Hunter went first…but only so the others couldn't see his tears.
The tears were so thick in his eyes, he didn't even try to see past them.
The Demon Realm was a blur as his eyes stung.
The feeling in his chest was so hollow, yet so heavy.
He didn't know how it happened, but he did not resist when Willow pulled him close.
The tightness of the embrace broke the dam.
Hunter's tears stained the fabric onto which he cried, his anguished sobs muffled as well.
And before long, Willow's arms were joined by a plethora of others.
And despite the sorrow he felt, Hunter managed a weak smile, and the hollowness in his heart began to fill.
And with that, the voices of his friends…
NO!
His family, whispered in his ears…
"For Flapjack."
