A/N #1: Just a heads-up as I don't want to mislead Overwatch fans. This crossover is mainly Spider-Man centric, as this fic is basically about him and the characters related to him simply being in the Overwatch universe. There are still some details that are present (like omnics, references of two Overwatch hero characters) so I hope it makes up for it. (I also included League of Legends' K/DA as an easter egg not just because I'm a fan but also because I think their aesthetic fits the future world of Overwatch. I hope that makes sense.) Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy reading this fic!

During one afternoon at a graveyard somewhere, a hovering robot caretaker vacuumed several dry leaves on the ground before going to another spot to clean it. Other than the noises the caretaker made, the place was real quiet. There was a huge number of graves on the field, accompanied by trees without leaves.

In front of one of the graves, there was a brunette man in his mid-20s with blue eyes. He wore an unzipped dark red jacket with a white shirt underneath it, a pair of blue jeans, a pair of snickers, and a backpack slung over his shoulders. He crouched, getting rid of the weeds surrounding the gravestone. Then, he laid down a few forget-me-not flowers on the ground gently. He turned to the gravestone and let out a small sigh. "Hey, Gwen..." Peter Parker smiled somberly as he looked at the grave's inscription with weary eyes.

"In the loving memory of Gwendolyne Maxine Stacy. Daughter, friend, and love. 31st December 2050 - 21st June 2071. 'Be greater than what we suffer and be the light in this dark world.'"

Peter sat down and crossed his legs. "I... I got a nightmare this morning. It's still the same one for four years," he said, "Me trying to save you so many times, only for you to die over and over while the Green Goblin laughs..." He closed his eyes, trying his best not to recall the details of that particular memory. "Four years carrying this burden. I don't know if I can move on from losing you. I kept thinking of ways I could've done things differently, Gwen... But of course, I can't change what already happened and I gotta live with the guilt." He began to sob, his voice cracking as he held back his tears. "I didn't mean to- I didn't mean to rob your dreams away, Gwen. I never wanted to ruin the things we had. I didn't intend to cause a suffering in your family. I'm- I'm sorry..." Peter opened his eyes. "I missed you," he said, before turning his attention to a couple of graves not far from him. Graves of his parents, aunt May, and uncle Ben with forget-me-not flowers. "I missed you all..."

As he cried, the wind blew to Peter's direction softly. Like it was comforting him.

"I never blamed you, Pete. Please...don't be hard on yourself." a familiar feminine voice whispered to his ear with sadness in her voice.

Peter gasped and turned around immediately. "G-Gwen?" No one was behind him. He sighed and stood up, wiping the tears off his face, before walking away.

When he exited the graveyard, something buzzed in Peter's pocket. He pulled out his smartphone and looked at its screen to find a reminder saying "Leesha's Support Group in 30 Minutes!" "Well, I guess I better go to the meeting location now. Don't wanna be late," he shoved his phone back into the pocket and started walking.

In the middle of Peter's journey however, his spider sense buzzed and he shifted his attention to the source of the danger. A chase occurred between an NYPD hovercar, its sirens blaring, and a black hovervan on the street. Some pedestrians screamed in fear and got out of the way as the van rammed through vehicles.

"Stand down! You are under arrest for robbery of gold. Stop the vehicle immediately or we'll have to use force!" one of the police officers in the car said through the PA.

"Ain't gonna!" a robber kept speeding up the vehicle, "You won't stop us!"

Seeing that he needed to stop the robbers from hurting or taking innocent lives and committing more crimes, Peter looked around for a safe spot to suit up and found an empty alleyway nearby. He went there and put on an equipment with electrodes attached to the skin of his throat, along with a wireless earbud on his ear. Said earbud was connected to the equipment.

"Suit up," Peter spoke subvocally, not opening his mouth. The equipment beeped and flashed its green LED light after recognizing the command.

"Starting suit-up process," an AI voice notified Peter Parker through the earbud and a light construct soon enveloped his whole body. Just a few seconds later, the construct disappeared and Peter was in his red and blue Spider-Man suit. Complete with a pair of "revolver" web-shooters on the wrists and his belt of gadgets.

"Test revolver mechanism," Spider-Man commanded and the cylinder of each web shooter holding the web fluid cartridges rotated. "Load cartridge." A mechanism then connected a filled cartridge with the shooter. He proceeded to tap a button on his palm with his middle finger and ring finger, shooting a web splat toward a wall. "Everything works just fine. Time to get those robbers."

He ran up on the wall and shot two web lines before pulling them to propel himself upward to the air. Spider-Man then began to swing from building to building on a fast pace to catch up with the robbers. "Better do this quickly before anyone gets hurt and I come late," Peter thought. However, things got slightly complicated when he saw the hovervan about to hit a pair of humanoid omnics (robots), who froze and screamed. Underneath the mask, Spider-Man's eyes widened in horror and web-zipped toward the pair and swooped them up to the side of the road.

Spider-Man put down the omnics gently and asked with concern in his voice. "Are you two okay?"

"Y-Yes," one of the omnics stuttered.

"Thank you, sir. We appreciate it," the other said.

A smile formed on his face and he nodded, before resuming his pursue against the robbers.

"Shit, bughead's onto us!" another robber, the driver, realized this and increased the vehicle's speed. Yet, Spider-Man managed to keep up with the robbers and landed on top of the van.

He opened the right door, grabbed the first robber by the collar and threw him away, webbing him on the wall. Then Spidey proceeded with the left door and did the same to the driver. After that, he leaped to the front of the hovervan and placed his hands on its hood, exerting much force on the speeding vehicle. Spider-Man grunted, feeling slightly overwhelmed as he stopped the van, to the point of leaving several dents on the plating. He breathed in relief, glad the threat was gone. Although he hated that damage was done in the process.

The pedestrians cheered after Spider-Man caught the robbers.

"Yo, Spidey! You the man!" a man screamed, which made the arachnid hero chuckle.

"No, you're the man!" Spider-Man replied.

The police hovercar stopped behind the van and a police officer stepped out of the vehicle. Spidey turned his attention to the man and nodded. "Officer," he greeted.

"Thanks for the help, Webhead. Things could've gotten worse," the policeman expressed his gratitude.

"Glad I could be of help," Spider-Man saluted. He turned to one of the robbers webbed on the wall. "Tsk tsk tsk. You and your partner just got into Santa's naughty list this year," he laughed, which earned an annoyed groan from the robber. "Well, enjoy your Christmas gift early, which is prison time. Say hi from me to your pals in prison, will you?"

He shot a web line to a nearby building and swung away. But not before telling everyone to take care and wish them a good day. The pedestrians chanted his name as he slowly disappeared from their view. Another police officer exited the car and he and the first policeman smiled at Spider-Man. The two proceeded to arrest the robbers and brought them to the police station.

(A few minutes later...)

"Detransform," Spider-Man spoke subvocally in a quiet alleyway. The suit quickly disappeared in the blink of an eye, leaving Peter in his civilian clothes. He put the equipment and the earbud into the backpack and left the alleyway.

He walked onto a somewhat crowded street, looking for a certain small building. The road's traffic was busy, filled with hovering cars and cycles. Some tall buildings surrounded the area with holographic billboards displaying advertisements of a Korean mech pilot called D.Va, a well-known DJ named LĂșcio from Rio de Janeiro, and a K-pop girl group called K/DA.

When Peter looked up and noticed Ahri from one of the K/DA ads, he couldn't help but smile like a kid as he saw his favorite singer. He recalled that her solo song, about perseverance, was something he could resonate with, given the number of problems and enemies he had faced due to being Spider-Man for nearly a decade. Sometimes he would listen to Ahri's song whenever he needed a little morale boost.

Peter continued walking and entered the small building, which had two floors. Once inside, he went into a well-lit room with light blue and grey colors on its wall. In the middle of it, there were a circle of nine foldable chairs. Sitting on one of them was a woman with shoulder length platinum blonde hair in a black leather outfit. She was reading a Walt Whitman poem on her phone, waiting patiently.

"Leesha?" Peter called out to Felicia, the blonde with icy blue eyes.

She looked up at her friend and smiled as she got off the chair, approaching him. "Right on time. I thought you would be late, Pete."

"What, you heard the news?"

"Mhm. I saw someone livestreaming on FacePunch about you stopping those two robbers."

He smiled sheepishly and scratched the back of his head. "Well, someone's gotta do something, right? I can't just let them hurt anyone."

Felicia patted Peter on the shoulder and let out a chuckle. "I can understand that, bud. Anyway, have a seat while we wait for the others. We still have 10 minutes left."

Soon, they heard the sound of footsteps behind them, catching their attention.

"Ah, MJ! Welcome. Have a seat!" said Felicia to the woman with long red hair and emerald green eyes. She wore a sleeveless black shirt, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of heels. MJ flashed a smile and nodded at her.

Peter tilted his head in confusion as he saw the actress and model who got popular recently after starring in a few successful indie films. "Wait, MJ? As in, THE Mary Jane Watson?" He was flabbergasted, never expected to meet a famous person, let alone join a support group.

MJ laughed, "I take it you're a fan of mine?"

"Y-Yeah..." Peter stuttered, "This is unbelievable."

"Well, face it, Tiger," she winked, "You just hit the jackpot."

Peter just stood there, speechless and enamored by the redhead.

Felicia couldn't help but shake her head in amusement. "This is gonna be the start of something interesting," she thought.

- THE END -

A/N #2: To shed some more light on this crossover one-shot, it's a prototype for a crossover Spider-Man fic I've been planning to do. Actually, it's one of many Overwatch/Spider-Man crossovers I wanna do in the future. I hope it's a dream that will come true. On another note, if you feel Felicia Hardy's portrayal is different than her comic counterpart, it's intentional. This version of Felicia is a homage and a tribute to a good friend of mine, who is also a writer and a poet. He loves Marvel and Black Cat, hence one of the reasons why I wanna honor my friend. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed reading the fic! Let me know what you think of it by commenting. And feel free to favorite and follow this fic and me, as I would appreciate it. Have a good day, readers! :D

Extra note: I'm currently doing an AU Spider-Man longfic called "Scarlet Spider Spider-Man: Enter the Black Cat." It's on FFN and AO3. Feel free to check it out!
