"A little warning next time, Gon," said Kurapika while the light faded, and he rubbed his eyes in order to get the spots he was seeing out.

"Sorry, but we don't have to worry about the lower-level Stalkers anymore," said Gon as he pointed down at the city.

"Where did they go?!" asked a shocked Knuckle.

"The energy in the Stalkers was actually cursed energy, by purifying it they were destroyed, at least the weakest of them were," said Gon.

"But your trick didn't work on us," said the Supreme Emperor who appeared out of nowhere with his guards.

"I didn't think it would kill you, just burn some of your energy away," said Gon while turning to face them.

"After all, the energy you have is not fully cursed energy," he said.

"If their power is not Nen or cursed energy then what is it?" asked Melody.

"On," said Killua who caught onto what Gon meant.

"That's exactly what another human we met called it, I made sure to get all the information on it out of him before I made him a meal though," said the Supreme Emperor while licking his lips.

"On uses hatred as the basis of its energy source, so what is it that you four hate?" asked Morel.

"Life," said Fur.

"Our home planet was overrun by creatures and every day was a fight to survive, even the strong had it tough because they could be outnumbered easily," said Celine.

"And then his highness appeared before us and offered the power to take what we want," said Jack.

"With every being you eat you stole their hatred and added it to your own power, then you would turn around and created Stalkers using the digested body parts from those people," said Gon.

"And all I would leave behind for them to live on was their grief which drove the bodies to do my bidding and gave them a stockpile of cursed energy to run off of," said the Supreme Emperor.

"I'm surprised that someone like you were able to figure my plan out," said the Supreme Emperor.
