-Jazz, you are falling asleep again.- Alice calls playfully as she feels his hold loosening around her.
He hums at her words. His arms hugging her closer as he did so. A tender kiss pressing on her shoulder.
Jasper felt quite relaxed if he was being honest with himself. Without Edward's brooding self or Bella's near persistent lust he could finally take a breath of peace.
The silence of the bathroom along with the soothing scent of lavender was great. One of his favorite things in the world was when he got to sit in a bathtub with Alice against his chest.
He had given her a massage earlier which had led to Alice melting against him. She shifted on the hug just enough to rest her head on his chest. Her index finger tracing invisible doodles on his bicep.
Meanwhile.
Alice also felt quite relaxed right now.
Jasper's embrace never failed to make her feel relaxed. Like as long as he was with her nothing could ever go wrong.
She still found it surreal at times.
That she had found him. Come this far with him.
When she first saw him in that vision. So covered in blood and with such dark gaze...
Part of her had feared the meaning behind such vision. The reason behind she kept seeing such unsettling being.
But with time she had grown to see more and more of him.
And with it she had grown to see past the persistent iced glare. Past the rage and the hatred.
She had seen the pain. The loneliness. She had pitied him and had wanted nothing more but to wrap her arms around him and hide him from the world.
Her world had almost crumbled down when she got a vision of him holding a stake to his heart. The pain in his gaze. The desperation. It had been overwhelming.
But then Peter had stopped him.
And Alice had at that moment decided that she liked Peter.
For a long time she had chased Jasper around hoping to find him. But he changed his mind so much it had been near impossible to encounter him. The fact that she couldn't see him sometimes didn't help either.
And then she had seen it.
So clear.
He would go to that diner and he would steal a chair.
Wooden chair.
She had gone there earlier than he would arrive. All to make sure she was there to catch his attention.
She still remembers his wariness and while he had done great at hiding it Alice had seen him enough to know that he had been waiting for the slightest sign to kill her.
Reason she made sure to keep her demeanor as open as possible. Calm. Trusting. Naive. All so he would see no threat in her.
It had taken a long time for her to even be able to touch him. Even longer to get a kiss from him. And even longer to get intimate.
But she hadn't minded. It had been exhilarating enough to find him at all. And she had waited for him long enough. Waiting a bit more for him to be comfortable had been perfectly fine.
Being patient did paid off at the end.
Now he was all hers.
She could kiss him all she wanted. Touch him. Cuddle. She could feel his arms around her.
She looked up at him and met his gaze. Leaning in to press a kiss on his chin before giving him an eskimo kiss.
-Are you okay?- Jasper questions feeling a bit caught off guard by the sudden action, Alice just smiled at him, that smile that always gave Jasper a funny feeling in his chest.
-I was just thinking about how much I love you.- She said giving him a peck before snuggling closer, pressing a kiss on his chest and relaxing her muscles, she felt so comfortable like this.
Jasper for his side just frowned at his wife's words yet said nothing, loosening the hug and nuzzling her hair, a smile playing on his lips despite all, it always felt nice to hug Alice, it made him feel at ease for as long as she was with him she would be safe.
And he could be at peace.

-Dude, how can you be remotely fine with smelling so girly?- Emmett questioned as he watched Alice skipping down the stairs with Jasper in tow.
He smelt worse than a field of lavender. Roses. Flowers and so friggin' intense.
His words got him a look from both Esme and Rosalie.
-He likes to smell like his wife.- Alice tells. Pride oozing off of her. Jasper smirks at that.
-Indeed.
-You are so gross.- Emmett tells scrunching up his nose in mocking distaste.
-Lovin' my wife ain't gross, you know what's gross? Leavin' your door open when you're havin' sex with my sister, that's gross.- Jasper told as a statement of fact.
Emmett smirked at the reminder. Esme gave him a disapproving look.
-We are going hunting.- Alice informed pulling Jasper with her.
-Don't go far.- Esme told. She wasn't quite sure of the reason but she had been having a bad feeling lately, like something bad was going to happen.
And while she didn't want her children to leave her sight due that same reason she also knew she couldn't keep them in the house.
Because while the girls were less likely to get annoyed over staying in the house she couldn't say the same thing for her boys.
Emmett had the habit to end up breaking stuff when he was scooped up in the house for too long and had no way of releasing stamina. And Jasper... he would get in a terrible mood when he wasn't allowed to go out for too long.
She can still remember the headaches his gift had put them through during that particular time in Montana where keeping both Emmett and Jasper hidden had been top priority.
At least while Carlisle falsificated their medical records to keep the army from drafting them.
Epilepsy and schizophrenia had been good enough to keep them safe.
At least while they worked on moving.
That hadn't meant she had left them out of her sight.
Emmett's size had gained him quite the interest despite his "ailment".
And Jasper's posture had without a doubt gotten him unwanted attention too.
She sighed.
At least things had gone well.
