"As always it has been a pleasure," Nigel claimed as he turned around the corner.

The ambassador nodded. "If only I could say the same." He stopped when he saw the princess of Corona and her fiance in the hallway. She looked rather disheveled.

"Your highness?" Nigel questioned confused. "Whit all respect but what are you doing here?" They were supposed to bid him goodbye at the castle gates.

"Oh. Uhm, hi." Rapunzel struggled. "We, we ahem-"

"Were just making out passionately." Eugene cut in.

"Eugene no!" She elbowed him slightly flustered, "We wanted to personally send you off since, since, we had so much fun?"

"Right." The thief huffed. Smooth.

"How considerate," the minister cleared his throat half expecting a bribe. It wouldn't be the first time Corona's rulers attempted to do so. "Very well then." He added as he took his belongings. "I don't have all day."

"Oh, yes. Yes, of course not. Please after you," she smiled forced.

The minister went ahead escorted by the couple. Nigel raised a brow at the suspiciously looking paper the princess tried so obviously to hide behind her back but kept quiet. The rest of the royal family was already waiting.

"We wish you a safe trip," Queen Arianna said after they arrived.

"Farewell," the king added.

One last round of superficial pleasantries had to be exchanged before they watched him leave in his carriage.

"I am proud of you Rapunzel." Frederick put his hand on her shoulder.

"Thanks, dad," she beamed.

As soon as the minister was gone she tugged Eugene to the side, still amazed that they got away with this.

"Come on!" She said giddily. Together they snuck into her room ready to read the review.
