As usual, their parents weren't there waiting for them and this time not even one of their father's employees was there. They left the station alone. Lexion was able to apparate now, so he grabbed Jade's hand and apparated a few houses away from theirs.

Jade wasn't looking forward to see her parents, she never was but this time she was actually dreading it. She got to the house a whole minute after her brother. Her mother was there but her father wasn't. He probably was working.

The next day they traveled to Greece as they had planned. During holidays her family was close to normal, as they laughed and spent time together.

Jade loved the sea and she was loving the beaches in Greece but she noticed something weird, her parents always wore long sleeves, despite the nice and warm weather. And only once her father didn't, but he had a bandage wrapped around his arm, which she found suspicious.

Jade was still affected by Cedric's death and she sometimes had nightmares. Her parents hadn't even mentioned anything about it, she would expect a complaint about how unsafe Hogwarts was but nothing.

On their sixth day there, they celebrated Raven's birthday. They went to a fancy restaurant, where they had a beautiful view of the ocean and the sunset as minutes passed. Some birds flew closed by as well.

Raven was wearing a blue long dress and her dark hair was perfectly done in a high bun. Lexion and Finley were using suits. And Jade was wearing a gold dress and had curled her hair, she was also wearing long gold earrings that completed her look.

Having Greek relatives and having lived part of his childhood in Greece, Finley could speak fluent Greek but never intended to teach his kids as he didn't want them to understand when he spoke. He usually used it for business and to speak important subjects with his family. But after all these years, Jade could understand certain things but she never told anyone. It wouldn't matter anyway, as his knowledge was too restricted to hear or understand something important.

Raven Lias was turning forty years old, and she looked amazingly good. She looked probably thirty-two or so. She still didn't have a single white hair and her skin was flawless.

People usually didn't believe Lexion was her son as she didn't look old enough to have a son his age. She was almost twenty-two when she had him. She married Finley when she was nineteen and despite wanting to wait a bit longer she got pregnant and had Lexion quite young. Finley was twenty-five when they got married and was already a very successful person by then.

For a few years they had a calm life, not wanting to make any changes but then Jade was born. Lexion and Jade only had two cousins from their father's side, one was one year older than Lexion but they never really saw him, and the other was three years older than Lex, and they had no cousins from her mother's side.

The following day they had the whole morning to enjoy the beaches but before dinner they traveled back to England.

Jade was grateful to live in such a beautiful place as Wiltshire, she had cities close by but also the countryside. So she had a calm and relaxing life. Her backyard was huge and there was even a river running through her property. She usually saw ducks and swans in it, and when it was warm enough she could swim in it.

And Draco's house was only five or ten minutes away, that's why they spent so much time together as they grew up and during the holidays. Narcissa Malfoy was in the same year as Raven in Hogwarts so they were happy and both supported their friendship.

She lived in a Magical town but only ten to fifteen minutes away was a Muggle town. She went a few times, being curious. And there were also beautiful parks nearby. She only had to be careful to not use magic.

It wasn't long after their trip that Jade started to notice weird things. People would come to their house quite often. She knew some, including Lucius Malfoy and Crabbe and Goyle but so many people visiting and so often and going straight to her father's office was strange.

One of their house-elves was braiding Jade's hair one morning when Finley called the family to go downstairs. The female house-elf finished quickly and disappeared with a pop, as Jade stood up and rushed downstairs.

They sat at this round table that they usually used for breakfast. Half of the room was made up by windows that had a clear view of their beautiful backyard.

Finley's cold blue eyes lingered on Jade, which made her quite uncomfortable. She held his gaze and then he cleared his throat and gave Lexion and Jade a piece of paper each. Their grades.

Lexion had officially graduated from Hogwarts, they were going to throw a party to celebrate the achievement. Jade had perfect grades except for Herbology and that made her not good enough in her father's eyes.

"I've got news for you, Jade."

"Yes, father?"

"You'll be the new captain of the Slytherin team," he announced with pride. "You'll need to be as good as your brother was and you also need to find two new players as Lex and Cassius won't be in the team anymore."

Jade smiled, she liked that she was made the captain. She didn't know how as she was one of the youngest in the team. But she was still honoured and happy.

"Don't disappoint me. Okay, now, we've got more serious things to discuss. I'm extremely upset that Dumbledore told everyone about You-Know-Who. He didn't have proof except Potter's word. But anyway, let me tell you, finally the Wizarding World will be great again. This is just the start. We are getting stronger, he is getting stronger?"

"We?" Jade asked confused.

"Well, Lord Voldemort and his loyal followers of course," Finley said in almost a duh tone. Jade felt like she was being stab in her heart. It was true. And he was proud of it. "He's finally back and things will start to be done right."

Jade looked at Lexion who didn't look surprised at all. He nodded at his father as if he knew what was going on and Jade couldn't help but speak.

"Did you already know about it, Lex?"

"Of course," Lexion answered.

"Why didn't you tell me before?" Jade asked her father.

"Lex is an adult and we wanted you to focus on school, and we didn't want to tell you until he was back for sure."

"Why was Diggory killed?"

"Who?"

"Father, he was the boy who was with Potter," Lexion told him. "At the graveyard."

"Oh, well. He wasn't supposed to be there. Everything was planned for Potter to win and be teleported alone. The boy just got in the way."

Jade nodded, knowing it wouldn't be okay if she kept asking. Finley kept talking about Lord Voldemort and idolized him. Jade felt sick to her stomach. He didn't even care about a boy who was as old as Lexion, being killed. Jade endured almost two hours of listening to her father, talking all kind of nonsense for her but Raven and Lexion looked quite pleased and like if they were enjoying the conversation.

After that day, she visited Draco every day. He knew about their parents being involved with Lord Voldemort. He wasn't happy but he didn't seem as affected as Jade.

Lexion's celebration was a nightmare for Jade. She knew she was surrounded by Death Eaters and possibly future Death Eaters and she wasn't okay with it. Before it started, she had to take one of those potions Madam Pomfrey made for her to calm her down.

Cassius was celebrating too and his parents were present. Jade even had to sit and talk to them. She had found out not long ago that Cassius' father was also present when Cedric died and it was hard for her to even look at him.

Things got harder in the following days as her father got more meetings and she overheard them talking about killing Muggles in the south of England. She couldn't take it. One thing was being mean and feeling superior because of your name and blood but she wasn't okay with murdering innocent people.

So without thinking she sent an owl to Ron. She even had walked out of her house that day attempting to go to Ron's house but she didn't know where he lived and she realized she had no idea how Muggle transportation worked, she didn't know his address so she couldn't fly with her broom and she couldn't use the Floo, plus her parents could check where she had gone. And she still couldn't apparate and it wasn't like she could ask her brother or even Cass to take her to the Weasley's.

Day 3 of being locked up LOL

I actually went out during the time we are allowed to go out and buy food. I walked 4km and it felt nice. I barely had time so I didn't even drink coffee. I just jumped out of bed when I saw the time and got dressed.

So, basically this chapter is the start of let's say the fifth book. Hope you enjoyed it and had some insight of what her family is like.

Curious fact: I actually was in Wiltshire for a bit and when I read Malfoy Manor was there, I was so excited as I know the area LOL and let me tell you, the swans are just beautiful! I used to sit in front of the River Avon and watch the swans and the sheep! I live in a city so seeing that was new and just amazing for me!

So, question to my readers... have you been to Wiltshire? Or those who don't know, have you been to Stonehenge?
