AN: This is my new Mollibby story that I've been wanting to work on for awhile! This story takes place after the events of my previous fanfic, Brighton University. Anyway, I hope everyone would enjoy my new story!

Together Forever

Several years had passed since Libby asked Molly to be her girlfriend. Throughout their relationship, Molly and Libby cherished every moment that they have spent together.

The two girlfriends had recently graduated from college, so they bought a house, where they lived together, along with Scratch. It took a while before all three of them finally got settled into their new home.

After getting used to their new home, Molly and Libby decided to go on a date together one night. They both got ready for their date before saying goodbye to Scratch, who was sitting on the couch as he was watching tv while eating a bag of chips.

"We're leaving, Scratch! Is there anything else you need before Libby and I go on our date?" Molly asked her ghost friend.

"Nah! I'm good, Moll! You and Libby have fun on your date!" Scratch replied before eating a handful of chips.

"Okay! Bye, Scratch!" Libby waved goodbye before she and Molly left.

The two girlfriends soon got in the car before Molly started it up.

"I'm really excited for our date, Molly! By the way, you still haven't told me where we are going for our date." Libby pointed out.

"Don't worry, Libby! I know that you will love where we are going to!" Molly promised before she began to drive the car out of the driveway.

As Molly drove the car, she and Libby decided to talk to one another while they waited to arrive at their destination.

"So, do you think that Scratch would be fine alone at our house?" Libby asked. "This is our first time leaving him alone, after all!"

"Scratch would be fine, Libby! It wouldn't surprise me if he would fall asleep on the sofa when we get back home!" Molly joked. "Speaking of which, how are you enjoying our new home?"

"I love it, Molly!" Libby replied with a smile. "I'm glad that we get to live close to both of our families so that we can visit them whenever we want! Although, I am going to miss living with my mom at the bookshop. You and I have shared a lot of wonderful memories there, haven't we?"

Molly nodded. "We sure have! I will never forget the time we celebrated Hannukah together during that blackout! I seem to remember that it was also in your room where we confessed our love for each other when we had our first sleepover together."

"I remember that night too!" Libby was lost in thought as she thought back to that wonderful night. "I also remember that I had to confess my feelings for you because you were too scared to make the first move!"

"Um, I wouldn't really say I was that scared. I swear I was close to confessing my love for you that night!" Molly explained.

"Sure, you were!" Libby giggled, not believing Molly.

A couple of moments had passed before Libby took a look out the window. She noticed that Molly was driving in a forest. There was something about this forest that looked weirdly familiar to Libby, but she couldn't place her finger on it. She didn't have time to question it before Molly finally parked the car.

After she and Molly got out of the car, Libby looked around some more as she tried to remember where this place was. Her eyes soon widened in surprise once she remembered this place.

"Molly, I recognize this place! It was where we had our Wilder Scouts camping trip!" Libby exclaimed as she remembered the camping trip she and Molly had together.

"Of course! I thought I'd take us somewhere special since it was at this spot where you asked me to be your best friend!" Molly smiled. "This place holds a lot of precious memories for me. The day you asked me to be your best friend ended up being one of the happiest days of my life! That's why I thought we could have a picnic here!"

Libby was soon touched by Molly's words. "Aw! Molly, I love it! This is going to be a perfect night! I mean, assuming we don't run into Howlin' Harriot again!" Libby joked.

Molly laughed. "If Howlin' Harriot ever does return, I promise to protect you and keep you safe!"

Once she was ready to have her date with Libby, Molly took out a picnic blanket from the trunk of the car and placed it on the grass. She then placed the food on the blanket and set up a couple of lanterns to make the night romantic.

Throughout their date, Molly and Libby ate their food as they admired the scenery around them. They both enjoyed every second of their date before finally finishing the rest of their food.

"Thank you, Molly! This date has been amazing! I really had a fun time with you!" Libby smiled.

"I had a fun time with you too, Libby!" Molly replied before she and Libby took the time to watch the stars together. "We have come a long way since we became best friends, haven't we?"

Libby nodded in agreement. "Yes, we have! When we first started to hang out together, you really helped me come out of my shell! I'm so happy to have you in my life, Molly!"

"I feel the same way about you, Libby!" Molly soon stayed silent as she appeared to be lost in thought. Libby began to notice this so she decided to ask her girlfriend if there was something wrong.

"Molly? Is everything alright?"

Soon, Molly gave a deep breath before she stood up. "Libby there is something important that I want to tell you." Libby had no idea what this was about, but she decided to listen as Molly continued. "We have been through so much together and I cherished every moment of it! You are my best friend and the best girlfriend I could ever ask for! That's why I have an important question to ask you!"

It wasn't long before Libby noticed a tiny black box floating in midair. The box soon floated towards Molly before landing in her hand.

"Molly, wh-what is this?" Libby tried to process what was going on.

"Libby, after all that we've been through together, I want to spend the rest of my life with you!" Molly then kneeled on one knee and opened the box, revealing a ring inside. "Libby Stein-Torres, will you marry me?"

The moment Molly asked that question, Libby placed a hand up to her mouth in surprise before she started to tear up from joy. It took awhile before Libby found her voice.

"Yes, Molly! I will marry you!" Libby exclaimed before hugging Molly tightly.

Molly soon teared up as well before hugging Libby back. As Molly and Libby embraced each other, Scratch suddenly appeared in front of them, happy that Molly was able to propose.

"Good job, Molly! I knew you could do it!" Scratch smiled.

"Scratch?" Libby was momentarily confused before she realized what was going on. "Oh, I get it! You were the one who floated the box over to Molly! You were trying to help her out with the proposal, weren't you?"

"That's right! Molly wanted my help and wouldn't leave me alone until I helped make this proposal perfect!" Scratch explained. "I hope this was good enough, Molly!"

"Yes, thank you for helping me, Scratch!" Molly thanked her friend.

With a couple of smiles, Molly and Libby happily kissed one another as this ended up being the best night ever. Once they returned home, they were both excited to tell their families the good news.

Several months of preparations had passed before the day of Molly and Libby's wedding had finally arrived. Molly and Libby were both, excited and nervous about today. This was the most important day of their lives and they wanted it to be perfect.

Once Molly was done getting ready for the wedding, Scratch decided to check on her. Molly stared at herself in the mirror as she was wearing her white wedding dress. She appeared nervous about today, so Scratch floated over to her to assure her that everything was going to be okay.

"How are you feeling about your big day, Molly?" Scratch asked.

Molly turned to face her ghost friend and replied, "I feel happy about today, but scared at the same time. Is that normal to be this scared on a perfect day, Scratch?"

With a chuckle, Scratch replied, "You just have butterflies in your stomach. I'm sure that Libby is feeling just as nervous as you are!" As Scratch glanced at Molly, he couldn't help but notice how much she had grown up over the years. It was hard to believe that she was only 13 when they first met. "You know, it felt like just yesterday when we got cursed together! Now, you're all grown up and getting married! I'm proud of you, Molly!"

Touched by Scratch's words, Molly started to tear up before hugging him in joy.

"Oh, Scratch! Thanks for being the best ghost friend anyone could ever ask for!"

It was at that moment when Scratch began to tear up as well before he hugged Molly back.

Before long, Molly and Libby were ready for their special day. Molly stood at the end of the hall as she she was happy that everyone she invited were able to make it to her wedding. It warmed her heart to see that all of her friends from middle school were able to make it.

Molly soon took notice of her family as well. She was happy to see her mom, dad, Darryl, and Grandma Nin, all sitting in the front row. Her dad especially seemed emotional by how much his daughter is growing up. Even though Scratch was invisible to most people in the room, he stood by Molly's side the whole time as he wanted Molly's wedding with Libby to be the best it could be.

Libby, who was wearing a white wedding dress as well, made her way down the aisle to meet up with Molly at the end. As she made it took the end, Libby noticed her mother sitting in the front row as well. Leah was holding a handkerchief in her hands, trying her best not to cry as she was proud of the woman her daughter had become.

Once Molly and Libby had met up with each other, they held each others hands, both of them tearing up from joy. After saying their vows to each other, Molly and Libby removed each others veils so they could see each others faces. They then kissed each other on the lips, officially making them Molly and Libby McGee.

Everyone soon burst into applause, happy for the newlyweds. As the wedding came to an end, Molly and Libby attended their wedding reception so they could meet up with their families. Libby and her mom hugged each other tightly as they both started to tear up.

"I'm so proud of the woman you have become, Libby!" Leah sniffed. "You and Molly are going to have a wonderful life together!"

Leah wasn't the only one who got emotional as Molly's dad began to sob uncontrollably.

"Oh, Sharon! Our daughter just got married!" Pete said to his wife. "Our children are growing up so fast!"

"I know, Pete!" Sharon comforted her husband before facing her daughter. "We are so happy for you, Molly!"

"Indeed! It's nice to know that you didn't have to elope like your parents did!" Nin chuckled.

As Pete cried some more, Darryl rolled his eyes.

"Pull yourself together, dad!" Darryl said before turning to his sister. "So, how does it feel to be married, Molly?"

Molly then turned to Libby before holding her hand. "It feels like a dream come true!"

Before long, music began to play and the guests began to dance with each other. It was at that moment when Pete and Sharon smiled at one another before they started to dance as well. As everyone else enjoyed the reception, Scratch decided to eat some food from the table.

"Well, I'm going to get myself something to eat! You two enjoy the rest of the reception!"

Once Scratch floated away, Molly was left alone with her wife. As everyone began to dance with each other, Molly thought of an idea.

"So, may I have this dance!" Molly asked, offering Libby her hand.

Upon being asked that question, Libby took Molly's hand, happy to have this dance with her.

"Molly, this is the best day ever! Now that we are married, I'm sure that this is the beginning of something beautiful!"

"I feel the same way!" Molly agreed, happy to spend the rest of her life with Libby. "I love you, Libby!"

"I love you too, Molly!"

After giving each other a kiss on the lips, Molly and Libby wrapped their arms around each other as they began to waltz together. With the wedding over, Molly and Libby were happy to spend the rest of their lives together and were certain that their love would last forever.
