Molly Hale pulled a reluctant Allister into the store, his friend's beaming smile rendered him helpless, and refused to cause her to frown, his Gengar snickered at him, trailing behind them as he kept watch over the two.

Molly's teddiursa held the taller pokémon's hand, curiously looking at the different costumes hung all over.

Molly rushed over to a particular rack, holding out the costume to Ali, who felt his face flood red, he stumbled over his words, getting a confused look from Molly.

Molly started giggling, cooing at her friend's awkward blush, she finally spoke.

"This outfit is for me! I would never! Chirps Molly, hugging her friend with a tight squeeze.

"I know, just..some kids I knew before I was a gym leader.." left off Allister, squirming uncomfortably.

"Forget them, you've grown so much since then! I know you're the best gym leader ever! Boasted Molly, beaming a smile at Allister who gave her a shy one back. Soon after they rushed to another clothing rack of costumes, giggling to themselves as they played around.

Allister put on fuzzy wolf ears, as he turned to see Molly twirling in a Princess Peach dress, her giggles contagious as Allister felt warm looking at her brightness.

"Princess Peach? You're more like Rosalina." Suggesting Allister under his breath, Molly heard him, barely sending him a look, as Allister shrugged sheepishly.

"Well, what about you? What do you plan on going as?" Asks Molly, curiously eyeing the wolf ears in Allister's hair and the familiar red cloak tied around his shoulders.

Allister shifted his feet a bit, not looking at Molly, his face a bit red, trying to hide.

"Alli?"

"I'm a red-riding wolf!" exclaimed Allister, clutching the cloak tightly in his fists, his embarrassment seeping in waves.

"Allister, it's okay! I think it's a great idea!" Reassures Molly, patting his shoulder.

Allister gave a nervous smile back, his breathing going back to normal slowly.

Molly turned back to the rack, looking for Rosalina, already having luma plush in Allister's room they shared whenever she came to Galar.

Finding what she was looking for, she grabbed Alli's hand pulling him to the dressing room, the room was practically empty except for a few stragglers that were trying on stuff as well.

Molly and Allister rushed to different stalls, finishing up the costumes they chose, till Molly heard a tap on the wall next to her. Giggling, she tapped back, sending a message to let him know, she was almost done as he did the same in reply.

Allister greeted Molly as she left her stall, the two of them left the changing room, heading toward the register to buy their attended items.

At home, Bea waited by the living room for the kids to show her their costumes, fast steps hurried over to her as she saw the both of them changed into their costumes.

"You both look great!" Complimented Bea, cooing at two, in their costumes.

"Thank you, bea!"

"Thank you, sis.."

"Change out of them for now, it's almost time for your favorite movie to be on," commented Bea offhandedly knowing the two will be quicker.

"Is it Halloween Town?!" Asked Molly, hopping onto the couch, her teddiursa sleepily nodding off by the kotatsu.

"I hope it's hocus pocus.." murmurs Allister, shifting into his seat by his friend.

"You're both right. The movies are one after the other, so you'll be able to see both." Bea placed the popcorn between the two, letting her have her own as the kids eat the salty treat in silence, both visibly shaking with excitement as the opening plays for the movie. Gengar rested near the two, keeping an eye on them, as Bea went to her room, allowing them to be unsupervised, trusting that they would be okay. Bea let the noise of the tv, lull her to sleep, as she fell into complete slumber.
