Mystery
AN: After this story maybe I might do a past story looking at Stella's life when she was a teenager and Zuma was seven.
Stella was angry at Zuma, he did something very bad and he didn't even come to her to say sorry, no he just wanted to hide the truth but Stella wanted him to say that.
In the morning…
Zuma woke up with an angry Stella barged into his room. But he wouldn't understand why, he didn't do anything or at least that's what he thought.
''What is wrong?''asked Zuma, but Stella picked him up by the collar and didn't really give a solid response.
''Do you really think that you can pretend to sleep?''said Stella. She didn't look like she was joking but something really was up, but Zuma still didn't understand.
''W-what do you mean? Did I do something wrong?''said Zuma breathing very hard thanks to Stella holding him up. But she saw that and let go of him but not before putting a paw on his back to keep him from running away.
''Yes you did but I see you like to play dump and not tell the truth. So until you recognise what you did you are grounded.''said Stella leaving him alone. He was left there wondering what to do.
''What is wrong with her?''thought Zuma. He was sure he didn't do anything but Stella looked really mad so something very bad happened. He sneaked out of his room looking at Stella who was in the living room still angry and mumbling something. So he again sneaked to the couch without being seen and listened to what she was saying.
''What should I do to that brat? How could he? After I do anything for him he still acts so childish.''said Stella taking a sip out of her coffee. But some sounds coming from the couch caught her attention. She walked slowly not giving any hint that she moved and jumped from the other side catching Zuma off guard. ''W-wait I can explain..''tried Zuma to say but his sister had no time to be patient.
''I thought I told you, you are grounded. Can't you understand in english?''growled Stella. She then took a leash from a drawer and put it on Zuma. He struggled but she pulled him to his room and tied the other end to the table. She also put a muzzle on him so he wouldn't bite the leash and she got out of the room but turned around.
''If I see you try to get that leash off… I also tie your paws so you will be motionless.''said Stella leaving the room. Lucky for Zuma the leash was long enough that he was able to move around the room to his bed and computer but if he was getting hungry or thirty? He couldn't call for his sister so he began to jump on the floor to catch Stella's attention and she came not even a minute later.
''STOP THAT RIGHT NOW.''growled Stella walking toward him. But he pointed to his muzzle so she took it off for the moment. ''What?''
''What if I get hungry or thirty? You didn't think of that. If I'm going to stay here can't I at least get some food and water. I don't want to-''said Zuma before being shutted up by Stella. He looked at her angry and mumbled something.
''I'll get you some water. You will get food only when I bring it to you. Oh and I forgot..''said Stella before getting Zuma's phone. ''You aren't allowed on your phone or computer. And just to be sure..''said she before shortening his leash so he only can reach the bed. He tried to talk but only ''mhm''was heard, he tried to fight but she was much stronger and eventually she did her job and left.
''Why? What is wrong with her? I DID NOTHING..''though Zuma before lying down in bed and beggin to cry. He was kept as a prisoner, but he hadn't given up yet. He whipped the tears off and used his claws to cut off the leash, and as for the muzzle..well he couldn't get it off so he still wore it. But to his demise Stella entered the room with a big bowl of water but dropped it when she saw Zuma without the leash.
''That's it..''said Stella approaching her brother. He then got an idee, if he can get Stella calm then maybe she could listen to him. So he did not try to run. But instead sat down and waited for her. When she arrived she began to circle him making sure he wasn't going anywhere.
''Zuma I got to say… You really like to test my patience, don't you?''said Stella now sitting in front of him. He again pointed to the muzzle but this time she didn't take it off. ''No, that will stay on, and personally you look so much better with it.''
''Mhm.''said Zuma again trying to get her to let him talk. But again she didn't listen.
''Why can't you at least for one in your life listen to me? I told you, you are grounded can't you stay in your room for a day? Is it that hard?''said Stella to which Zuma nodded his head. He then approached to get near her but she pushed him away. ''No. Stay where you are. Don't get close to me.''growled Stella. Zuma then began to cry and Stella was feeling sorry so she took the muzzle of his mouth. ''If you are going to say stupid stuff I will put this back on in an instant.''warned Stella.
''Are you insane? Putting a leash on me and a muzzle? What am I, a prisoner?''said Zuma who got in her face. ''I said don't get close…'' to which Zuma kept a distance.
''What is wrong with you? I didn't do anything to you. You just came to my room and yelled at me.''said again Zuma trying to get a response.
''Oh please..You really did something but you still like to lie. That's why I grounded you, I'm tired of always hearing lies. For once can't you tell the truth?''said Stella with crossed paws.
''Oh yeah? Then maybe if you were a better sister, OUR PARENT WON'T BE DEAD….''said Zuma who regretted instantly what he said. The moment he ended that sentence, Stella grabbed him by the neck and squeezed tightly.
''DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT OUR PARENTS. THEY ALWAYS LIKED YOU MORE BUT YOU WERE ALWAYS A BRATT. SO THEY TURNED THEIR HATE TO ME. SO NEVER EVER MENTION THEM AGAIN. I HATED THEM.''growed Stella, with some tears running down her face. She eventually let go of Zuma's neck since he almost choked.
''From this day on, I will never look the same at you.''said Stella, putting that stuppid muzzle on Zuma and tying the leash to his legs. He was left there more as a hostage than as a grounded person.
Stella meanwhile was throwing a tantrum in her room crying out loud, but a little photo of her, Zuma and their parents caught her attention. She looked at it and suddenly calmed down, she saw her mistake. She was like her parents, carelles and hurtful. She needed to change. So she quickly went to her brother's room to untie him, and so she did. She also took off the muzzle and squeezed him in a tight hug.
''I'm so sorry Zuma, I should have snapped like that. I was like our parents. But don't worry I will try to change.''said Stella with tears still dripping from her cheeks.
''No, I'm the one who is sorry. I shouldn't have mentioned them. I know how they treated you.''said Zuma, returning the hug. He really felt sorry for her.
''Now can you tell me what I do? I really don't know.''said Zuma breaking the ice. Stella got out of the hug and changed mood.
''After all that and you still lying? I really need to educate, don't I?''said Stella, grabbing one of his ears. But she didn't pull into her direction; she pulled it high making Zuma stand on 2 paws. But still it was not enough and the young labrador began to feel pain.
''STOOOOP PLEASE.''howled Zuma but Stella didn't stop. Out of all the punishments the pulling of his big ears was the more effective one Stella knew.
''Not until you tell the truth.''grind Stella still holding high. But Zuma lost control of himself and bit her nose making it bleed. She quickly let go of his ear and rushed to the bathroom to clean the nose and bandage it. Zuma meanwhile ran to the kitchen to defend himself by grabbing a knife. He wasn't going to use it, dog no, but at least intimidate Stella enough that she would stop. But when a bandaged angry labrador came he almost pissed himself from fear.
''There you are…And what is with the knife? Are you trying to scare me? It won't work so put it down right now..''said Stella approaching him not caring that he was well armed, and it worked since he dropped the knife out of fear of hurting her.
''Good boy.''said Stella, picking him up and putting him on the couch.
''W-What will you do-o to me…''said Zuma, backing to the corner of the couch away from her. She looked at the ceiling.
''I don't know. But it will be bad.''said Stella, now laying down near him.
''I'm sorry about your nose.''said Zuma trying to deescalate the situation.
''It's fine. But you won't be that's for sure.''said Stella now looking at him. And he didn't take that kindly.
''Can you stop with the mind games..''said Zuma. He never knew his sister could be so unpredictable.
''Nah, it's way to funny.''said Stella, but she looked bored, not enjoying this. And Zuma took notice of that.
''Can I have my phone back?''said Zuma, maybe Stella only wanted to play for now.
''No since you broke mine.''said Stella, taking her broken phone out. It only had a broken screen but it still worked.
''Wait..was this all fuss about your phone?''said Zuma putting the pieces together.
''Maybe, I don't know.''smiled Stella, now looking satisfied. It seems that Zuma caught on to what she wanted to,so if he confest she would punish him either way.
''I didn't break your phone..''said Zuma thinking if this was a lie. He at least didn't remember anything involving her phone. But she could be right, but she could also be wrong.
''Yes you did. My question is when will you finally confess? How much do you want to keep this lie to yourself?``said Stella is now losing her patience a little.
''This is getting stupid. Can I leave?''said Zuma. He only wanted to go to his room and sleep.
''Just try..''warned Stella showing her teeth. But Zuma took his chances and decided to run. But Stella didn't follow. She only watched. For now…
''*huff*..Did she not run after me? But why?''said Zuma catching his breath. So he decided to just sleep. And maybe after some hours of good sleep he woke up only to find Stella looking at him.
''Morning Zuma.''said Stella, giving him a plate full of pancakes. It was about breakfast time.
''Morning Stella,..Um…aren't you mad about yesterday?''said Zuma wondering where her anger went. She looked bored more than anything. But still he should be careful.
''Since you like to lie so much I won't try to discipline you anymore. I'm just done with you.''said Stella in the most emotionless way possible.
''FINE I WAS THE ONE WHO BROKE YOUR PHONE.''said Zuma before shutting up. But Stella then began to smile.
''I KNEW IT.''said Stella before doing a little victory dance.
''BUT HOWWWWWW?''yelled Zuma, he indeed broke her phone but tried to hide that fact, but still his mind is nowhere near close to Stella's. But soon Stella stopped her dancing and turned serious.
''Now onto the real question. How and why did you break it?''said Stella lying again near her brother and Zuma was sure that if he tried to run this time things would go badly.
''My phone ran out of battery so I took yours to listen to some music. But while I was dancing I accidentally dropped it on the floor with the screen facing downwards.''confesses Zuma while Stella listens carefully.
''Wow, you know you can't touch my private stuff. I told you that for years now. When will you finally listen.''said Stella now slowly patting his head. He only wanted to have fun, not actually break it on purpose. ''But why didn't you tell me? Are you really that scared of me? I'm your big sister after all.''
''I knew that if I wore it to tell you you would get mad and maybe punish me…I know how much you care for your phone so that's why I lied to you sis. I'm sorry..''said Zuma but Stella was kind now that she knew the truth.
''Don't worry my phone can be fixed.''
''Wait so that means..no punishment.''said Zuma with a smile. But it soon turned to horror.
''Of course you will get one. You firstly not only touch my phone but break it, then you lie to me and even bite my nose.''said Stella with a smile of herself.
''Please do not pull my ears. You know I hate that one the most.''pleaded Zuma. But Stella wanted to have fun.
''And you know I like that one the most. So which ear you chose?''said Stella before grabbing both of his ears with her paws. She was going to pull only one, the one who Zuma choses. Yesterday she pulled his left ear so he chose the right one. But to his surprise she didn't pull it, she put her mouth on it and began to chew without using her teeth. It ticked and Zuma wanted her to stop but she was holding him down with her body, again not using her weight but just staging on him.
''HAHAHA..PLEASE STOP..IT'S SO WEIRD…''laughed Zuma and Stella did that for some time. But soon stopped and she said some important stuff.
''If you ever do something tell me, don't try to hide it, you saw what happened yesterday, I guess you don't really like to kept like that don't you little bro?''said Stella.
''I don't get one thing, you are my guardian and my sister. Do you really need to punish me? When we were little you didn't do such things, but nowadays I obey you like you are my owner.''said Zuma. He just wanted to know that's all.
''I punish you since one: you live under my roof so therefore you obey me, two I didn't punish you when we were little since our parents did that and three you always obey me since I'm the older one and I know better. And also I sometimes find punishing you kind of funny.''said Stella. That might sound crazy but the punishing of others for Stella at least is found funny but under some limits obviously.
''And to think that I wanted a brother..''said Zuma and Stella didn't enjoy that.
''Yeah and to think that I wanted a little sister, but hey you can't always get what you want, right?''responded Stella earning a glare from Zuma. ''What?''
''You're not funny.''said Zuma with crossed paws.
''And you are small.''responded Stella with a chuckle.
''And you are fat.''responded Zuma, sticking his tongue out.
''And I'm going to ground you.''growled Stella, not liking to be called fat. And with that Zuma stopped.
''*Sighed* You win..''said Zuma lowering his head in defeat.
''I always win.''whispers Stella into his ear.
''You jerk..''said Zuma, now not looking at her anymore.
''Oh come on, you know I like to annoy you since you are my little brother.''said Stella, giving him a rub on the head.
''And if I try to annoy my big sister I get grounded, life is fair isn't it?''said Zuma.
''Yeah. And I like that.''responded Stella with a smile.
''Are you done?''
''Yeah.''
''Good, then can we eat something? These pancakes didn't really satisfy me.''said Zuma with his belly still growling.
''Yeah, let me cook something..''
And the day went on and nothing really happened. Exempt Stella annoying Zuma with some of her jokes.
The end.
AN: I know this might be a short story but I just thought of it and wrote it in 2 days. Next time I might do the past story looking at the past of Stella and Zuma when they were younger. And maybe even feature a younger Luna and Coco. Who knows. But until then I was your writer Skeldude and I will see you next time…
