A/N: Okay, I know I said that the next one was going to be a sequel to "Trust and Kindness" and that it would be from Daisuke's POV, but I bet some of you are wondering about the fight between Daisuke and the other DD. so was I, soooo here it is.

Trust and Kindness Side Story

Argument

"Well, what is it?" Daisuke asked, looking at his friends, who had herded him into the computer lab.

"We're worried about you," Hikari started. "You've been spending a lot of time with Ken and--"

"He's a no-good stinking piece of--"

"Miyako!" Miyako reluctantly shut her mouth at Hikari's reprimand.

"He's _dangerous_ is what he is," Takeru said, crossing his arms. Hikari and Miyako voiced their agreement.

"If I need a babysitter, I'll ask Jun," Daisuke grumbled.

"Davis, we're just concerned," Hikari said. "What if he hurts you too?"

"You have a bruise on your hand," Iori pointed out. "Would you mind showing it to us?"

"It's none of your business," Daisuke replied, putting the hand in question behind his back; but Takeru would have none of it. "Let go, TM!!!" Daisuke yelled, trying to pull his arm out of the blonde DigiDestined's grip.

"Davis, that looks terrible!" Hikari exclaimed.

"Aren't those tooth marks?" Iori asked.

"Are those from _Ken_?"

"That bastard _bit_ you!!!" Miyako yelled.

"SHUT UP!!!" Daisuke finally yanked his arm out of Takeru's hand and backed away from his friends.

"Davis."

"It's really, _none of your business_," Daisuke said.

"Of course it's our business," Miyako replied. "You're our friend; we take friendship seriously."

"So do I. Ken's my friend too, and right now he needs my help."

"What he needs is a shrink," Miyako muttered.

"Miyako." Hikari warned.

"Yeah, right," Daisuke snorted. "They'd just drug him up until he can't even see straight."

"Maybe that's what's best for him," Iori said. "If you think that they'd have a good reason to, then maybe that's what he needs."

"Davis," Takeru said, condescendingly. "Ken used to be the Kaizer, we were foolish to think he had changed just like that; he struck Miyako without reason, that's proof enough--"

"Stop treating me like I'm _stupid_!" Daisuke growled. "My memory is just _fine_, thank you! Besides, I think I know a little more about what's going on with Ken than any of you do, since I'm the only one here who's actually talked to him since then; after all, you just hauled off and hit him, TP! I wonder what _that's_ proof of?" Takeru had the decency to look a little abashed. "Look, I've always tried to be there for you guys when you needed help, right? Well, right now, Ken needs my help most of all, and I'm definitely going to be there for _him_ too!"

Daisuke pushed past his startled friends and left the computer room.

Hikari dropped her forehead into one hand and sighed. "That could have gone better."
