Amphibia

Save the Date

Darrel Loyalitat is a bright young lad, who once believed in the realities of life. He found it hard to believe in miracles, until one day he discovered one. At the age of thirteen, he, Anne, Sasha, and Marcy, were transported into a land of talking frogs, newts, toads, and salamanders. There, he met two salamander wizards named Tint and Cronaxx. That miracle made him the man he is today. He graduated from college with a degree in astronomy. He made great friends with his roommates, Ivan Munroad, Frank Ramirez, Hershel Huges, and Ethan Day. His progress even got him a job offer as the Griffith Observatory's astronomer. And through all the hard work he endured, he felt so proud of himself. But nothing could prepare him for what happened next.

One day, Darrel was in the guest room of one of the hotels he was staying in. He was dressed in a blue suit with a white collared shirt and a blue jacket. He wore dark blue pants, black polished shoes, he even wore Tint's purple scarf and the necklace that contained the shard of the Eternal Staff's gemstone. He takes a deep breath and looks in the mirror. "Well Darrel," he said to himself. "Today's the day."

He looks at his photos of him and his best friends. Most of them were from college, and some of them were from middle school. But the one standing on top of all of them, was a photo of his girlfriend, Anne Boonchuy. He gazed romantically at the photo, brushed it with his index finger, and before long, he was lost in his own fantasy.

A knock on the door was heard, snapping Darrel back to reality. He asked, "Who is it?" "It's Ivan," the voice replied. Darrel sighed in relief, then opened the door. "It's almost time," said Ivan. "And as your best man, I have to make sure you're ready for your wedding photos before the ceremony begins." Darrel nodded, "I've been ready since I woke up this morning."

Ivan goes over to Darrel to readjust his scarf. "Are you sure you don't want a tie instead?" he asked. Darrel touches his scarf. "I never go anywhere without this scarf and crystal," replied Darrel. "These items have made a major impact on my life. Without them, I wouldn't have had the courage to be who I am today." Ivan smiled, "You are definitely not the same kid who was too shy and had trouble reading."

Darrel looks at his photo of Anne, "It seemed like only yesterday that I asked my childhood friend to marry me." His mind goes back to a few months ago when he and his family were on vacation in Louisiana…

Flashback

It was Spring Break and Darrel and his family planned to take a vacation in the state of Louisiana. Darrel looks down to a little black box in his hand and goes over to his parents. "Mom, Dad, can I ask you something?" "Of course," said Matthew. "What is it?" Darrel took a deep breath, "Is it okay if we invite Anne with us to Louisiana? We haven't seen each other since we graduated high school, and I thought this would be a great opportunity to catch up."

Matthew and Sarah were a little hesitant, "Well we're going to catch our flight in two weeks, and we need to make sure her parents are okay with it." "I'm sure they'll be okay with it," said Darrel. "We've been talking about this a couple months ago." While he wasn't looking, Amelia snatched something from his backpack. "Does it have something to do with this?" she asked. She shows her parents the small black box and opens it to reveal a blue diamond engagement ring.

Matthew and Sarah gasped in excitement, "You're going to ask her to marry you?!" Knowing the cat's out of the bag, Darrel smiled from ear to ear and nodded. "Oh my God!" Jane squealed. "This is amazing!" "Please Mom, can Anne come with us?" Amelia asked. "I want my brother to ask the question." Since Jane and Amelia voted for her to come, Matthew and Sarah nod at each other in agreement. "Alright," they said. "But the Boonchuys need to know about this first." Darrel nodded, "Of course."

Darrel walked to the Boonchuy's house and called Anne on his phone. Ever since she gave her old phone to Sprig, she got out and got a new phone. He dialed Anne's number and waited for her to answer. After a few seconds, Anne picks up. "Hello?" "Hey Anne," said Darrel. "It's me." "Oh hey Darrel," said Anne. "So did you tell them?" "I did," he replied. "And they said yes." "That's great," said Anne. "Now," said Darrel. "We've got to ask your parents about this." Anne agreed.

Shortly after, Darrel arrived at the Boonchuy's house. He knocked on the door and Mrs Boonchuy smiled when she answered. "Hello Darrel," she said. "It's so wonderful you came to visit." "It has been a few years," said Darrel. Mrs Boonchuyinvited him into their house. "Anne's upstairs right now, so if you want to wait for her…" "I'll wait," said Darrel. "I've been meaning to ask you something. As a matter of fact, I was hoping to tell you and Mr Boonchuy."

Mrs Boonchuy was most surprised. "Oh, okay…" "Honey?" Mr Boonchuy asked. "Is everything alright?" "It is," she replied. "Darrel's here and he was hoping to ask us something important." "Oh, of course," he said. "Please come in, Darrel. Would you like anything?" "Water should be fine, please," said Darrel. Mr Boonchuy goes into the kitchen and gets a water bottle out of the fridge.

In the living room, Darrel, Mr and Mrs Boonchuy sat down. Darrel broke the silence and went straight to the point. "The reason I came by is because I was hoping with your permission, I would like to invite Anne to come to Louisiana with us." Mr and Mrs Boonchuy were most surprised. "Oh, and what made you decide that?" Mrs Boonchuy asked. "Last I heard, you two took a break from your relationship." "We did," said Darrel. "But eventually, we started talking during college, and we've decided to resume our relationship since we're close to finishing school."

Darrel takes a deep breath, "But what made me decide that is the second part of this conversation." He takes a sip of his water and clears his throat. "We've known each other for a long time, and she's been there for me when I needed it most. I couldn't ask for a best friend, an awesome girlfriend, other than your daughter. And that's why, with your permission…" He takes out the small box containing his engagement ring. "I would like to marry your daughter."

Mr and Mrs Boonchuy were shocked by the announcement. So shocked, that Mrs Boonchuy got up and looked down at Darrel with a stern look. "You really love my daughter?" Darrel gulped, "M-more than anything." "Darrel?" Mr Boonchuy asked with a stern look. "Y-yes, Mr Boonchuy?" His stern look turned into a happy face. "Call me Bee." He locks Darrel in a strong bear hug. "And call me Oum," said Mrs Boonchuy, as she joined in on the hug.

"So that's a yes?" Darrel asked. "Of course," said Mrs Boonchuy. "You of all people, asking us to marry our daughter. We couldn't ask for anyone else to spend the rest of her life with. Just promise us you'll let us know what happens shortly after." Darrel was ecstatic with their answer, especially since Anne came down shortly after.

"Anne," said Mrs Boonchuy. "Yes Mom?" Anne asked. "We've decided to give you permission to go to Louisiana with your boyfriend," said Mr Boonchuy. "Really?" Anne was so excited. "Just promise us you'll let us know when you get there and tell us how things are going," said Mrs Boonchuy. "Okay, I promise," said Anne.

Shortly after a couple more weeks, Anne and the Loyalitats arrived in Louisiana. They spent most of the week sightseeing, enjoying food at the restaurants, and finding activities to entertain themselves. They enjoyed a ride on the riverboat, touring the bayou, seeing alligators pop out of the water. Darrel and Anne were enjoying the view of the bayou, thinking about the days they were in Amphibia. Darrel couldn't think of anything else more prettier than the environment.

Near the end of their week, Darrel grabbed the small black box and looked at himself in the hotel mirror. He knew that today's the day he was going to ask Anne the big question. "This is it," his reflection told him. "You know today's the day." "I know," said Darrel. "But this question isn't easy." "Love is difficult," said his reflection. "It can be scary. But what's more scary is never knowing before it's too late." Darrel nodded, "Okay, let's do it." He touches Tint's purple scarf and his crystal and says, "Tint, Cronaxx, please give me strength."

Today, Darrel and Anne decided to spend the whole day together. They went to the streets of New Orleans, holding hands. They took photos at famous landmarks and talked about what they were going to do after school. "So, what are you going to do?" Darrel asked. "I'm going to work at the Aquarium of the Pacific and become a herpetologist," replied Anne. "The study of frogs," said Darrel. "I like that." "What are you going to do Darrel?" Anne asked. "I've already got a job offer to be an astronomer at the Griffith Observatory," replied Darrel. "That is when I've finished school in a few weeks." Anne smiled, "You sure have come a long way." "Out of everyone I've met, I have you to thank the most," said Darrel. Anne blushed and looked away flustered.

The two arrive at a classic Italian restaurant and have dinner there. They ordered their traditional favorite: Spaghetti and Meatballs. The two enjoyed their meals in peace, but then, music was heard across the way. The two hear the music and recognize the melody. It reminded them of their first date back in Amphibia. While they paid attention to the music, they took a bite of their pasta, unaware that a strand of spaghetti was connected to both plates. They instantly snap back to reality when their lips come into contact. The two blush in response and Darrel offers her his last meatball. The two gaze in each other's eyes and Darrel sees twinkling in Anne's.

After dinner, the two rent a rowboat at a local lake and they row out to Avery Island, one of the famous landmarks in the state. Darrel and Anne hop off the boat and look out at the environment. "So," said Darrel. "Did you enjoy dinner, Anne?" "I sure did," replied Anne. "Your family sure knew how to pick a great vacation spot." "Actually," said Darrel. "Louisiana was my idea." "What gave you that idea?" Anne asked.

Darrel reaches out to her, "Give me your hand." Anne slowly reaches out to his hand. "Now close your eyes," said Darrel. "This isn't an I'm Flying bit is it?" Anne asked. "It's not," said Darrel. "Just close your eyes." Anne smiles and closes them. Darrel takes both of her hands and smiles. "Listen carefully. What do you hear?" Anne concentrates on all the sounds of nature. "I hear frogs croaking, bugs buzzing all around, and the sound of the creek flowing past us."

Darrel smiled, "Good, now what do you feel?" Anne kept her absolute focus on her surroundings. "I feel like I'm slowly melting in the humidity. Kinda like…" "Like Amphibia?" Anne opened her eyes and nodded, "Yeah, like Amphibia." The two look at each other feeling melancholic. "Ever since we returned home, a day doesn't go by that I don't think about Amphibia," said Darrel. "All the adventures we've been through, the friends we've made, all the battles we've fought."

"I guess coming here helps cope with the pain," said Anne. "Perhaps," said Darrel. "But through it all, I had my friends to help guide me. And I had you." "Aww, Darrel," said Anne blushing. "I mean it," said Darrel. "Out of all the people I've met in Amphibia, you stand out because you have a great heart. Sasha's got strength, and Marcy's got the knowledge, but your heart is what kept us all together." Anne kept blushing with happiness.

"When I was first stranded in Amphibia, I didn't know what to expect. I was lost and all alone into the marshlands unknown. But when I found you using my magic, I felt like I wasn't lost anymore. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have found my voice, my courage, my faith that we would return home." Anne couldn't stop smiling, "And if it weren't for you, being there with me, that adventure wouldn't be as exciting."

Darrel looks to his pocket and takes another deep breath. "That's why I've decided on something." "What is it?" Anne asked. He takes her hands and looks deep into her eyes. "Being with you, has been the best thing that's ever happened to me." He gets down on one knee, surprising Anne. "And I want that to be a part of my life forever." He reaches in his pocket, takes out the small black box and reveals his engagement ring to her. Then asks her one final question, "Anne Savisa Boonchuy, will you marry me?"

Anne could not believe her eyes. Darrel Loyalitat, her childhood friend, her boyfriend who they've dated for years, is asking her to marry him. Her eyes started tearing up, unable to speak. "Da…Darrel?!" She sniffled and found the words to answer him, "Y…y-yes. Yes. Yes! YES!" Darrel couldn't believe his ears, his girlfriend agreed to marry him. The two share a passionate kiss and Darrel slips her engagement ring on her finger.

Flashback Ends

Back at the hotel, Darrel was outside with the photographer, thinking back to the moment his life changed forever. "Alright, let's bring in the groomsmen," said the photographer. Darrel gets in the middle of the courtyard along with Frank Ramirez, his officiant, Ivan Munroad, his best man, Kenji Loud, his ring bearer, Eddie Wu, Marcy's brother, Jake Zoobrawd, and Finn Jackson, all dressed in navy blue suits. Kenji was wearing a light blue bow tie. "Today's the day," said Frank. "Thanks for assigning me as your officiant." "Can't wait to see what Anne looks like," said Ivan.

On the other side of the hotel, Anne was fitting into her wedding dress with help from her mom. She was wearing a silk light green dress, strapped with gold lining, golden jewelry with blue stones like her calamity gem and engagement ring. Her hair is held into a bun, wearing a gold tiara and a white hair band. She also wore frog earrings, and around her neck is wrapped with flowers and a gold amulet with a blue stone.

"Oh Anne, your grandmother would be proud of you for wearing her wedding dress," said Mrs Boonchuy. "Mom, thank you for all your hard work," said Anne. "I'm just so proud of you right now." Mrs Boonchuystarted crying tears of joy. Anne did all she could to comfort her. "Oh mom, please don't cry. I'll still be your little girl." The two hug it out, trying not to ruin the wedding dress. "Come on, let's go show the girls what you're made of," said Mrs Boonchuy.

Anne's bridesmaids, Amelia Loyalitat, Jane Loyalitat, Sasha Waybright, Marcy Wu, Tyler Pepper, and Bailey Padilla were waiting nearby for the reveal of the bride. "Wonder what she's going to look like," said Amelia. "I'm not sure," said Tyler. "But I bet it's going to be great." "Are you kidding me?!" Marcy cried, "It is going to be awesome!" "Mrs B is making sure her wedding dress goes as planned," said Sasha.

Just then, Mrs Boonchuy went up right behind them and smiled, "Alright girls, behold the bride." The girls turn around and squeal with excitement with what they see. "Girl, you look fabulous!" Bailey cried. "This is amazing," said Jane. "Boonchuy, you look so gorgeous," said Sasha. "Darrel is going to freak out!" Marcy cried. Anne, Sasha, and Marcy gently hug, trying not to ruin her dress. "This is a family heirloom," said Anne. "My grandmother wore this on her wedding day. My mother wore this on her wedding day, and now passed down to me."

"I'm sure your grandmother would be very proud of you wearing that," said Amelia. "Alright," said the photographer. "Let's get ready so we can unveil to the groom." The girls gather together and let the photographer do their job. The group smile with delight, with excitement, and prepare to join the groomsmen. Before Anne could reveal herself to Darrel, she revealed her dress to her father next and he couldn't stop crying.

Back at the other side, Darrel heard that Anne was ready and the photographer instructed him to follow them until Anne was ready. He turns around nearby her location and closes his eyes. He waits for Anne until she slowly approaches behind him. She couldn't help but smile with excitement. "Okay, Darrel. You may turn around," said the photographer.

Darrel took a deep breath and turned with his eyes still shut. He opened them slowly to savor every second in his eyesight. He gazed at the magnificence of Anne's wedding dress. "Wow," he said. "You look beautiful." "Thanks," said Anne. "This was my grandmother's, passed down to my mom, to me." The two touched their foreheads and giggled, "I can't wait for the ceremony." "Me either." The two get in position for the photographer to do their job. They kept still to make the perfect wedding photo.

Later that day, the guests all took their seats in preparation for the wedding ceremony. The ceremony was outside overlooking the forest line not far from them. "Ladies and gentlemen," said Sasha. "Before we could begin, we ask politely if you could please silence your cell phones at this time." "Please refrain from flash photography," said Marcy. "And leave that to the professionals." The photographer and their assistant appear ready with their camera and camcorder.

Frank walks up the aisle ready with his officiating speech, and stands in front of the wedding guests. Then, Ivan walks up with Sasha and Marcy. Following them are Kenji with the wedding rings, and Jane alongside him. Behind them were Jake and Tyler, then Amelia and Finn, and finally Eddie and Bailey. All of the guests were excited for who's next in line. And they all stood as she arrived: Anne Boonchuy.

She walks up the aisle with her mom and dad, and they look at each other with pride. At the altar, Mr Boonchuy hands over his daughter to Darrel. The two shake hands and Mrs Boonchuy hugs her soon to be son-in-law. The two take their seats next to Matthew and Sarah, and the rest of the guests sit down along with them.

Frank opens his speech and begins the ceremony, "Friends, family, we are gathered here today to celebrate this special occasion. To join these two hearts in the bonds of marriage. I am so happy to be standing here to marry my best friend and the love of his life. And so there's something I like to say to everyone: 'How you doin'?" The guests laughed at the small joke. "Anyway, Anne and Darrel made it very clear that since the start of their wedding planning, that they wanted a day for their communities to come together and celebrate alongside them. So look around and remember the people you share witnessing this wonderful moment."

The guests look around, and over their shoulders, looking at each other to see who made it. There was Humphrey, Dr Jan, Terri, Jess, Ally, Molly Jo, Max Moore, Agustin Sanders, Ethan Day, and much much more. "Whether you are sitting next to a loved one or a stranger, let the vows given here today connect you all as we become one big, happy, dysfunctional family together." The crowd smiled, along with the bride and groom. The soon-to-be married couple look at each other with excited glances.

"You have known each other from the first glance of acquaintance to this point of commitment. At some point, you decided to marry. From that moment of yes to this moment of yes, indeed, you have been making promises and agreements in an informal way. All those conversations that were held riding in a car or over a meal or during long walks—all those sentences that began with "When we're married" and continued with "I will and you will and we will"—those late night talks that included "someday" and "somehow" and "maybe"—and all those promises that are unspoken matters of the heart."

"All these common things, and more, are the real process of a wedding. The symbolic vows that you are about to make are a way of saying to one another, "You know all those things we've promised and hoped and dreamed— well, I meant it all, every word." Look at one another and remember this moment in time. Before this moment you have been many things to one another—acquaintance, friend, companion, lover, dancing partner, and even teacher, for you have learned much from one another in these last few years. Now you shall say a few words that take you across a threshold of life, and things will never quite be the same between you. For after these vows, you shall say to the world, this—is my husband, this—is my wife."

"And now the bride and groom will let the dice decide who will exchange their vows first." Marcy comes up with a small box with a twenty sided die. Frank closes his speech, lays it flat for Darrel and Anne to roll. Darrel rolls first and rolls on the twenty. "Nat 20, baby!" he cried out. Anne decided to roll just for fun, and rolled a twelve.

Darrel takes out a piece of paper and recites his vows. "Anne, before we first met. I was just a young boy with an eye for illustrations. I was quiet, alone, all by myself. But then one day, while I was reading my favorite book. My first friend introduced me to you. You taught me how to read, and I was very grateful. Years later, I failed to pay a debt, and you aided my cut. And then one day, came Amphibia: The greatest adventure of my life. I found my courage, independence, and my voice. And with that voice, I have this to say. Anne, I love you with all my heart and I will continue to love you till this day. I pledge to always catch you before you stumble, to protect you from harm when I am in need of the same. Like my name, I stand loyal to my word, and my vows."

Anne takes out a piece of paper and recites her vows. "Darrel, from the moment we met I knew you were different. And not because you didn't know how to read. It was because the moment I first saw you, I knew you were filled with kindness, honesty, and loyalty. From that moment, I knew you would be my best friend, my boyfriend, my fiancé, and finally my husband. Falling in love with you is the easiest thing I have ever done. It feels like coming up for air after jumping into lake water. I promise to build our marriage on our strong friendship. And I promise to hold you tightly every day. Knowing how much you love me, and how much I love you."

Frank opened his speech again, "Do you Anne, take Darrel to be your husband? In sickness and in health, and cherish in love, in friendship, in strength, in weakness, and have faith in his love for you through all that life may bring?" Anne looked deep into Darrel's eyes, took his hands, and said two words that changed her life. "I do." Darrel smiled from ear to ear. "Do you Darrel," said Frank. "Take Anne to be your wife? In sickness and in health, and cherish in love, in friendship, in strength, in weakness, and have faith in her love for you through all that life may bring?" Darrel looked into her eyes and repeated her answer, "I do."

Frank nodded his head to Kenji, signaling his cue to give the bride and groom their rings. "Now Anne," said Frank. "Since Darrel got to recite his vows, you will be the first to exchange your ring." Anne takes Darrel's ring from Kenji and takes Darrel's hand. "Repeat after me," said Frank. Anne nodded in response.

"With this ring…" "With this ring," said Anne. "I give you my heart…" "I give you my heart." "From this day forward…" "From this day forward." "You shall not walk alone…" "You shall not walk alone." "My heart will be your shelter…" "My heart will be your shelter." "And my arms will be your home." "And my arms will be your home," concluded Anne as she slipped the ring on his finger.

"Now Darrel," said Frank. "It's your turn." Darrel nodded and picked up Anne's ring from Kenji. "Repeat after me," said Frank. Darrel nodded. "With this ring…" "With this ring," said Darrel. "I give you my heart…" "I give you my heart." "From this day forward…" "From this day forward." "You shall not walk alone…" "You shall not walk alone." "My heart will be your shelter…" "My heart will be your shelter." "And my arms will be your home." "And my arms will be your home," concluded Anne as she slipped the ring on her finger.

"And now, the wedded couple will kneel to the guests." Darrel and Anne stand hand in hand and kneel in front of the guests. Jake and Amelia take two crowns of flowers connected with one another, and place the crowns on both Anne and Darrel's heads. "According to the traditional Thailand traditions, weddings were celebrated with the bride and groom presented to the guests. The couple symbolically joined by the thread is called the Sai Monkhon ritual. And now the Rod nam sang shall begin, which is the water blessing ceremony where the wedding guests use a special blessed shell and pour water over their hands. To wish the couple well and give advice on having a good life together."

The wedding guests line up and take a small seashell filled with fresh river water. The first were the parents of the bride and groom, following the bridesmaids and groomsmen. "These are the hands of your best friend," said Frank. "Young and strong and full of love for you, that are holding yours on your wedding day as you promise to love each other today and always. Love each other from this day forward, and these will be the hands that you hold tomorrow, and the next day, and into the next decade. These are the hands that will work alongside yours as you build your life together, the hands that will touch you with love and tenderness through the years, and the hands that with the slightest touch will comfort you like no others can. These are the hands that will hold you through grief, fear, and hardship. These are the hands that will wipe tears of joy and sorrow from your eyes. These are the hands that will hold your family together, and that will give you strength when you need it. These are the hands that, when wrinkled and spotted with age, will still be reaching for yours."

Darrel and Anne look at each other and smile as the guests pour the water on their hands. Nothing could ever ruin this perfect moment. As soon as the guests finish the Rod nam sang, the two stand up, standing hand in hand, looking at each other, knowing what's going to happen next. Frank closes up his speech, knowing what he's going to say next. "And now, the time has come to declare you two officially married," he announced. The families and guests smile with joy and excitement. "From this day forward," said Frank. "Your family, your friends, your communities, and the whole world will know you through life as friends, as co-adventurers, as soul -mates, as partners in marriage, and as the Loyalitats! You may kiss!"

Darrel and Anne grab each other by the face and plant an emotional kiss, sealing their fates as the Loyalitats. The guests, the families, the bridesmaids, and the groomsmen applaud in excitement. The two lead the reception to the dance floor, the bridesmaid and groomsmen throw confetti, flower petals, and string at the newlyweds. Soon, everyone gathers at the buffet table. They all grab a plateful of food and they take their seats.

After the banquet, Anne and Darrel take themselves to the dance floor. "Shall I have this dance, Mrs Loyalitat?" asked Darrel. "You may, Mr Loyalitat," replied Anne. "If you of course play our song." Anne gives Darrel a guitar and Darrel smiles. "With tremendous pleasure," he replied. He strums the guitar and Anne starts to sing.

(I see the light - Disney's Tangled)

(Anne)

All those days watching from the windows/ All those years outside looking in/ All that time never even knowing/ Just how blind I've been/ Now I'm here blinking in the starlight/ Now I'm here suddenly I see/ Standing here it's all so clear/ I'm where I'm meant to be

And at last I see the light/ And it's like the fog has lifted/ And at last I see the light/ And it's like the sky is new/ And it's warm and real and bright/ And the world has somehow shifted/ All at once everything looks different/ Now that I see you

(Darrel)

All those days chasing down a daydream/ All those years living in a blur/ All that time never truly seeing/ Things, the way they were/ Now she's here shining in the starlight/ Now she's here suddenly I know/ If she's here it's crystal clear/ I'm where I'm meant to go

(Darrel puts down his guitar and he and Anne dance in the center of the dance floor)

(Anne and Darrel)

And at last I see the light/

(Darrel)

And it's like the fog has lifted/

(Anne and Darrel)

And at last I see the light/

(Anne)

And it's like the sky is new/

(Anne and Darrel)

And it's warm and real and bright/ And the world has somehow shifted/ All at once everything is different/ Now that I see you

Now that I see you

The two face each other and kiss as the crowd cheered for their performance. "And now," said Marcy. "It is time for the bride and groom to dance with their parents." Darrel danced with his mom, while Anne danced with her dad. Both of them couldn't be any happier. "I was scared I would never get to experience this with you," said Sarah. "But here we are," said Darrel. "I'm so glad you're here mom. I'd never thought I would get married." Sarah smiled, "Yet here we are. You did all this on your own, and I have never been so proud of you as I am now."

Mr Boonchuy tried to keep a straight face as he danced with Anne. "It's okay dad, this is everything I could ever want." "I know," said Mr Boonchuy. "It's just that…" He started to whimper as he swayed back and forth with his daughter. "My little girl is all grown up. And you're - you're…" Mr Boonchuy could not hold it in anymore as he started balling his eyes out. "I'm still your little girl dad," said Anne, tearing up a bit. "I always will be." The two continued dancing to the song 'I Loved Her First,' until the music slowly stopped. The wedding guests applauded and made their way to the dance floor as well.

A few moments later, Sasha makes an announcement. "And now, it's time for the bride to pass the bouquet!" "All bridesmaids get together for the throw," said Sasha. "Bailey, you sit this one out," said Sarah. "Considering you're already married to Eddie." "I know," said Bailey.

Sasha, Marcy, Amelia, Jane, and Tyler got behind Anne and prepared for the throw. Darrel smiles at the bridesmaids, and Kenji walks up to him. "Hey Darrel, the guys made a bet on who would catch the bouquet. Wanna join in?" "Sure," said Darrel. "I already placed my bet anyway."

Anne closes her eyes, takes a deep breath, and tosses the bouquet over her head. The bridesmaids went after it like hyenas. The bouquet fell to the girls and eventually, someone caught it. It was Marcy. She squealed with delight and Darrel smiled. "Aw man," groaned Jake. "I had my bet on Sasha." "Well looks like I won," said Darrel. "We won," said Eddie. The groomsmen pay up to the winners with five dollar bills in their pockets.

Around night time, Anne and Darrel cut their wedding cake, and had photos of them sharing their first piece. The wedding guests give their wedding presents to the newly wedded couple. Most of the guests head for home while most of the family and friends stay behind to party more.

Anne spots Darrel looking up to the sky and decides to join him. Anne sighed, "It's such a beautiful night." "Yes it is," said Darrel. "And you know the best part?" "It's our friends in Amphibia, right?" Anne asked. Darrel nodded, "Everytime I look up to the stars, I know for a fact that wherever our friends are, they're looking up at the stars as well." He takes his arm and places it around Anne's shoulder. "So almost every night, I look up to those stars and try to make constellations of our friends in my head."

Anne looks up to see two blinking stars and points them to Darrel. "Darrel, do you think..?" Darrel smiled, "I think our friends are winking at us right now." The two continue to look up at the sky and start to see constellations of Sprig and Tint. "I love you Darrel Loyalitat," said Anne. "I love you too, Anne Loyalitat," replied Darrel.

Meanwhile, in the uncharted lands in the world of Amphibia. Sprig Plantar, now nearly twenty years old, wakes up from his tent and goes outside to look at the stars. Tint Tormak, now only twenty one years old, follows him soon after. The two looked up to the stars and sighed. "You thinking what I'm thinking,Tint?" Sprig asked. "Yeah," replied Tint.
