This wasn't fun.
"You want me to what?" Eugene asked.
"Pretty please!"
Giant green eyes looked pleadingly at him and he had to step back.
"Don't you think you're taking it too far Sunshine? I mean sure flowers and sweet treats, fine but…"
"Please. Just for one day. I am sure he won't mind."
The heir of the dark kingdom was unconvinced. "So we are cool with a baking Viking but draw the line at the mad scientist in our basement?" He shook his head. Sometimes the woman of his dreams tended to go a little overboard, however, this seemed a bit drastic even for her.
The princess rolled her eyes at her fiance. It wasn't that big of a deal.
"You have to admit he's getting a little you know," she gestured vaguely with her arms. "Since the incident."
Eugene winced. He should have never - With the worst timing imaginable an explosion suddenly rocked the castle, highlighting Rapunzel's point perfectly.
"And why exactly am I the one that has to tell him?" He grumbled. No fun indeed.
"He loves you. Besides someone has to organize the parade," she replied without missing a beat.
"A parade?" He asked perplexed. "Sweethear-"
"Please!" Her lips started to quiver.
Eugene sighed, he should have never taught her how to do the smolder. "You're lucky that I love you."
Rapunzel smiled triumphantly.
"Thank you so much! You are the best!" The princess pulled him into a hug and gave him a big old smooch on the mouth.
"You're damn right I am," he laughed. "You owe me Blondie."
