Griphook was surprised when he got a floo call from Malfoy Manor. The other goblins curiously stared at him as he went to answer. Farrig, who had been in charge of the Malfoy family's wealth for decades, gave him a sharp look.
"This is Griphook!" He answered. Harry Potter's head appeared in the flames "Hi Griphook! Sorry to bother you but do you mind if I step through?" The last Heir of the Potter family had managed to surprise him. He almost had a goblin mentality when it came to the Malfoy Heir and Griphook approved! "Always crush those you with to harm your treasure" was a goblin saying he taught the boy. Treasure being actual treasure or a person.
"Of course, Heir Potter." He saw even more curious looks. Most wizards refused to come behind the teller windows. They thought his people lived in caves or something equally ridiculous.
"Thanks Griphook! Sorry to bother you right after Yule. I hope you had a good holiday." Heir Potter was rambling on as he came through the flames. Griphook was only slightly surprised to see the Malfoy Heir right behind him. For what he heard, the two boys were conjoined at the hip.
"Heir Malfoy." Farrig stepped forward.
"Hello Farrig, I hope you're doing well."
"Of course, Heir Malfoy. You as well." He saw Heir Potter watching them before looking at Griphook and whispering "Griphook, I thought we decided on calling each other by our first names." He didn't account for the echo and every goblin turned to stare at them. Wizards did not offer their first names to goblins. Why would they when goblins were the inferior race? Griphook gave a sigh and said "Harry, we were only doing that in private."
"But why? I don't care if everyone knows you call me Harry. It's my name, after all." The boy said stubbornly.
"That's a wonderful idea, Harry. I never thought of it. Farrig, I would love it if you called me Draco!" The Malfoy Heir announced as he looked around the room. Farrig looked like he was going to pass out.
"And what was the reason you needed to see me, Harry?" He spoke up before the other goblin could respond. Farrig gave him a grateful look as he went to sit with the other goblins.
"Headmaster Dumbledore regifted my dad's cloak and Sirius is worried it's cursed! Draco had Dobby look it over but Sirius would like the goblins' expertise." He looked around before saying "Sirius has been having one of his feelings about it." All of the goblins knew about the Black family intuition. Most people thought it was paranoia but the goblins knew better. After all, was it paranoia if people were really out to get you?
"Leave the cloak here and I will have our experts look at it." He told the boy.
"Thanks a bunch, Griphook! Oh and happy late Yule!" Harry shoved the cloak and a gift into his hands as the two boys disappeared in the floo.
"What an odd wizard." One of the goblins said. Griphook opened the gift to find a goblin made pen. There was a note stuck on it that read "I found this in the vault and thought I'd return it to you. From your friend Harry." He couldn't stop the grin spreading across his face. The other goblin was right, what an odd wizard.

Harry ran through the halls of Malfoy manor. He had convinced Sirius and Draco they should play hide and seek. He had never been allowed to play before and it looked like so much fun. He opened a random door and went inside. It looked like a sitting room.
"Well what do we have here?" Harry jumped as the question came out of nowhere. He looked around and saw a painting on the wall. It was a dark haired woman with heavy eyes. She stared at him before saying "a Potter, I'm assuming?" Her voice was sharp and cold.
"Yes ma'am! My name is Harry." She gave a sniff before saying "I knew it. You look just like that Potter boy my son used to hang around with."
"Who's your son, ma'am?" Harry asked curiously.
"His name is Sirius. Last I heard the good for nothing boy was rotting in Azkaban after abandoning our family." She spat out.
"Oh! Sirius is my godfather and he's not in Azkaban anymore!" Harry was good at ignoring parts of a conversation. His Aunt used to say horrible things to him so he learned to focus on the important bits.
"The boy's out? How? Did his precious Light wizards get him out?" Sirius's mum did not seem happy about her son's release from prison.
"No, Mrs. Malfoy helped him get out."
"Why in Merlin's name would she do that?" She questioned, her nostrils flaring.
"Er so I could live with him instead of my muggle relatives." Harry responded back, still flustered by the actions of his fiancé's family.
"Sit down boy and tell me everything."
Harry found himself telling Mrs. Black about his childhood and Draco proposing to him. By the end of it, she had a thoughtful look on her face.
"It seems he has turned his back on those filthy blood traitors and came back to the family. Interesting." She mused out loud. Harry wasn't sure what a blood traitor was but Sirius did live with the Malfoy's so maybe what she said was true.
"Harry, I like what you did to those who wronged you. It shows me that you will bring the Black family name back to its former glory," she began before adding "of course, having the Malfoy name behind you won't hurt." She nodded to herself before bellowing out "Kreacher!" An ancient house elf appeared.
"Mistress called Kreacher?" He croaked out, sounding like a frog.
"Kreacher, Harry will be the Black Heir so you will follow his orders! He will be your new master." Mrs. Black demanded. Harry didn't want to be anyone's master and Kreacher seemed like he was about to keel over any second.
"Umm Mrs. Black-"
"Call me Granny, dear." She interrupted. Harry stared at her portrait. He didn't have a grandma! The closet thing he could think of was Aunt Marge and she made her dog chase him around the yard.
He gave her a timid smile and said "okay, Granny."
"If you need anything, make sure you call Kreacher, alright darling?"
"Yes Granny."
"Good. Now go play with your betrothed." As Harry ran off, Walburga Black smiled.

Draco was trying to find Harry. After they played hide and seek, Harry said he had to do something and ran off.
"It's probably because you smell gross," he said looking at Lord Black.
"I do not! You're just mad because I found Harry." He replied smugly.
"Oh yeah? Well I'm marrying Harry so there!"
"Well Harry is my godson!"
"Harry holds my hand!"
"We're going to the beach together this summer!" Draco was going to yank Lord Black's stupid hair out of his stupid head! He just had to buy tickets to the beach! Their honeymoon was ruined. At this point, they were yelling in each other's faces.
"What in the world is going on here?" Uncle Severus came up behind them. Draco didn't know he was going to be here today.
"I'm going to have Dobby smother Lord Black in his sleep because he's trying to put a wedge between Harry and me!" Draco cried out, his hands curling into fists.
"You keep that feral elf away from me!" Sirius ran and hid behind his godfather.
"If Harry finds out you're fighting because of him, he's going to be very upset, so stop this instant." Uncles Severus said, glaring at both of them.
"Where is he anyways?"
"I don't know! He ran away after we played together. Do you think he's upset? What if he's lost in the manor?" Draco was going to lose his mind!
"Or perhaps he just wanted a moment to himself? Harry said he spent most of his childhood alone so all of this attention must be overwhelming at times." His godfather mused out loud.
Lord Black and Draco exchanged a look before bolting in opposite directions. Draco was determined to find Harry first!

Severus sighed as he watched the two imbeciles rush off trying to find Harry. He had come over because apparently Lucius hadn't left the kitchen in two days. The Malfoy Lord was having a meltdown when Severus walked through the doors. He had to admit it looked rough. Half of the cabinets were missing and somehow the oven was cut in half. The poor man was laying on the counter clutching a baking sheet.
"Look what they did to my kitchen, Severus! I knew I never should have let them use it but Cissy had seduced me! She knows I love watching her duel and she entered a contest to surprise me! They were only going to make cookies! How did this happen?" He cried out, curling himself in on himself. Severus knew how much Lucius loved his kitchen. He had secretly enjoyed baking since he was young. His parents had barely seen the boy so he had grown up with his nanny elf and they baked together. Severus still remembers when his father found out he was cooking. Abraxas had been a cold man and he did not tolerate his son having such a common hobby. Lucius still had burns on his hands from his father's punishment.
"Don't cry, Lucius. It's a good thing I didn't give you my present." The older Malfoy blinked at him before Severus had a house elf bring in his gift.
"No! This is the latest goblin made oven! It's not even on the market! How did you get it?" Lucius gushed, his hands touching the oven carefully.
"Cissy and I bribed the goblins to let us get one early."
"You did?" His watery eyes stared at him.
"Yes, we did." Cissy was peeking around the doorway, wringing her hands. She couldn't step a foot in the kitchen because Lucius had set a ward around every entrance.
"I'm sorry, my heart. You know how terrible I am in the kitchen. I just thought it would be fun for Andy and I to bond over baking. I didn't mean to ruin it." Her guilty eyes followed Lucius as he hid behind Severus. Why was everyone using him as a shield today? It was ridiculous.
"I spoke with the goblins and they agreed to fix everything. They said it would be ten times better than before! They even said something about a muggle cooling device!" Cissy was rambling, her hands fluttering around her as she spoke. She reminded him of Draco at that moment. They both fell apart if their partners were upset with them.
"Oh Cissy!" Lucius launched himself at his wife. She easily caught him and they shared a tender embrace.
"I'll never step foot in the kitchen again, darling! I swear! I'll even make an unbreakable vow, if you want."
"That's not necessary, love. I'll just have the goblins set a permanent ward across the doors." Severus rolled his eyes at their actions.
"Well now that you've made up, I'm going home."
"Severus darling, stay for dinner!" Lucius begged, giving him puppy dog eyes. Severus looked at him and said "no." He went to leave when Cissy jumped on his back.
"You have to stay, Severus! You're the glue that holds us together!" Cissy wheezed in his ear. He stumbled around trying to get the crazy woman off.
"Cissy! We are too old for this! Get off before my back gives out!"
"What are you trying to say, Severus? That I'm too heavy?"
"No! That my bones are made of glass and they're about to break!" He shouted. He saw Lucius back up and started saying "no no no" before the man threw himself at his front. The three adults crumbled to the ground in a heap.
"I suppose I could stay for dinner" he muttered around a mouthful of someone's hair.
