During the last week of November, about a week after the meeting, Jade found the gum in her pocket and as she made her way to History of Magic she put it in her mouth and started to chew it. She noticed that people giggled as they saw her and looked at her funny.

She looked down at herself and at her clothes and saw there was nothing wrong. She felt the stares and kept hearing the giggles and felt uncomfortable.

"That colour suits you!" Channel said to her as Jade walked into the classroom.

"What are you talking about?"

"Your hair..."

Channel handed her a mirror and Jade turned white when she saw her hair was mostly bright pink with some orange 'highlights'. Jade sat down thinking of spells to help with her hair. Throughout the entire class she kept muttering spells as she pointed her wand at her hair, then checked herself in the mirror but her hair wasn't changing, not even getting less bright.

She heard the giggles and people muttering behind her back. She finally gave up during her next class and as she did she had time to think and finally realized what was going on. She grabbed the gum from her mouth, which oddly enough still had a nice flavour, and noticed it was the same two colours as her hair.

After that class, she had lunch. She put her hoodie on to hide her hair but most students had already seen her. She almost ran to the Gryffindor table where she saw the twins. At the moment she couldn't tell who was who.

"What the hell did you do to me?"

"What are you talking about?" one of them asked.

"My hair!" she half whispered half shouted, pointing at her covered hair. "That stupid gum you gave me!"

"Actually, that was me!" the other twin said while chuckling. "I think pink suits you, would you have preferred purple and blue? Or yellow and red?"

"Weasley, how do I take it off?" she said, sitting next to Fred. "I've tried every spell I know!"

"Spells won't help you," George told her with a chuckle.

"Then what?"

"You have two options," George said. "Or you let it grow and cut the pink bits, or you have to wait until we give you the counter-gum."

"I'll buy it if you give it to me now."

"Nah... we prefer to see you with pink hair than money," Fred said. "You look cute."

"Come on!"

"Patience is a virtue, Jade."

"I'm not interested in patience!" Jade exclaimed. "I want my hair back."

"See? Got to work on that, Jade!" George said with a chuckle.

"I don't want to work on that!" she exclaimed, glaring at George.

"Just pretend it doesn't bother you and people will stop laughing. I don't even know why they are laughing, it looks good," Fred said as he saw some Ravenclaws eyeing Jade and chuckling slightly. "And you've got no choice, so you better embrace change."

"Alright..." Jade muttered defeated, knowing she wasn't going to convince the twins. "But you'll eventually give it to me, right?"

"Eventually," George said nodding.

Jade was furious but after her useless conversation with the twins, she tried to pretend she was cool with her new look and whenever she was asked, she said she was experimenting and didn't tell them it was a prank. But some people who had had the same luck knew the Weasley Twins had tricked her somehow.

The following day she braided her hair to attempt to make it look better, it was the first time Jade had taken more than an hour getting ready. If she didn't have to go to her first class, which was with Umbridge, she would have kept trying hair do's.

Umbridge did question her but Jade simply said she didn't expect her hair to be that bright and the colour to last that long, it was just a potion gone wrong. Umbridge told her the Ministry didn't allow such looks and to get her hair back to normal by the end of the day.

Jade glared at her and even considered keeping that look for longer, even if the twins gave her the gum. She knew she'd be in trouble but she hated her so much that she'd do anything to annoy Umbridge.

She was with Channel and Chantel as she made her way to Charms. She saw Draco in a hallway being mean to Ron, and making fun of him for his lousy performance during the match and during practice. He was also making fun and enjoying the fact that Potter was banned for life.

Jade and Draco still weren't talking and it didn't help that Jade had suspended him from ten trainings for what he did. The tenth and last was that coming Monday.

"There can be teachers around!" Jade exclaimed and stopped in her tracks as she saw Ron, Potter and Draco getting their wands out.

"It's none of your business, Jade!" Draco said coldly at her. "Keep out of it!"

"Come on, let's go to class. Don't do anything stupid."

"Or what?" Draco exclaimed, turning his body slightly to face her but kept taking looks at the Gryffindors frequently just in case. "Are you going to suspend me from more trainings? From the next match?" At that Ron and Potter were shocked as they didn't know what Jade had done.

"You know what Umbridge did to me, you don't want want to get in trouble with her," Jade almost pleaded, as she approached him. "Just leave it, Draco."

"Stop defending your boyfriend!" Draco exclaimed, confirming what Blaise told her.

In a way, Jade wanted to retort saying she was but she didn't know if Draco was still her boyfriend or not. After not talking for almost the whole month, Jade really doubted they were still together but it wasn't like one of them broke up with the other.

"I wouldn't be here if I didn't care about you..." Jade started.

"Don't lie. It's obvious you care only about him! Get out of the way, Jade."

Draco slightly pushed her so he could continue his stupid argument with the two Gryffindors. Neither of them liked that a guy was pushing a girl, and Jade didn't like it either.

"Didn't your father teach you how to treat girls, Malfoy?" Potter asked him. "Or he doesn't know either?"

The three of them started to insult each other again. And then before anyone could do anything, they all had their wands ready. Ron shot a spell at Draco, and Draco at Ron, but none of them hit their target.

In fact, everything happened so fast that no one knew what really happened or how, they just knew that Jade was on the floor, unconscious. Ron was aghast and didn't know what to do. Draco's eyes widened but he was the only one that reacted, he knelt and shook her body as he repeated her name over and over again but she wasn't opening her eyes.

"Oh my God!" Channel exclaimed, covering her mouth. Within two hours or so the whole school would know what happened because the two biggest gossipers had witnessed the whole thing.

"Come on, Jade, wake up!" Draco exclaimed loudly. "This isn't funny! Wake up!"

But Jade wasn't waking up. Without muttering a word and just agreeing in silent, Draco grabbed her from her arms and Potter from her legs while Ron was shaking and was still shocked.

Jade was heavier than she looked, probably because she was an athlete. She was slender, she at times even looked a bit fragile, but Potter could tell she definetely wasn't fragile.

When they got to the Hospital Wing, they laid her on a bed while Madam Pomfrey asked them what happened. None of them answered, they didn't know what to say, how to explain it.

"She was hit by two spells at once," Chantel, who had followed them, told her. She needed more gossip.

"How did this even happen?" she asked horrified. The three of them shrugged. "What spells was she hit with?"

Draco didn't even remember what spell he had used and Ron, who wasn't there, probably wouldn't be able to even talk. He was a complete mess.

Chantel eventually left but Potter and Draco stayed for bit, watched Madam Pomfrey giving Jade some potions and checking her. Then she ordered Potter to go to his next class and Draco to call Snape.

Draco looked sadly that night at the Slytherin table. Jade wasn't there. He kept looking at the entrance but the brunette, now with pink hair, never showed up. He sort of hoped she would.

Before dinner was over, Draco, who had barely touched his food, stood up and left the Great Hall. He went to the Hospital Wing and was told by Madam Pomfrey that Jade was still unconscious, she hadn't woken up, so, the only thing they could do was wait.

"Can I stay here?" Draco asked as he looked at Jade. It seemed like she was just sleeping.

"That's against the rules, Mr. Malfoy," she said sternly. "But you can stay until nine."

"I'm a prefect," he told her. "I don't need to be in my common room by nine."

"Ten then," she told him. "But then I need you to go."

Draco was so concerned and shaken up that he didn't argue further. He got a chair and placed it in front of Jade's bed. He sat on it and grabbed her left hand, which was icy cold.

"I'm sorry, okay?" he whispered when he made sure Madam Pomfrey wasn't close enough to hear him. "I'll apologize to Potter and Weasley if you wake up, please, Jade! I was a fool! I'm sorry."

Draco gulped and looked down at their hands. He didn't want to cry, he wanted to keep that hope. It hadn't been long so he couldn't be crying yet. She'd be alright.

"I never meant to hurt you."

Draco looked up again at her and with a shaking hand, pushed some of her pink hair behind her ear. Draco wasn't sure why she had pink hair and he wanted to ask her but they weren't talking so he couldn't. And he couldn't tell her she actually looked really pretty, which she did. Her skin colour and eyes made it all fit and work somehow.

"Just wake up, please."

Well, we needed something dramatic, didn't we? :P

Tell me what you think of this messy accident and Jade and Draco's behaviour. And of course the pink hair.

So, I'm confined to my house today. I live in a country with ignorant people that think that if people don't go out on Sundays then this damn virus won't infect more people, so yes, I can't even go for a walk or buy food or anything.

By the way, I was going to take advantage of that and make a video of Merlin & Morgana because I just finished watching the show and I thought they look good together but guess what... the clips don't work with my program and I can't download another program to convert the files because of some stupid crap. And when I found like an alternative, it did convert the the files but without audio, so that's not going to work! I love voiceovers too much! And that's my problem right now! Hope to get it fixed soon!

The idea is going around in circles in my head and won't go away until I do it :/ So tell me, have you watched Merlin? Do you like it? Do you ship Merlin and Morgana? Because I do LOL
