I hope you like the last chapter, and I hope you like this one! Anyway, IT is such an underrated fandom, I hope this story is added to the list of good ones.
Giselle skateboarded home, once again refusing a ride from her brother.
It was dark out, the moon was shining an eerie glow on the small town of Derry as she rode by the nightmare house on Neibolt Street.
Giselle was lost in thought, thinking back to the afternoon, when she had apologised to the boys about Henry.
The boy who had stood up to Henry, Bill, had been stuck in her mind ever since.
"Giselle..." A voice interrupted her thoughts. She stopped her board, and looked around her for the owner of the voice.
When she couldn't find it, she moved forward to go home. But the voice came back.
"Do you want to float?" She noticed it was a small voice. A kid's voice.
She looked around again, not seeing anything. She turned to move again and that's when she saw him. George Denbrough, or Georgie.
He stood in front of 29 Neibolt House, a bright white light shining on him. He wore a bright yellow raincoat, with blood on the right side of it. The right sleeve of the raincoat was hanging down limply. The arm removed from the body. His hair and clothes were soaking wet, as if it was raining. There was a slight tint of red to the water covering him, as well as to the mud that coated the bottoms of his rainboots.
"Come float with us, Ellie!" Georgie smiled, his mouth and teeth also caked with blood. This smile was vile. As he smiled his small innocent smile, as he spoke in his small wholesome voice, the look in his eyes was wicked. He looked at her as if he wanted her dead, as if the sight of her was filling him with hatred, and all he wanted to do was get rid of her.
Giselle took a small step back, but that was enough to make Georgie mad.
"Where are you going, Ellie? Wherever you go, you'll still float! Everyone floats!" Georgie spoke, still using his small voice. But it was different, the smile was gone, and it was replaced by a scowl, his eyes narrowed as he took a step forward. As soon as Georgie took a step forward, Giselle sped off, leaving her skateboard behind.
Georgie just watched, taking slow, small steps.
As Giselle sprinted away, she lost her way back to her house and just started to find a way to get away from the small boy. She turned around and saw Georgie nearing her. So she went a little faster, but then she tripped on the cracked sidewalk. She hit the ground hard, landing on her back, she sat up a bit to feel the back of her head that was warm.
"Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!" She complained, repeating the word like a mantra.
She pulled her hand back to see dark metallic blood coating her fingers. She winced at the sight, she looked back to where she thought Georgie would be, but in his place was a clown.
Giselle screamed, but it seemed that no one heard, so she got up herself, ignoring the pain in her body. And she ran, as fast as she could to her house.
Bill had woken up, as he couldn't sleep with his mind full of thoughts about his brother, not to mention the way his mother cried in her sleep in the other room. So he had been sketching, first it had been Georgie, then it had been his parents and finally, his current drawing, Giselle.
The girl had been stuck on his mind since the way she rescued him and the other Losers.
Then he heard a thud, at first he was worried it had been inside the house, but then he realized it had come from outside, so he slowly walked to his window and looked out, and there Giselle laid on the ground.
He was about to go down to help her, when she screamed. She got up, with a limp he noticed, and ran away, but Bill was unable to see what had scared her.
He stared as her upset figure ran away from his view. He went back to his desk, sketchpad still opened. He closed it, not noticing how Giselle's picture changed to view a malevolent clown, with a wide wicked grin.
The next day was the official beginning of summer, and the day after Giselle's narrow escape from a dead little boy and a creepy old clown. She was still shaking from her encounter, causing her brother to question what she had been doing when she was so late last night.
At first refusing to go into town, Giselle realized she didn't want to stay home with her father. So she, reluctantly, accepted a ride from her brother and his friends.
She wore a light pink collared dress, a light blue cardigan and and blue flats. Her dark hair was down and she wore a pink ribbon around her wrist, and a ruby necklace.
She stared out the window in the backseat, arms crossed in front of her as her eyes darted over every figure she saw walk by.
"Hey El, ready to help us?" Henry inquired, looking to his sister, who looked at him with a baffled look in her eyes.
"Help you with what?" She asked, causing Henry and Patrick to laugh.
"Get rid of the new kid, obviously." Henry replied, Victor and Belch having joined in on the laughter.
"I'm not gonna let you do some stupid shit to hurt Ben!" Giselle narrowed her eyes, causing Henry to roll his own.
"Come on, El, don't be a pussy." Henry told her.
"I'm the only one here that has one." Giselle sassed, as Belch pulled up to the library. "What kind of shit are you gonna pull at this library?" She questioned.
"Nothing to the library, just the kid in it." Patrick spoke up, a large smug smirk on his face. All the boys got out, leaving Giselle sitting there.
"Giselle, up!" Henry rolled his eyes. Giselle groaned and got up, following them towards the front, albeit slower and behind. Ben, the star himself, walked out, making Giselle bite her lip in worry. The boys went after him, and after a moment of hesitance, Giselle followed. She ran as fast as she could, almost tripping because of her shoes.
When she got there, Ben had knee'd Henry in the balls.
"Damn! You totally deserved that!" Giselle announced, causing Henry and co. to look at her, giving Ben an opportunity to escape.
Ben ran off, Giselle and the boys following close behind. For obvious different reasons. Henry's gang to hurt and Giselle to help.
Giselle sighed as she finally lost her brother and his friends, while also getting farther ahead of them to be able to spot Ben.
She kicked up some dirt on the other side, to make it seem like someone had run down there. She followed after Ben, running right next to him.
"Ben, follow me!" Giselle urged, causing Ben to gasp as he noticed her presence.
"You're trying to help me?" He managed to ask, through the labored breaths he took, as he ran through the forest.
"Of course! Why wouldn't I? My brother is a dick! I try to get people away from his shit as much as possible, now come on!" Giselle rushed, she grabbed his hand and pulled him forward.
Giselle and Ben had been running for quite some time, before Ben slipped on some water near the sewers. Giselle immediately stopped to help him, looking around to make sure none of Henr's gang had caught up to them.
Giselle moved to help him up when a voice distracted her.
"Holy Shit! What happened to you?" She turned to see the four boys from yesterday.
Bill, along with his friends, Stanley Uris, Eddie Kaspbrak and Richie Tozier, were standing at the entrance to the sewers, watching a worn out Giselle and a bloodied Ben.
"Oh! Hi there!" Giselle waved, tired and awkward.
