There Will Be Lies
By SMYGO4EVA
The end of days was nigh, and it was all but clear to them.
Kaname knew that he held much potential and promise all his life, only to become a sacrificial lamb for the Kuran family. He had to keep moving forward, even past all the lies and betrayal, his purpose to uphold such a damned legacy.
To keep the Kuran family name strong and alive.
He would take down anyone who got in his way.
Zero knew that his sole purpose to eradicate the vampire who ruined his life, who took everything from it, and even after all of that, he got nothing in return. He moved forward, his hands bloodstained, and now he was left with nothing. Again.
He would take down anyone who got in his way.
They crossed paths once again, the empty church the rightful place to meet.
This was to be their meeting place and their tomb; it was almost poetic.
The church heaved out a long and ominous moan, and they fought.
They had fought, fangs bare and sharp, jaws open wide, and their eyes drenched in shadow. Their bodies collided, weapons gleamed with blood, their rage burning.
They fought, they bit, kicked, and fought, but then they grew weary, and they could not fight anymore.
His eyes still blood red, Zero pushed Kaname down onto the marbled ground, with little to no resistance.
Everything raged and blurred at once, but then Zero put any thoughts of revenge to the side for now, and Kaname gazed up at him, his eyes wavering, the crimson of his own eyes fading away.
Their hands met, and though sluggish and aching, the hunter leaned in to press his lips onto the vampire's, his head foggy and disconnected. Kaname simply closed his eyes and surrendered to Zero's touch, a tired gentleness in his stead.
Zero hummed against Kaname's mouth, an almost reassuring noise, which dissolved any thoughts of hatred, replaced with lust.
Kaname broke the kiss, and Zero let out a shaky breath, pressing his hips onto the vampire's, and straddling him thusly. Drool ran down the side of his mouth, swallowing down his pride. He then released his awakened erection out of his trousers, almost elated at seeing the vampire do the same.
They reached an impasse, and there was no backing out of it.
Kaname succumbed, roughly yanking Zero forward, at the mercy of each other's desire. The vampire felt so good and wet against the hunter, groaning noisily, needing more of such delicious friction.
They would not admit this, but this was preferable to seeing shining blood pooling onto the ground, while the others were soaked in gore.
Such rhythm was unmistakable, the pressure rising, rising, and tightening, tight, tight, tight, until finally snapping. Zero moaned out his desire, beaded sweat rolling down the side of his face, white liquid marking pale flesh, as Kaname leaned in and buried his mouth onto the hunter's neck, muffling out his own groan of release, spilling onto the other man's chest.
Fatigued breaths broke the silence that filled the church, with the silver moonlight illuminating them both.
