and there. His near pitch-black eyes felt like it has pierced right through her. She couldn't even find a way to breathe out either as she felt her throat tightening from his intensity as if he was seeing right through her.
Why does it feel like he's judging her, as if this was her fault? This wasn't her fault, but why is he making it feel this way?
"What're you doing out here by yourself?" his voice finally cut through the tense atmosphere, sounding slightly agitated. His voice was low but his words held just enough bite to it causing her to flinch back.
Lucy clenched her jaw and narrowed her dark brown eyes, trying to shoot back the intense stare he was giving her, "What do you mean what i was doing?" pushing herself up despite the sharp pain protesting in her arms. She noticed her heels snapped and immediately tried kicking them off. The salmon haired man moved back carefully, keeping his eyes on her while trying to help her up off the ground.
Lucy shrugged him off and continued to vent her agitation towards his words, "Not that its any of your business, I was almost home when those terrible jerks assaulted me!" She huffed while now trying to go around and away from him.
The guy moved back just enough to let her pass through. He sighed while watching her march to the end of the alley entrance before turning back to him. Despite the anger lingering in her eyes, he couldn't help but notice her torn dress. Her feet were lightly scraped and ankles were starting to swell while her pale arm was looking abnormally red. Lucy narrowed her gaze at him but started to lose the anger she felt, knowing he did just go out of his way to help her.
She took in a deep breath and mumbled, "Thank you by the way from helping me..." Lucy cleared her throat and averted her gaze. She lazily folded her arms under her chest as if waiting for an answer, not that she needed one, but she was rather curious about him.
He closed his eyes and shook his head. The guy started to walk towards her carefully, as if not to startle her. Lucy gasped when she finally saw his face under the bright lights from the street lamps that hung over them. His messy salmon hair looked a little brighter now, but she couldn't help take notice of the now calmer gaze he held. His eyes twinkled a dark green as the pink locks hung slightly over them. The guy looked down at her, noticing she was staring intently at him.
Lucy's brown eyes widened as he stepped closer, enough for her to feel the heat radiating off of him. She immediately dropped her gaze realizing she was staring too long at him while feeling a little too self conscience. She cleared her throat again and while trying to step back away from him, her foot slipped from the puddle of dirty water behind them. While she lost her footing, Lucy yelped from the pain shooting through her ankles from being sprained earlier. Expecting to suddenly hit the cold, hard ground again, a pair of warm hands grabbed her quickly, keeping her in the air awkwardly.
"I-I'm sorry, i lost my balance...please let me go...now...my arm really hurts..." she mumbled quietly then sucked in some cold air to help push down the pain she felt while also not wanting to be rude, but her body was starting to take its toll from all the stress it dealt with tonight. Her ankle was throbbing painfully as well as her head and her vision was starting to get blurry. Lucy felt his grip loosen up slightly as if she was going to fall again but, she gently moved his hands away to avoid any more pressure on her arms.
"Uhm, i should...get inside now, and clean myself up..." She looked up at him and for some reason, his gaze changed again to something that showed concern and worry.
"Is anyone at home waiting for you?"
Lucy's eyebrows knitted together at the odd question, "No, why?"
"You should really get yourself checked out at the nearby clinic, it looks rather...uhm, painful" he cleared his throat and carefully pointed to her arms and legs. Lucy grimaced while she adamantly fought herself to keep her vision from blurring anymore than it was.
"Yeah, I will, I just...need to get home first..." she turned around and waved to him weakly while attempting to not stagger on her now bare-feet.
Lucy was right behind her apartment building and yet it felt like the longest walk of her life. The blonde sighed heavily before suddenly feeling her head get lighter. Lucy felt herself swaying as she kept trying to force herself to walk ahead a few more steps but then the environment started spinning around her. She could've swore she heard her name being called out to her but then her legs gave out and suddenly everything went black.
