Jade wasn't just tired. She was jet-lagged. She got to her house at 4:00 a.m., then packed her school supplies, uniform, books and other personal stuff. Had a quick shower, had breakfast and then she went with a man she didn't know to London, he worked for her father. Her parents went straight to bed and Lexion was done with school so it was just her this time.

She got to King's Cross at 10:35 a.m., and the man vanished as soon as they were close of the platform. She was glad as he was creepy. She went inside the Hogwarts Express quickly, not caring about finding her friends or Draco, she only wanted to sleep.

She was about to fall asleep when Channel and Chantel walked in, Jade cursed in her head but managed to fake a smile as they sat in front of her. They started to talk no stop about gossip but she wasn't even sure what they were saying to her, Jade's eyes and her brain were literally shutting down.

When she opened them again, Draco, Crabbe and Goyle were there too and they were only fifteen minutes away from Hogsmeade. She felt disorientated and even more tired.

"You look like a mess," Draco told her.

"I got home at four in the morning and I hadn't slept in like forty hours, I don't even know with the time difference."

Draco, Jade, Crabbe and Goyle got into a carriage once they arrived. Draco put his his hand on top of hers, taking the chance that it was dark and they were with some idiots that wouldn't notice even if they started snogging right in front of them. Jade turned to look at him and smiled.

"I missed you, you know?"

"I missed you too."

This was the first time Jade had spent most of the summer away. One week in Greece, almost three in America and about two in Surrey with Ron. That left about two-three weeks left.

"How was America?"

"I don't know what was worse... spending a week with my future sister-in-law and her family or almost being bit by a shark."

"What?"

"Yeah, I was swimming in California and a shark appeared. Bit a woman nearby, there was a lot of blood. I read in the Muggle newspaper that she got her leg amputated. But she made it."

"How you got a Muggle newspaper?"

"I'm telling you someone lost a limb... the newspaper part isn't important!" Jade exclaimed. "But now that you mention it, it's weird, you know? The pictures don't move, I stared at them for like forever and none of them moved."

"Okay," Draco muttered not knowing what to say. He wasn't interested in Muggle things.

They got to Hogwarts and the two of them sat together, it was until then that she saw Ron and his friends and family. They hadn't seen her as their backs were facing her.

She didn't pay attention to the first years sorting, she was too sleepy and she couldn't care less but she paid attention when this new teacher that looked like a frog actually interrupted Dumbledore when he was giving the usual speech during the start of term.

"The Ministry of Magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizard of vital importance. Although each Headmaster has brought something new to this historic school," she said. "Progress for the sake of progress must be discouraged. Let us preserve what must be preserved, perfect what can be perfected and prune practices that ought to be prohibited."

"I don't like her," Jade said simply. "And she is from the Ministry of Magic, you know this is because of what happened, right?"

"So?" Chantel asked.

"Since when does the Ministry get involve with school? I'm sure they are more worried about not talking about... You-know-who and saying he's back than our education."

Soon after, the feast started, it was then when Jade realized she hadn't eaten since before 6:00 and she was starving. She had a bit of everything and then walked to the common room with Draco. She was so full she just sat on the closest couch.

Everyone went to the dormitories except them. Jade was nervous and he could feel it. He squeezed her hand and asked her what was wrong, Jade sighed knowing this wouldn't end well.

"You are like... like my boyfriend, right?" Jade started.

"Not like it, I am your boyfriend," Draco stated and Jade nodded.

"And I want to be honest with you, no secrets."

"Don't tell me you'll leave me and you are happily together with Cassius now," Draco exclaimed. "I suppose you bonded with him in America."

"No, nothing like that," Jade said looking down at the floor. "I didn't spend time with the twins as I told my parents and you. I went somewhere else."

"Where did you go?" Draco asked confused and then she took a deep breath.

"I went to Weasley's house and I stayed there," Jade told him. In that moment, Draco let go of her hand and just looked at her in disbelief, while Jade still kept looking down.

"You are kidding, right? Why would you go there?"

"I don't know what's wrong with me, okay? But Diggory's death affected me, sometimes I still have nightmares and my father doesn't care that he was just a boy and he died for no reason, he was so cold when he talked about it. And I can't get into my head how my parents can be murderers... They talked about killing innocent people. I heard them and I couldn't stand it, Draco. I had to get out of there."

"Look, it hasn't been easy but don't let it get to you. And, Jade, you could have come to my house."

"Your house is only five minutes away and no offense but the same thing is happening at your house, going there wouldn't be useful and I'm sure your mother wouldn't be so happy with me staying there at night. It's not right."

"But... why Weasley's?"

"Because he offered to help me," Jade said shrugging, tears in her eyes. "Because I needed it. I'm still me, you know? I just don't believe in killing people. Especially innocent people."

"I'm not telling you to choose a side, but Jade, what you did was so out of place. I understand that someone dying can affect you but you also have to understand that our families are involved in this mess and we might not agree but we've got to accept it."

"But I can't accept it. My uncles are in Azkaban..."

"Yeah, my aunt is in Azkaban too," Draco said quickly, interrupting her. "What are you trying to say?"

"That I don't like this, I'm not on board. I don't want to be in the same house as murderers and... what if we have to join?"

"That won't happen," Draco assured her.

"How do you know?"

"Because we are too young and once we finish school we can go away so they don't get the chance to try to convince us to join them."

"So, you don't want to join them, either?"

"No! I'm not interested in anything of the sort but if my parents are and now have to work for... him... then that's their problem not mine."

"So, it doesn't affect you? None of it? Do you like that weird people go in and out of your house every day and they only talk about doing evil stuff? Doesn't it bother you knowing that your family is actually bad? Doesn't Diggory's death cross your mind every once in a while?"

"The two of us have relatives in Azkaban, the two of us have been under the Cruciatus Curse when we did something out of place, haven't we? They care more about that damn status than seeing us happy. Look at my mother's sister... she married a Muggle and it was like she never even existed. She's been erased from pictures, the family tree, no one even dares to say her name... I think it was obvious that our families are very heartless and leaning more towards being bad than good. That's why I don't find it as shocking as you do and I know that there's nothing I can do. All I can do is not think about it and do what I've been doing all these years. Study, play Quidditch, make the Gryffindor's lives miserable... and you should too. Your brother is gone, you are finally free to do whatever you want, so take advantage of it! This year we should start thinking what we want to do with the rest of our lives so focus on that... not on your parents. Besides, you'll be away from them for months, you don't have to see them or hear them. So focus on you not them and..."

"What?"

"And if you really want out of this situation, if at some point they want to make you like them and you don't want to, then, I'll support you... we'll run away. But I'm sure we won't have to."

"You are willing to get dishonored and disinherited and lose everything for me?" Jade asked surprised. Draco nodded. "Why?"

"Because you are my best friend," Draco said simply. "Next time though, choose not to go to the Weasley's... or at least tell me the truth."

"I won't lie to you again... I was just scared that you would tell my parents, of you not understanding."

"I understand why you wanted to be away, I don't understand why go with him... but even if you went to a Muggle's house... I would never tell your parents. If you were in danger and I had to tell someone, I would tell mine first or your brother or even Cassius. Your parents would be the last option."

"Thanks, Draco."

"Now go to sleep, you need it."

Draco kissed Jade's forehead and then her lips and watched as the brunette went up the stairs to her dormitory until she was out of sight. He stayed a bit longer in the common room, thinking.

He also disagreed and disliked what his father was doing but he knew how to keep it together. He couldn't fall apart. It was a big blow when he found out and it was another big blow when he found out Voldemort was back and his father was once again in his ranks.

His father might not love him, or at least acted like he didn't even care but Draco loved both his parents and he was scared for their safety. He was also affected by Diggory's death. He was a pretty skillful person and he didn't stand a chance against a mere servant... not even Voldemort himself. Draco thought about that a lot.

And yes, he was willing to run away with Jade if she needed to escape a bad situation because as he said, she was his best friend and the love he had for her was special and unbreakable. The fact that she was his girlfriend now didn't change anything in that decision. He'd still do it if she wasn't. He just wanted her safety and well-being but even so, he couldn't understand the Wealsey part.

1 day down! Another to go! Honestly today wasn't as bad, before I knew it, it was already dark outside.

Well, they are back at Hogwarts and starting their fifth year! Who's excited for Umbridge!? haha

So, I also edit videos and for the last 2 days I've been busy doing one for 'The End of The Fucking World'... if you haven't watched it, please do! It's amazing! I've even thought of using Alyssa or James or both for a crossover in a Harry Potter world for a video! LOL

Anyway, if you want to check my video out, I'll post the link!
