Right, so I've been stuck in rut, or can't find the energy to do the stories that require a lot of attention. I don't know, I want to write them, but I feel like no one is reading them, and when I do post them, no one give me feedback, and they do it's all generic 'good job' or 'well done'. But for the people who have given me good feedback, thank you. I really appreciate it, and give me energy to write. It also helps with if I'm doing a good job, and if I need to change things or not.

So, this doesn't mean I'm giving up, and if any of you are worried, don't be, I'm fine. I just wanted to get that off my chest, and update the people who've read my more bigger stories.

But, back to what I have now. So, during the height of quarantine Bones started to air again on TV, and I had heard of it before. So I started to watch it, and oh my gosh, it's now one of my favorite shows. I'm on season 8, and the stories and all the characters are interesting. Although the state of the bodies they find do make me queasy at times. But I soon noticed something, and that Dr. Temperance Brennan is similar to one Sheldon Lee Cooper. So I thought of this little One-shot up.

The timeline for this is Season 1 finale of Bones The Woman in Limbo, and Big Bang Theory Season 3 episode The Gorilla Experiment. I hope I got everyone down and not ooc, but I tried my best.

I own none of the content, please enjoy.

It was nighttime on the fourth floor of a small apartment in Pasadena, California. Six individuals sat on a couch, chair or on the floor. All of them were adults, four males, and two females, the four males had various degrees in either Science, Astronomy, and Engineering, while the two females, were a Waitress/Actress and a Microbiologist.

These individuals were Dr. Sheldon Cooper, a Theoretical Physicist, Dr. Leonard Hofstadter a Experimental Physicist , Dr. Rajesh 'Raj' Koothrappali an Astrophysicist, Howard Wolowitz who had a Masters Degree in Engineering (Who wasn't a Dr., which was something pointed out a lot by Sheldon), Penny who was a Waitress at the Cheesecake Factory and a struggling Actress (Hofstadter later on, but that would be a story for another time, and Bernadette Rostenkowski (Wolowitz, and again, a story for another time), who was studying for Graduate Studies in Microbiology.

They were all gathered to hang out and eat takeout, and it was also Bernadette's second time hanging out with Howard's friends. And during that time, they were all, with the exception of Sheldon and Penny, were all bewildered by Penny, who had actually given a well informed and intelligent speech about Leonard's work, which was truly shocking, considering Penny wasn't knowledgeable about any of their work or had the same interests as the rest of them.

What they didn't know was, was that Penny and Sheldon had rehearsed it for the past week, due to Penny wanting to know about her boyfriends, who was Leonard, work. The week long workshop and training would've ended with Penny possibly murdering Sheldon for how he taught, but they succeeded.

Before anyone could comment, there was a knocking at the door, and Sheldon got up.

"Very fine work." Sheldon praised to Penny, who beamed, and walked to the door.

He opened it, and found a man in his mid to late thirties, and looked to be official. And Sheldon also noticed that with the way he looked, he would've thought that the man was someone Penny would be attracted to, if she wasn't dating Leonard.

He briefly wondered why he thought about that, and how illogical it was. But considering the amount of times Leonard pined over Penny, complained about the men, and seeing the men that traversed in and out of her apartment. He was bound to pick up on that.

The man nodded to him with a smile, and said," Hi, I'm FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth."

Sheldon thought about it for a moment, looked behind him, and said," Howard, Raj, an Agent from Federal Bureau of Investigation is here. This could only mean he knows about something we may or may not know about your work in Engineering. Or in Raj's case, asking you about your legal status."

"You can't prove anything! Uh, I mean, I can't speak English!" Raj blurted out in fright.

Howard offered the Agent a weak smile, and said," The Mars Rover was an accident!"

Agent Booth blinked, and filed those outbursts for later, and said," I'm not here for Mr. Wolowitz or Mr. Koothrappali, Dr. Cooper. I've come to see you."

That got everyone's attention, more so than the outburst from Howard and Raj, considering how they know Sheldon, he could've done a number of things.

Sheldon didn't look scared or frightened, but from the way he was looking at the man, he looked like he was remembering his name.

Sheldon nodded once he realized who was, and said, "Oh, yes, I know who you are. Temperance has spoken about you numerous times during our email and phone correspondence. Come in, and may I offer you a beverage?"

Booth nodded, and he was slightly surprised that Bones had even mentioned him to the man, but from what he got from her, Angela and Bone's brother, the two cousins were close.

"Oh uh, coffee, would do just fine."

"Well, we only have sugar, and none of the creamers. My roommate's flatulence, due to his deficiency of a lack of the enzyme that would allow him to consume dairy products, forbids him to. I will tell you from experience, it is not pretty." Sheldon explained as he got the coffee stuff out.

Sheldon failed to notice the glare Leonard was giving him, while Howard and Raj were busy not trying to laugh, Penny was comforting Leonard, while Bernadette was giving Howard and Raj looks.

Booth raised a brow, and said," Okay… uh, Dr. Cooper, what I need to talk about is something I don't think the others need to hear."

"Oh, if it's about Temperance's work or her manuscript for her book, then it's fine. They can stay. Although I always get squeamish when she goes into very vivid detail of what she does. While for the manuscript she told me not to tell you; even though I made it clear I could not keep a secret. Although it then occurred to me I wouldn't have any reason to meet you, but here we are. Her next book is dedicated to you."

"Wait… she actually? Her next book is dedicated to me?" Booth asked in disbelief.

He had been asking Bones for quite awhile if he could read her book, but she had clearly expressed he could once it was released. But knowing why she wouldn't let him, it made him feel flattered, and guilty that he now knew.

"Uh, Sheldon, what is going on? And when will you be arrested?" Howard asked, adding the joke to the last part.

But the would lying if he said he wasn't interested in knowing what was going on. And hopefully it would steer away from his outburst earlier.

"I'm not here to arrest him. I'm here to ask him about Dr. Brennan's parents."

That got Sheldon's attention, and he looked at the Agent with wide eyes.

"Wait… you know Temperance Brennan?" Bernadette asked in disbelief, when she realized who the person was.

"Who?" Penny asked, as she looked at her friend.

Bernadette looked at Penny in shock, and said," She's is a well known Forensic Anthropologist, and an author. She is one of the leading figures in her field. And she's also been involved in helping with Murder cases for the FBI."

'Not to mention hot to boot.' Howard thought.

He would've said it aloud, but considering his girlfriend was sitting next to him, it wouldn't be a good idea.

And also the fact he spent some alone time with himself thinking about her.

"Of course I know her. We share genetic material together." Sheldon said.

"She's his cousin." Leonard said.

Penny blinked, and asked Sheldon," Why didn't you tell any of us that you had a famous family member? And why didn't you say anything?" She asked the last part to Leonard.

Leonard shrugged, and said," It never came up, I guessed."

Sheldon stopped what he was doing, and thought about it for a moment.

"Well, there are number of factors for why, including what Leonard said. The first: Wolowitz's obsession with the female species and the wanting to mate, would've made her uncomfortable, but she would've easily beat him up. Raj, he can't talk to any female without being inebriated. Leonard, I asked not to mate with her, if she ever visited, and also when Penny arrived, he set his sexual instincts onto her, and look where they are now. While for Penny and Bernadette, it either never came up, or we had just met, and the appropriate amount of time to even ask such an inquiry hasn't been achieved." Sheldon explained.

"Got it, thanks." Penny nodded, satisfied with the answer.

Sheldon then looked at Booth, and asked," Now, may I inquire why you are asking about Tempe's parents?"

Booth looked at the others, and they gave him a nod, and he sighed as he prepared for what's next.

"Well… we found Bone's mom… her remains to be exact. Her remains and what affects she had when she died had been in storage at the Jeffersonian, and we just recently found out, once Bones and her team started to examine it. But we haven't found anything about her father yet."

"Oh my God." Penny whispered.

Leonard saw how Sheldon looked, and got up to check on him.

"Hey buddy, you okay?"

"I'm fine, I never met either of them. Tempe's father was my father's younger brother, and my father never told us about him, all he said they lost touch. It was only a year after their disappearance that we knew who she was. And I will admit, I am not one for human interaction, but spending time with her was fascinating."

Even if he his mind was superior, even he wouldn't forget the phone call his mother had gotten. Foster Care had called, and said that they had received a letter about Temperance being related to them, and his parents dropped everything to get her. At first he was indifferent about her, but once he found out she shared the same intellect he had, they became closer. Missy had wondered if Tempe was their long lost triplet, but it wasn't the case.

He would also never forget the vociferous lashing his mother gave to Russ when he first called Tempe on her birthday. And when he had physically visited, Temperance had pretty much slapped and told him off. They were fine with each other after that, but some issues Sheldon wasn't interested in getting to know was still there.

"What is she like?" Penny asked Leonard.

"Uh… just imagine a female version of Sheldon. Even if they are cousins, you would've thought she was his sister." Leonard said.

He wasn't kidding, he had never met the woman physically, but he had spoken to her when she was video chatting with Sheldon. It was unnerving a bit about they had the same level of smarts, and to some degree, having slight trouble with interacting with people, and social skills. But Temperance looked .

Although it did amuse him how she seemed clueless on pop culture sometimes, and the way it irked Sheldon. And now that he thought about, Penny would get along with Temperance's friend, Angela Montenegro.

"It is pretty freaky." Raj said.

Howard nodded, and said," I always wondered why her mannerisms and the way she held herself and talked seemed weirdly familiar when she was interviewed. When I found out she was related to Sheldon, I found that to make sense, and scary that Sheldon can multiply."

Howard felt shiver go up his spine, not a good way, but in a creeped out way just thinking about it. He still found her hot, especially with her voice, but he was turned off a little by knowing she was related to Sheldon. But then again he was attracted and tried to ask out Sheldon's sister Missy when she first visited.

Thank God he was dating Bernadette now; he didn't want to dwell on all of that.

Also the thought of more people like Sheldon was worrying and odd. Thank goodness there wasn't anyone… well that they know of, who was like Sheldon besides Temperance.

Meanwhile, in another part of town, Amy Farrah Fowler was working at her lab, and was about to write something down, when she sneezed.

She furrowed her brows, but shrugged it off, rationing it was something in the air.

"So, besides Bones, have you been in contact with her brother?" Booth asked.

"No, like I said previously, I never met him. Heard him on the phone yes, he always calls on Tempe's birthday, and at first she wanted nothing to do with him. But my mother convinced her to."

"Got it… so you don't have anything about them?"

"No, that's one area I have less knowledge of, unfortunately. I suggest looking for Russ, and asking my mother and siblings back in Texas. But, how is Temperance doing?" Sheldon asked.

But that was when he remembered something, it was insignificant at the time, but he remembered hearing a conversation his parents had when Tempe first arrived.

"Well, there is one thing."

Booth and the others looked interested, and motioned for Sheldon to say whatever he was going to say.

"I remember my parents talking about something regarding Temperance's father changing their last names do to something that happened. I was walking passed their bedroom when I heard, but knowing how my mother looked down on eavesdropping, I left. But I just assumed it had something to do with their marital stance or some other hokum." Sheldon explained.

Although he did ask his father once about what happened to his missing Aunt and Uncle, or Missy and Georgie wanted to know, he wasn't interested. But knowing how Sheldon was curious about things, they had tricked him into asking their father. George Sr. just said that he and his brother drifted apart, became estranged, and left it at that. And he told him and his siblings to drop it.

Booth nodded, scratched his head, and said," Yeah... I didn't want to mention it earlier, but we have reason to believe both her parents were criminals, we're still figuring things out. But its safe to assume they cut contact with your family, and changed their names to protect Bones, her brother, and you guys."

"Uh... should we be worried?" Leonard asked.

"No your all fine, Bone's parents did a good job in hiding who they were, so there's no need to worry." Booth reassured them, and handed Sheldon a card. "Here's my card, in case you have any information that you remember. And I'll keep you updated. Thanks for your time, Dr. Cooper." Booth said, nodded a goodbye, and left.

After he left, the others were left to reel about what had just happened. Sheldon looked thoughtful for a moment, and then went over to the phone, dialed a number, and waited for the person to answer.

"Hello, Temperance? Yes it is good to hear you again. But pleasantries aside... your partner in the FBI just visited. And was wondering about your parents."

I hoped you all liked this, I know a scene where Sheldon and Temperance interacting, but I believe if I ever do a follow up one-shot, that will happen.

Review, fav or follow, and till next time.
