Two small bare feet padded along swiftly in the green forest. Quickly stepping over tree trunks that emerged from the dirt and grass covered earth. As quickly as the owner of the feet ran; they stopped. Sunlight drifting over the violet colored cloak that was covering the person from sight. A small cry emerged from a rather small red blanket wrapped around a tiny form in what appeared to be a womans' arms. Her head lowered and adjusted the tiny form in her arms. "Shh..." she hissed between her teeth, moving a part of the blanket out of the face of a small pale face belonging to that of a baby. Its green eyes stared up at the woman; its lips curved into a smile.

The woman seemed to pause slightly for a few minutes and stare. Wrapping her arms tighter around the baby's small form she spoke softly; "Forgive me, my son. For your fate will be my fault. And it will scar me for the rest of my life, and your fathers." She paused and glanced up at the pale blue sky, "Though he will never know of you." A rustle in the bushes filled the air and the woman snapped her head in the direction it had forced itself out of. A moment later a large white wolf emerged from the forest green bushes and placed itself a few feet away from the woman and baby. Growling lowly, it sat on its two legs.

"What is it you want human?" it growled while showing its pure white fangs.

Its growl made perfect sense to her, as if it was in her own language and she slowly placed the child onto the grass and then stood. "I wish nothing more than to leave my son here." She spoke calmly, hoping the wolf understood her.

The wolf narrowed its ice blue eyes at the humnan figure, "How dare you, a creature of the gods, abandon your own cub. Your lower than we thought." Its growl seemed more harsh this time, as if it was going to bite.

"Forgive me if I show disrespect, but I cannot be a mother to this child. Forgive me and do as you please with the boy." With those last few words she broke out into a run and was gone from sight.

The wolf growled in disapprovel as it stood on all fours and made is way to the cub the low-standing woman on two legs left behind. Its ice blue eyes stared down at it intently, seeing something in the two-legged cub that it never seen in any other before. 'This two-legger should not be eaten for its mothers mistake.' thought the wolf as the small boy cub opened his green eyes and stared at the wolf with a thoughtful look on its face. And then, the boy cub did something the great white wolf didn't expect; it smiled and slowly reached for the wolf's fur with its tiny hands; as if begging for it to hold it like its mother, a true mother would have.

The wolf slowly bent down and snatched the red blanket in it's mouth, trying not to touch the boy cubs' body with its sharp fangs, growling as it looked at the handful in its mouth; "Lets go home, Bit."
