Treason.
A thing that plagued every human being.
And Galadriel tasted it pretty damn sure.
Since the revelation of Sauron's identity, she was tormented by her own heart.
She hoped it, that Halbrand was not the Maia who killed her brother. However her deepest fear became true.
Galadriel slowly rose from her bed, yawning with a sleepy tone. She leaned towards the little table next to her, grabbing a glass. Taking a sip of miruvor, she walked to the balcony of her room.
It was cold outside, but the cold embraced the Eldar Princess. She pulled a chair to herself, then sat down.
She breathed the cold air in, welcoming it in her lungs. It was almost exciting to leave the air out again. "Such a simple thing..." She thought. But she should be grateful to Valar that she was still alive.
A few days ago, she unknowingly helped her archenemy to return back to Middle Earth. All the attempts to mend the grave wounds of the World went to ashes. Southlands were recreated as a home for the Uruks. People were slaughtered and will continue to be the victims of evil, just because of her.
"It is not my fault..." Galadriel tried to calm herself down." We are going to use his creation against him"
Definitely they were going to do that, as Celebrimbor managed to create Rings of Power, powered by the forces of the Unseen World.
In all of a sudden, a creaking noise rose behind her. Galadriel noticed it in a second, her hand went immediately to the sword near her chair.
"Who the hell is there?" Blonde elf ran in the room, trying to find the source of that voice. She saw a glimpse of a red robe near the door, and she rushed there. But the thing noticed her as well, hastily ran to the hall.
When Galadriel made her way to the hall, the thing was nowhere to be found.
"Lady Artanis? Why did you wake up at the midst of night?" Celebrimbor emerged from the opposite room, calling Galadriel in her Noldor name.It was obvious that the great blacksmith was sleeping deeply, only to woke up to Galadriel's steps.
"There was a thing over there. I believed it was spying on us. We must wake up the Guards, then-"
"You must have seen a nightmare." Blacksmith stopped Galadriel with his bold voice. " You have passed through a lot last days. Your mind is playing with you. Now go to sleep." His last word sounded like a command. He took Galadriel back to her room, then closed the door.
"Maybe he is right. I had a lot of things these days."Galadriel pulled the blanket on herself.
A paper fell from her bed on to the ground.Galadriel saw it in darkness.
She quickly lit the candle next to herself and tried to look at the paper.
There was not any words. Just a drawing.
An Hourglass.
