Hello from the UK, to all of the Dallas fans who still are as in love with this show as me. This story strays away from the storyline, instead, I've taken the characters and tried to evolve a new story based on what I would have loved to happen to Bobby and Ann. There is not nearly enough fanfic about them out there, so I hope you enjoy this little bit. Thanks for reading and please review! G x

Chapter 1: Happy Reunion

As Bobby and Ann walked up the drive to Southfork, they heard Emma's laughter coming from the open kitchen window. Ann smiled, it was nice to see her daughter finally back on the right track, and genuinely happy. The ranch was fairly quiet; everyone was out and about today doing one thing or another. Emma was at home, but had said she was having a friend over, so Bobby and Ann decided to go out for a long lunch.

"Hey, Emma, we're home," Ann called as they walked into the entryway of Southfork. Bobby took off his coat and put on his slippers, then started walking towards the kitchen. "Emma?" Bobby was stopped in his tracks by an excited little voice, "Ammam!" it squealed, cutting off Ann's sentence and causing the couple to stop and looked at each other, slightly puzzled. "Ammam!" they heard again, though this time it was accompanied by little feet running towards them, and the biggest smile they had ever seen.

"Hi Ammam!" the little girl said, running into Ann's arms. She immediately picked her up, spun her round and tickled her, making her laugh. "Why hello, little lady! I've missed you." She snuggled her once more before putting her down on the floor so she could take off her coat and shoes. The little girl then ran to Bobby and wrapped her arms around his legs, craning her head to look up at him with a cheesy grin. Bobby beamed down at her and picked her up, as they all went into the kitchen.

Emma was standing at the kitchen island, covered in flour and spatters of chocolate icing. She smiled warmly when she saw them. "Hi, sorry, safe to say she's excited to see you, 'Ammam'," she laughed. Ann chuckled, "Haha yes, I can see that! What happened in here then?" she asked, looking around at the remnants of a baking activity scattered all over the countertops. "And where's Georgia?" Emma began wiping a sticky hand print from the oven door. "I picked them both up this morning, they flew over to spend the week with us. We went for a walk around the ranch when we got back, but Liv was exhausted so we came back for her sleep. I got a call from work and Liv was still sleeping, so I suggested Georgia go for a ride whilst I had my meeting." Emma explained. "Then Liv woke up and wanted to cook, and now we're here," Emma laughed, shaking her head playfully at the toddler who was now snuggled into Bobby's shoulder. "Georgia texted me, she's now on her way back." Emma said.

"Liv, tell Bobby and Ammam what we made?" Emma suggested, putting the last of the dishes in the dishwasher. "Mmnum… bi-kits" Olivia said, lifting her head off Bobby's shoulder. She said it with such a serious expression, then broke into a grin which cracked everyone up. "Ooh, yummy biscuits! For Olivia, mummy and Emma?" Ann asked playfully, making Liv giggle and wriggle. Bobby put her down and she ran round to Emma, who picked her up and gave her a biscuit.

Emma held her on her hip. "She said she wanted to make biscuits, 'no cookies' she told me! I had to google and have her point to a star shaped sugar cookie on a recipe for me to understand. You told me, star, didn't you? Bossy boots!" Emma laughed, pointing to the biscuit Liv was holding. "Mm num, tar" Liv said sleepily with a mouth full of biscuit, leaning in to Emma and yawning.

"Ohh, I think someone is due an early night," Georgia said as she walked in. She immediately went and hugged the older couple. "Hello, Emma said it was okay for us to stay this week, thank you so much. We've really missed you all!" "It is our pleasure to have you both here," Bobby assured, squeezing Ann's waist and moving to put the kettle on.

Georgia smiled warmly as she saw Liv in Emma's arms with a half eaten biscuit. She smiled and put her hand on her chest. "Aww you made biscuits with her! That's so lovely, I would have come back sooner if needed," she said to Emma, who shook her head kindly. "Honestly it was okay, she hasn't been up too long, but she wanted to make star 'bi-kits'. And I know how much you have missed riding on the ranch." "That I have. It's beautiful and so peaceful.' Georgia said. "6 months is always too long to be away from Southfork."

"Well, we sure have missed having you two around. Every time I see her she's grown so much and talking more. She's so sweet," Ann said, looking at the now sleeping toddler in her daughter's arms. Ann squeezed Georgia's shoulder, before taking her cup of tea from Bobby and sitting with him on the kitchen sofa. "Thank you, she really is what keeps me going." Georgia said quietly. Emma gently removed the biscuit from the toddler's hand and passed her to back to her mum. "Thanks so much Emma. I'll go pop her down and then we can catch up properly."

Emma moved to the pantry and pulled out a bag of 'jelly babies' sweets. "I don't know if you're hungry after lunch, but Georgia brought some English candy and snacks with her. These are so good. I swear, I don't know how anyone gets anything done in that country when they know these are waiting for them at the grocery store!" The couple laughed and Bobby shook his head in amusement, as Emma tucked into the bag and headed into the main living room.

Ann turned to Bobby with a knowing smile. "Is this the part where we tell her we didn't actually go to lunch?" she teased and gave him the side-eye. Bobby hit her arm playfully and both chuckled. He then looked into her eyes and kissed her on the lips tenderly. As he leaned back, he suddenly broke the kiss and furrowed his brow, before reaching behind him for what he was sitting on. He pulled out Liv's little toy bunny. "Ah," he laughed. "Bun bun ruins the moment. That's surprisingly fitting." The couple broke out into quiet laughter and Ann kissed her husband deeply, before holding the bunny and resting back against Bobby's chest. Bobby read her mind and sighed a contended sigh. "Annie, it will all be okay."
