Walking onto the bridge with Master Yoda, I watched as the commander turned to us. "General, the torgarians signal is active, but all of our transmissions are being jammed." He informed, with me closing my eyes, reaching out with the force. Feeling a force user down below, I turned to Master Yoda and saw him looking at me as well with a knowing expression on his face. Watching a cruiser come out of hyperspace in front of us, I braced myself as they started shooting us down. "We're losing our shields!" He said as he grabbed both seats in front of him.
"Too late it is, sprung the trap, it is." Master Yoda informed, making me sigh as this was just another mission gone wrong.
"Our mission is down below, head for the moon below!" I ordered while pointing at said moon.
"General, we must retreat!" He protested as he turned towards me.
"Quickly now, reach the planets surfice we must." Yoda said, with me turning with him towards the back so that they could continue their mission.
"In an escape pod? General, they will shoot down anything we launch!" He protested, with me smirking at that.
"Then launch them all, give them more targets to hit!" I said, looking at him as he had a shocked expression on his face. Reaching the escape pod, three clones entered with both Master Yoda and I. Sitting across from Master Yoda, the escape pods were launched.
Looking out the glass, we could see the other escape pods being struck down without much trouble. Once we reached the planet's surface, they stopped firing on us. "That was a close one!" The pilot said as he relaxed.
"General, I think we are out of range." The Arc Trooper to my left said, with me looking at him.
"Yes, we are." I said, then looked over at Master Yoda.
"Entering another trap, we are." Master Yoda informed, with me nodding as I waited for the next trap to start.
Later
Stepping out of the pod, I watched as the other clones walked over towards the Arc Trooper and Master Yoda. Following them, I looked towards the meeting point, with me knowing that we were going to have to fight our way to get there. 'No, that would be suicide.' I thought as I looked in the other direction. 'We bring them further in and take them.' I thought as I walked over to Master Yoda.
"A pleasure it is to hear your voice, your highness. Master Yoda of the Jedi council, this is." Master Yoda introduced as I took up a meditation position as I waited for his conversation to end. I focused on one point and one point only, my husband, who was currently on another mission. He was currently working on the Ebon Hawk.
"Master Jedi, I had thought that Count Duku had frightened you off". King Katuunko said, where I could feel the hesitation of his words.
"Delayed I may have been, but not too far away, am I now. Unaware I was, that Count Duku was invited to our meeting." Yoda said, where I focused on the King Katuunko, with me feeling a weaker force user than Count Duku.
"Ventress." I said, with Yoda looking towards me and then back at the communicator.
"The Count invited himself. He assures me that in this time of war, these droids can offer me greater security than our jedi." King Katuunko said, with me wanting to scuff at that but held it in.
"A matter of debate, that is." Yoda answered, with me smiling as that was true.
"Your majesty might want more than words?" We heard Ventress speak, with me opening my eyes and watched as she appeared.
"What did you have in mind?" King Katuunko said, with me knowing she was going to start hunting us.
"If Yoda is indeed the warrior he is said to be, let him prove it." She said, where I stood up onto my feet. "Allow me to send my best troops to capture him. If he escapes, join the republic. But if my droids defeat Yoda, consider an alliance with the separatist." She said, with me smirking as she didn't involve me, nor did she know I was with them.
"I did not call Yoda here to test him in battle!" King Katuunko said, with Yoda looking towards him.
"Accept the challenge, I do, your highness." Yoda said, looking towards me. "Arrive by nightfall, I will." Yoda said before communications were cut off. Looking towards the sky, Yoda smiled. "Beautiful this moon is, amazing this universe is." Yoda said, where we saw a shadow consume most of the area.
"Sepritist drop ship." I said, with the clones looking at him. "Come, we have a long trip ahead of us.' I said, kneeling down and alowing Yoda to hop onto my back, where we started walking the other way.
"Carry only what you need, too much weight, slow it down it will." Yoda said as he placed both hands onto my shoulders as I walked. "Destroy Ventress, your weapons will not." Yoda added, with me nodding as that was the truth.
"Miss, the ron-de-vue point is that way." The Arc Trooper said as he pointed towards the correct direction.
"As is our enemy." I said, turning to face them as I walked backwards. "In order to reach our goal, we won't be walking the straight path, as most of you have been shown. There is always another way to win a battle, not with strength, but mind." I said, getting a chuckle from Yoda as I turned around to continue on our way.
Later
Getting shot at by the tanks, I turned around and watched the gunfire miss. Seeing the troops start to take aim, I held my hand out. "Hold your fire, we are not in range." I said, with them looking at me and then back at the tanks.
After a bit, the tanks stopped shooting, with the Arc Trooper using his visor to see deeper into the forest. "Those tanks are too big to follow." He said, before turning to Yoda as he giggled.
"See, See! Size is not everything!" He said with a hum. "Smaller in size, are we, but larger in Mind!" Yoda said as he laughed as I turned around to continue on our way.
"Do you know what the general is talking about, Miss?" One of the clones asked, with me looking at them.
"We're smarter than some dumb droids." I cleared up, with them getting up and following me.
Later
Hearing rocks fall behind us, I placed Yoda down. "Sir, there are two patrols coming in on foot." The Arc Trooper said, where I turned to face him.
"We will set up an ambush, take them by surprise." I said with a smirk as I followed the troopers. "Master Yoda, leave them with me, continue on your way." I said, looking over my shoulder, where he nodded and started walking in another direction.
"We will flank then from the south." The Arc Trooper said, with me going towards their front. "Miss, the south?" He asked, with me turning to him.
"That is your ambush point, mine is directly in front of them." I said, turning away and continuing on my way.
Later
Sitting on a tree, I watched as one of the droid's head was shot off. "What was that?" Another asked as he too was shot.
"Blast him!" Another said as they started shooting at the clone. Stepping in front of them, I held a hand up, where all of their guns were removed. "Wait, that's not the Jedi we were told about? He isn't a she nor is she small and green?" The droid said as I turned the guns down to them and tossed them at the droids. "It's raining blasters!" The droid said as it covered its head.
"No, you idiot, it's raining blaster rifles!" Another said as it did the same as the others.
"Ok clankers, suck lasers!" The Clone called out as he gunned them all down, with me crossing my arms as the blasters flew past me. Once they were all done and gone, I turned towards them and nodded.
"Where is the general?" Another asked as they walked up to me.
"He is off having his own fun.' I said, where I saw a group of super battle droids heading this way. "Fall back!" I ordered as I pulled out my red and purple lightsabers and deflected the blaster fire that would have hit us.
Later
Jumping over a rock, I landed behind the clones and deflected the shots fired at us. Seeing one fire a rocket at the clone. I put my sabers away and held my hand out. Catching the rocket with the force, I spun around and sent it back, destroying two of them in the process. Pulling my sabers back out, I blocked another blaster bold that almost hit him.
"I hope we are buying the general enough time!" The Arc Trooper said before he got behind cover with the others and started shooting at the droids.
Seeing Yoda runing towards us, he jumped from one super battle droid to another until he reached us, where we sent blaster fire back towards them, taking them out. Getting behind cover, I looked towards them as I was behind another rock by myself. "What are we going to do sir?" The Arc Trooper asked, where Yoda put his lightsaber away and sat down in front of them.
Understanding his meaning, I too put my sabers away and entered my meditation position. "What are you two doing?" The clone asked, where both Master Yoda and I picked up two different Super Battle Droids and had them gun down the others. "You two are something else." The clone said, with me standing up and turning towards the same direction we came from.
"We have to move; Destroyers are on the way." I said, with Yoda jumping onto a clones back, where we took off as we could hear them now.
Later
"This is it." I said, where the clones and Yoda looked at me. "This is where we make our come back." I said, walking towards the tunnels.
"Are you sure we should go in there? There is only one way in and out." The clone asked, with me looking towards them.
"Trust in her, older than I am, she is." Yoda said, with me glaring at him. "Apologize, I do. Learn from each other, we do." Yoda said as he walked into the cave, with me nodding as that was true.
"I may look young, but I am as old as the Old Republic. I fought in it, learned from it, ended it. Nothing they throw at us will stop us." I said, looking at the clones. "Now, rest, we must prepare for the final fight." I said, with them following me inside.
Later
"We're low on ammo, sir." I heard, with me looking at the clone as he spoke. "Only two grenades, and one rocket for the launcher." He informed, with me closing my eyes as I meditated.
"Against a battalion? Forget it, we've lost." The second clone said, with me feeling his despair, all of their despair.
All but Yoda's.
"So certain of defeat, are you?" Yoda asked, looking at each of them.
"With respect, General, you should go on. Let us slow them down!" The Arc Trooper said, with me standing up, where they all looked towards me.
"You still don't see the picture that we have painted." I said, with the clones looking at each other and then back at me. Holding my hand out, I removed their helmets, with them looking at each other. "You may look the same, but you each have your own unique abilities, Trates, and personalities." I said, hovering the helmets in front of me. "I remember a time when the Mandalorian armor struck fear into the galaxy. I remember, killing all who deserved to die. I ended that war, and it even haunted me for years after. Jedi weren't soldiers, we were peacekeepers, and even then, we are still making the same mistake as then. I fell to the dark side because of that, and I too was defeated. But, if I did not get involved, I would have never met my husband, a Mandalorian. He was not a soldier, nor a fighter when I first met him. He was an older brother, and he wanted to protect his sister. She became a jedi, and he was left alone to travel the stars. The next time I met him, I had no memory of my time as a Sith, and at first, he was annoying, always hitting on me, but that stopped once I became a jedi again. He showed me that he could be compassionate, caring, and even strong when others needed it. He was my strength when I needed it. Now, we are both separated by this war. I miss the friends we made along the way, either killed or died to old age." I said, remembering the jedi of old. "Those friends, learned about themselves through the years." I said, looking at them, then Yoda.
"Greves." Yoda said as he got up and walked over to the clone. "Focused on the enemy you are, look inside for inspiration." Yoda said as he tapped his armor and then around him as he walked. "Jack. Concerned about weapons." Yoda said as he closed the backpack. "Your mind, powerful weapon it is. Outthink the droids, you can." Yoda said as he pointed towards him. "Fire." Yoda said as he walked over to the last one. "Rush not into fights, long is the war, only by surviving it, will you prevail." Yoda said, smiling at him, where I returned each of their helmets, placing them in their hands.
"You may be clones, but the force resides is all of us. Use it to quiet your mind." I said as Yoda sat down on his rock once more, looked towards the entrance as we heard the droids coming.
Later
"Tanks, that's the best they can throw at us?" Fire said, looking towards Jack.
"Yeah, but I only have one shot." Jack said, with me shaking my head and walking in the direction they were coming from, not towards them.
"Master Yoda, I believe it is time to let the force guide them, as with you." I said, looking over my shoulder as I walked away. "I will move ahead and encounter Ventress." I said, getting a nod from Yoda as he turned towards the tanks once more.
Later
Reaching the meeting, I saw King Katuunko speaking with Duku. "So be it, perhaps our negotiations will be more fruitful with your successor! Ventress, kill him!" Duku ordered, with me jumping over the cliff I was at and landing in front of Ventress, extending both my sabers out. Standing up to my full height, I watched as she took a step back. Getting into my combat stance, I blocked the blasters sent at me and destroyed the droids.
"Now, now, you should follow the rules, youngling." I said, smirking at her as I aimed my saber at her. She went to attack but was stopped. "Master Yoda, a pleasure to see you." I said, putting my lightsabers away.
"You as well, Revan, quite the walk you took, a run for us it was." Yoda said, with me smiling at him.
"Patiance is a virtue." I said, looking from him and at the still stuck Ventress. Taking her sabers away, she looked at me in shock. "She has failed you, and in my day, that was death. But there is so few Sith these days, it's a shame." I said, passing them back to her, where she examined her lightsabers. She put her lightsabers onto her hips and pulled out a switch, which she pressed.
Looking up at the hill, we watched as rocks fell towards us. Yoda held his hands out, stopping them from hitting us. Looking towards Ventress, I watched her fly away. "In the end, cowards are those who follow the dark side." Yoda said, with me looking at him as I was NOT a coward. If I wanted something done, I did it myself.
"It is a pity I wasnt there in person, my old master." Duku said, with me rolling my eyes as it would not have changed.
"A pity indeed, my fallen apprentice." Yoda said as communications were cut. "Now, perhaps we can begin with negotiations." Yoda said as he turned towards King Katuunko.
"That is not necessary." King Katuunko said, with me looking at him as he pulled his sword out and held it up. "Hondaria would be honored to host a republic base, as are my people." He said, putting his sword away and held it out to Yoda.
"Your majesty, fail you we will not." Yoda said, with all of us turning towards the sky as a republic Cruser appeared. Soon republic drop shops moved in, with one being the Ebon Hawk.
Smiling, I walked over to where it landed, with the hatch opening for me. Getting in, I made my way to the cockpit, with me seeing Dakota standing up. "Hey, miss me?" Dakota asked as he held his arms out, where I pushed him back down into the pilot seat while I sat down myself.
"Always." I answered, where we started taking off, following Yoda's Drop ship.
