Author's notes: Zoro poem, written in an odd swift of inspiration. Yeah, it's gone now. I feel like perhaps Kuina was someone much more to Zoro, more than even he realizes. Maybe it was more like the admiration of soul, rather than skill. It's . . . odd, but all I manage to do is write odd poetry @.@ C&C, por favor!

++Angel Mine ++

Cuts and bruises, vows and blood
Charging spirits, through rain and mud
Strength and power, a swordsman's pride
Fragile humans, alone I cried

Promise made, my life I gave
A goal in heart, a soul to save
Challenge accepted, battle done
Alone I stood, yet you had won

Fallen angel, breathe in life
Command your sword, my treasured knife
Protect me when I am in doubt
I feel your presence, I hear you shout

Stubborn ideals, frightening skill
Big blue eyes, a glare to kill
Child-like hands, a ruthless dream
You could do it all, so it may seem

What would have been yours can now be ours
Dreams achieved on wishing stars
Clanging swords, laughing out loud
All grown up, once children proud

My single rival, my single love
My one, my all, now above
You would have soured, you would have shined
Yet, you still do, my angel mine
