"Hey, sorry I'm late, Itsuki."
"Huh...? Did you enter the wrong room, Uesugi-kun? Yotsuba is in the infirmary, Ichika is-"
"No. I came here to see you."
"No, no, why me? Why did you choose me?"
He took a seat next to her, "Well... You are a stubborn, clumsy, gluttonous idiot. A girl who can't be helped at all."
"What?!" A tick mark appeared on her head, "Did you just come here to complain about me!?"
"But you don't give up. You kept trying to do your best, even back then when you didn't accept me being your tutor, right, Rena?"
Itsuki, shocked by his words, she stood up and took a step back, "H-how did you know?"
"I noticed that by your behaviour in the beginning." Fuutarou said as he stood up and got closer to the redhead, "You always encouraged me."
'You are someone who we really need.'
'Thank you for your hard work.'
'I'm counting on you.'
'We won't regret it. We won't ever regret meeting you.'
He remembered those words and smiled, "I am you and your sister's tutor, yet I learned more from you girls. That's why... From now on, I want you to look at me. Itsuki, I need you." He said as he extended his hand to the girl who was taken aback by his words that she remembered her times with him.
'You did so well on your own, Itsuki.'
'Finally... Found you...'
'Then, I'll become the substitute for your father'
'Would you... Feel a little bit better if I hold your hand?'
"Please tutor me"
'You bet.'
"Because of you, I was able to find myself. For me, you are my ideal, more than a friend. A special person." She took a hold of his hand as she looked out the window as so did he, "The moon is truly beautiful tonight, Uesugi-kun."
"It really is..." He said before they intertwined their hands together, as they watch the school festival end.
Time flew by in a blink of an eye, it was already March. The day that they graduate.
"Ah, seeing you all graduate brings a smile to my face. I'm so touched." He dramatically said as he fake wiped a tear on his face.
"Awww, aren't you disappointed that your name won't be called by beautiful girls everyday anymore?"
"Thanks to you, we were able to graduate together. Thank you, Fuutarou."
"Yeah, thank you, Uesugi-san. I've learned a lot from you."
"Honestly, I've learned more from you girls. If I didn't take the job back then, I'll probably just graduate and get a normal job."
"You know it's rude to keep a girl waiting, Fuu-kun. Itsuki is at the sakura tree near the school."
"Oh my, as soon as you graduate..."
"Let's all support Itsuki together!" Yotsuba said in her usual bright self, even if she felt a little sad that she didn't have the chance to tell him. She would respect his decision. 'If he's happy then I'll be happy.'
"Fuutarou, you should go to Itsuki now. She'll be mad if you're late." Miku said as Fuutarou waved goodbye and left.
As soon as he was out of sight, tears formed in their eyes,
"I thought we agreed that we wouldn't cry..."
"You idiot, you're crying too..."
"Ah, how lonely. It hasn't even been five minutes and I'm already missing him."
'Goodbye, Uesugi-san...'
Arriving under the sakura tree, a redhead with an ahoge and yellow star pins was waiting under it.
"Hey, Itsuki." He greeted.
"Ah, Uesugi-kun..." Itsuki returned the greeting. The two had an awkward moment before smiling at each other, "I love you."
Five years passed since then and Fuutarou was standing up on the altar. Wearing a white tuxedo, the happiest moment of his life finally arrived. There were some up and downs in his relationship ship with her, but he was there for her and she was there for him. Looking at the pews in front of him the ones in the front row, Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, Isanari and Raiha were sitting together. The second row consisted other family members and friends. His grandparents and the Nakano's grandparents.
There was also Maeda and a pregnant Matsui were sitting together and wore matching rings. Next to them was Takeda and Tsubaki. And as always, Takeda was as sparkly as ever. Lastly, it was his boss and the owner of the bakery right in front of it.
Soon, the giant doors opened, the crowd turned to see while he just stood there in awe, 'Ah, She really is beautiful.' he thought as his bride walked the aisle with Maruo accompanying her.
Reaching the the altar, Fuutarou took her hand as the priest started to speak, " This will be a new step in your lives. I pray that whatever trials that this wedding will be put under, both of you will work hard to overcome those trials and bring the love you both hold for each other to greater heights." The priest then raised his arms, " Do you, Uesugi Fuutarou, take this woman as your wife? For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health?"
"I do."
"Now, do you, Nakano Itsuki, take this man as your husband? For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health?"
"I do" she replied as she smiled.
"You may now exchange rings." The priest said as Fuutarou took out a ring box from the pocket inside his tux. He took out the one of the rings and held it towards Itsuki as she held out her hand.
After putting on her ring, he gave her the other so that she could do the same. The two looked at their rings with a smile.
"You may now kiss the bride." The priest announced.
Fuutarou lifted the veil over Itsuki's head and put his hands on her shoulders as she put his on his chest. They both looked directly at each other.
As she closed her eyes, she felt her heart beating. Fuutarou moved forward and as the bells rang, the two's lips touched.
The two kissed and officially became husband and wife.
A/N: I'm definitely dying. Well uh have a great day/night!
