Rita Skeeter was having the time of her life! She had wanted to take a shot at Dumbledore for years. Of course, due to his achievements, she had been unable to. When she had been contacted by the Malfoy Heir, she had been skeptical. He was a child, what did he know? She had never been happier to be wrong before. The boy had trapped her in an iron clad contract and gave her free reign of her article as long as she stayed partial to his little friends. Watching the muggleborn girl tear the old man apart was a dream come true. She would have to give Granger her card. The girl was ruthless. Rita had caught a glimpse of the famous Boy-Who-Lived before Lady Malfoy scared her off. The boy was adorable, clinging to the Malfoy Heir. She had heard that they were going to get bonded as soon as they graduated Hogwarts. If she played her cards right, she could get an exclusive invite to the wedding of the century! She couldn't help rubbing her hands together in glee. She watched the School Board come in. Lucius Malfoy looked like he wanted to start skipping so she knew it was good news.
"Thank you for waiting. We have made a decision." Old lady Bagshot said. The woman was older than dirt.
"Upon investigation, we have decided that the Headmaster and the teachers will need to take sensitivity training. They will need to show a trained professional they can keep their opinions to themselves. We have also decided to appoint a counselor to look after the students' best interest. They will answer to the School Board only. They have the right to defend the students as they see fit." She watched Dumbledore ooze anger. The fool should've seen this coming. If you make enough enemies, it was bound to come back and haunt you.
"We will announce the counselor before the next school year. We would like to thank the two brave students who represented all of Hogwarts and the nameless others who shared their experiences." Lucius Malfoy said, practically beaming at the two Gryffindor's. Rita thought it was rather clever. They couldn't punish Dumbledore directly because of his influence so they made a broad punishment. Of course it was barely a slap on the wrist but adding a counselor who was out of the olds man's jurisdiction? Downright brilliant! They could choose anyone they wanted to keep an eye on Hogwarts. She knew the Board had been getting blocked by the Headmaster for nearly thirty years. The two Gryffindor students had publicly made a way for them to actually watch the school from the inside! She would personally make sure no one forgot the names Hermione Granger or Percival Weasley.

Lucius met his family and his son's club members in an unused room in the ministry. All of the Weasley's were present including the home wrecking Diggory boy. He grabbed the brilliant Miss. Granger and spun her around.
"You wonderful girl! Tell me what you want. I will make sure you get it! Draco told me you like to read. You will have full access to the Malfoy library. I'll buy you a library, if you want! You both were utterly spectacular!" He will rewatch this moment in his pensieve every time he needed a pick me up.
"Father! Put my Vice President down this instant!" Draco said sharply. He reluctantly put the girl down before swooping on the unsuspecting Weasley boy. He heaved him up and gave him the same treatment. "If you ever need anything son, make sure to tell Uncle Lucius!" He told the bespectacled boy.
"Lord Malfoy! Stop manhandling my boyfriend!" Marcus Flint pushed the other boy behind him.
"It's okay Marcus. Mr. Malfoy is just excited." Percival said shyly. Marcus still gave him a look that could curdle milk.
"I can't believe they only gave him a mild reprimand! He should have been put on probation, at the very least!" Hermione said hotly, the girl's hair escaping her braid.
"Well if they punished him too harshly, they wouldn't have been able to swing the counselor position. By giving him a light punishment, the others were probably able to be convinced that he needs watching. After all, he is shaping the minds of the next generation." Harry spoke out, causing everyone to look at him.
"That's exactly right pup! You're so smart!" Sirius puffed up with pride. Draco had done the same and they looked ridiculous. Sirius had proved invaluable. Together they had swayed even old Bagshot herself! This was only the beginning, they were going to be unstoppable on the political field!

Narcissa Malfoy was turning thirty two. She was so fortunate to be spending her birthday around her family. She couldn't believe how much everything had changed, all because of her darling sons. The children had gone back to Hogwarts to take their final exams before ending the school year. She decided they would take a family trip this summer. Perhaps they could go to France. Lucius had family that lived there with a boy around her son's age. She hummed as the Dementors ghosted by. She had started her birthday tradition as a way to take her life back. After Bella spiraled into her Madness, she had made it Narcissa's problem as well. It had been very difficult for her so on her twenty-first birthday she visited her sister. Bella had been so happy to see her. Not for long though. She had spewed every hurtful thing the other girl had done to her. She had finally made Bella listen and she felt so much better afterwards. So she decided to make it a habit and if she got a little meaner as the years went by, who could blame her? She waved at her brother-in-law as she strolled past. He tried to spit on her but she just flipped him off.
"Bella! Wake up!" She said loudly. Her sister fell off the cot in shock. She stared at her from the ground.
"Hello Cissy. I suppose I should be saying happy birthday?" Her sister rasped out.
"Thank you Bella! You'll be happy to know that we're all being reunited today!" She said cheerfully. Her sister narrowed her eyes at her. Before she could ask, footsteps echoed down the hall. Narcissa couldn't help her smile from getting wider. Andy swung around the corner and called out "happy birthday, Cissy!" Bella's mouth fell open and she scrambled to her feet. Her hands wrapped around the bars and she frantically searched for their middle sister.
"Hello Bella. You look well." Andy said sarcastically. Bella's eyes focused on her and she gave her a wild grin.
"Andy! I've missed you! Are you still with your mudblood?" Bella asked, pushing herself further into the bars.
"I am. I saw your charming husband rotting away in his cell a few doors down." She grinned back. Bella gave a cackle. Her two eldest sister's always did have an odd sense of humor.
"Cissy, I heard an interesting rumor that your boy is dating the Potter brat." Bella asked, her heavy lidded eyes on her.
"That would be true! Harry is a wonderful addition to our family. It's a shame you never knew the joys of motherhood, Bella." She smiled at her. She thanked Merlin everyday that Bella never bore any children.
"It's unfortunate that the Dark Lord will kill the boy when he returns." Bella said slyly, causing her to reach between the bars. She grabbed her elder sister's hair and pulled forward, causing her head to bash against the bars.
"Do not speak about my children." She hissed out, her eyes flashing.
"Ah ah ah Cissy, your Madness is showing." Bella wheezed, holding her bleeding forehead. Andy stepped forward and said "come now Bella, it's Cissy's birthday! Can't you be kind?" They both knew Andy wasn't asking. There was a reason she had survived leaving the family and that was because she was just as vicious as any Black.
"Now! Let's start the birthday tradition!" Andy continued, clapping her hands together. For the next two hours, they tore into each other. Horrible things were thrown back and forth. Bella managed to claw Andy's face and Narcissa had pulled a chunk of her hair out in retaliation.
Straightening her shoulders, she threw a kick at Bella and looped her arm through Andy's.
"This was such a wonderful birthday gift. See you next yearHarry stared down at a weeping Hermione.

"I failed all of my exams! I know it." She wailed, banging her fist against the ground. The twins crowded around her and tried assuring her that she definitely passed but the girl was still crying. Harry reached into his pocket and handed her some chocolate.
"Eat this Hermione. It'll make you feel better." She shoved the chocolate in her mouth and wiped her eyes.
"Thank you Harry." She sniffed and let the twins help her up. He patted her back as the twins snuck away.
"Don't worry! If you failed, you can have Mrs. Malfoy wipe your grades and get you a passing grade. She offered to do mine if I failed." Harry told her. She gave him a watery grin and said "that's against the law, Harry." He blinked. So? Sometimes laws were meant to be broken.
"It's okay as long as you don't get caught." He replied, giving her a cheeky grin. She snorted chocolate out of her nose causing him to laugh with her.
"There you are darling! How was your last exam?" Draco asked as he slung his arm around Harry's waist.
"It was Transfiguration, I'm positive Professor McGonagall was praying I'd fail. Thank goodness you insisted on studying, Hermione!" He replied.
"Don't worry about McGonagall, Harry. If she does anything, let me know and I'll have our lawyers tear her apart!" Draco said firmly, his eyebrows drawn together. Harry grinned at him. His fiancé was so cute. He really was the luckiest boy in the world.
"I can't believe first year is over! It seems like we just got here." Harry sighed.
"There you are! Will someone help direct me to the Great Hall?" Cedric said. He had Tonks draped over his back, her hands were covering his eyes.
"What are you two doing?" Ron snickered as he met them in the corridor.
"It's a trust exercise, Weasley! You find out who your friends are." They all shared a look. Harry climbed on Draco's back and covered his eyes. Ron did the same with Hermione.
"Wow, Herm! You're super strong!" Ron praised as he pushed her hair out of his face.
"Thank you. It's from lifting my bag all year." She said proudly.
"How are we going to find the Great Hall now?" Cedric said wearily.
"You go straight!" Ron said, laughing as Cedric ran into him.
"You keep your hands to yourself, Diggory! If you think about "accidentally" trying to feel up Harry, I will have Kreacher drag you to the Swamp!" Draco barked as Cedric stumbled around.
"Draco! Stop saying that! My mum even thinks I'm trying to break you up! She wrote to me about "respecting people's boundaries!"" He cried out, Tonks howling on his back.
"Good. She said she was going to write to you, I'm glad she kept her word." Draco responded haughtily.
"You wrote my mum?" Cedric yelled as he ran into a wall. Harry couldn't help but giggle as Draco did the same thing. Hermione seemed to have a sixth sense and was at least going in the right direction.
"Draco, we're going to be late for lunch!" Harry whispered to him. Draco shivered and said "lead the way, my love." Twenty minutes later, they managed to make their way to the Slytherin table.
"Merlin, is Granger carrying Weasley? I didn't know she was so strong!" Daphne said, looking impressed. Harry saw the twins glaring at Ron as Hermione set him down.
"It was a trust exercise! Tonks thought of it." Harry told her. Daphne continued to stare at Hermione.
"Well Granger can carry me around any time." She announced loudly causing Pansy to break out in giggles beside her. Harry looked at her and shrugged. Girls.
"Does everyone think they passed?" Greg asked as Vince plopped down beside him.
"If I don't, my mum is going to murder me." Vince said.

"I think I did well." Harry said as Draco handed him his plate. It had his favorite food on it and he couldn't help his smile. He never knew agreeing to marry Draco would turn out this way but he thanked Merlin everyday he accepted. He reached over and took Draco's hand. Whatever the next six years brought, he knew they could handle it together., Bella! Hopefully the Dementors don't get to you before I do!" Cissy called out as they strode away, Bella's mad laughter echoing behind them.
