It was the next Monday when The Quibbler came on the daily mail. With trembling hands, Jade grabbed one copy, which Draco found odd as Jade never read the Daily Prophet or magazines.

Jade got paler and paler as she read it. Potter had given horrible and explicit details as to what had happened that night almost a year ago, even mentioned how he ended up in the tournament in the first place and named the Death Eaters that were present that night. The first name was Barty Crouch Jr.

It was then when Potter didn't get one letter, or five, he got at least twenty. Everyone was looking at him as letters kept coming and he and his friends started to read them. This didn't go unnoticed by Umbridge who walked straight towards him. Jade almost laughed as Potter actually threw a copy of the Quibbler to her.

It wasn't even noon yet when signs appeared everywhere, not just on the notice board but even inside the classrooms. A new decree had been created, the twenty-seventh, saying that anyone with a copy of the Quibbler would be expelled.

"How dare he?" Draco exclaimed back in the common room. "Calling my father a Death Eater! That's outrageous!"

Jade said nothing, she just went to bed. She really didn't have anything to say to Draco. His father was indeed a Death Eater so she couldn't support him even if she wanted to.

"Do you think Finley is the name or the last name?" Jade heard someone say during Care of Magical Creatures the following day. "I know someone with that last name."

"I don't know, names and last names were mentioned except for this guy..." another one said.

"There was a Slytherin Quidditch captain many years ago named like that," a guy said. "I can't remember his last name... it started with an N or L or..."

"How can you not remember? His daughter is in our class." Jade's heart skipped a beat. "Jade Lias... Finley Lias."

Well, it didn't take long for them to know Potter meant her father in the article. Jade tried to pretend she didn't hear anything but her body was tense and she had stopped doing her class work. She couldn't concentrate anymore.

"Hey, Lias," someone said to her. But she ignored the person.

Ever since Hagrid and Trelawney were in probation, Umbridge had been present for all their classes, including this one. And those Hufflepuffs knew they would be expelled if she knew they had read the Quibbler, so Jade thought it was very stupid of them to be talking about it, or trying to talk to Jade about it, when Umbridge was too close to them.

Jade was quite nervous when she went to the next D.A. meeting, what if they started attacking her with question of her parents? What if they had also realized Finley was her father?

"Okay, everyone, we'll be learning to do the Patronus Charm tonight," Potter said quickly so people wouldn't have time to ask questions. Jade felt even worse than when she walked in.

Instead of attempting to do the spell after Potter showed everyone how, Jade walked around the room to supervise how the others were doing it. Many, if not all, were having a hard time.

Since the Death Eaters had escaped from Azkaban, Neville had improved immensely. Usually he was one of the first people to master a spell. Everyone was proud of him as he used to be the worse of the group.

An hour passed quickly, as usual, Ron, Potter and Jade were the last one to leave the Room Of Requirements.

"Good interview," Jade told Potter. "That was brave."

"It was about time to tell the whole truth, right?" Potter said with a shrug.

"I guess."

"Why didn't you try to do spell even once, Lias?" Potter asked. Jade froze.

"Of course I tried..." Jade said with a smile, but Potter and Ron just gave her a look. "Well, because I'm too good at it," she added cockily.

"Jade," Ron said, he had also noticed she hadn't done the spell.

"If you really want to know..." she started and both guys nodded. "Well, I know how to do it, the flicker of the hand, the way you say it, everything... but I simply can't do it."

"What do you mean?" Ron asked.

"I try thinking of happy memories but guess what? Not even my happiest memory is happy enough."

The two boys immediately felt bad for her. Jade looked uncomfortable as the truth left her lips. She had tried the spell before but nothing had happened and she wasn't going to try it in front of everyone and fail miserably.

"It took me a long time to find the right memory... and it was hard to let that happiness sink in," Potter told her. "There must be something... anything."

"One of my happiest moments was when I got into the Quidditch team and then when I was made Captain but it was more pride than happiness... and it also had a lot of responsibility and pressure. I needed to step up so no one could say anything negative about me."

Jade had also thought about the time when she and Draco confessed their feelings and had their first kiss, during that time she almost managed to get some light out of her wand, she could feel it but there were also worries about Cassius and her parents. Even her happiest moments, which had been few, had been plagued with worries and pressure.

"What about... a trip to a place you've always wanted to go?"

"Not good enough."

"When you spent time at my house?" Ron said.

"I was worried the whole time and I felt out of place at first," Jade admitted. "Look, it doesn't matter, nothing is good enough. Believe me I've tried and nothing works."

"We can practice," Potter offered.

"It's okay, besides now more than ever I'd fail," Jade said. "I'm not blaming you but it's just a matter of time before people know my parents are Death Eaters. I'm concerned about other stuff and our O.W.L.s and..."

"What?"

"Nothing," Jade said quickly.

Jade waved at them and left before she could talk more than she wanted. She didn't want to tell them about her other concerns. Some because she wasn't sure how they would take it and some others because she would look as a mad person.

Jade was lost in thought doing her potion, Draco was next to her, looking a bit angry, he and some other Slytherins were since their fathers were named in the Quibbler as Death Eaters. Pansy Parkinson had also asked loudly in front of every Slytherin why Jade's parents were the only people there that weren't named. That caused some doubts and mistrust. They knew Raven Lias had been there but nothing was mentioned about her. So now, Jade not only had to worry about other students but her own Slytherin friends.

Jade had her head rested against her hands, not even trying to pretend she was doing something in class when suddenly, Jade saw a good-looking woman with red hair that reached past her shoulders. She couldn't see much more as the image was blurry. Then she felt as if she was being pulled out and soon the image disappeared.

She looked around and saw Professor Snape eyeing around the class with something in his eyes... like fear. Jade soon looked away before he could see her looking at him and finally started working on her potion.

That was the third time she had seen weird things that weren't really there but this was the first time it had felt like if it had been actually stopped, because normally she wouldn't be able to shake the image out, would just disappear on its own.

Later that day, Jade was in the library doing some homework. She was with Channel and Chantel, who were more worried about how their nails looked than their actual homework.

"Maybe if I do a horrible job and make us lose, Jade won't be the Captain anymore."

She turned around and saw Miles doing his homework, he was completely alone but she was sure she had heard his voice. He was concentrated in his homework so he didn't even notice she was watching him.

"Did you hear anyone talking?" she asked the twins.

"No," Channel said. "No one talks loud enough in here, you know?"

"Yeah," Jade whispered.

The following day Jade felt uneasy and Draco noticed. They were on their way to Transfigurations. Crabbe and Goyle were some steps behind them.

"Are you okay?" Draco asked her.

"How can I take someone off the team without any explanation?" Jade asked, not looking at him.

"Well, you are the captain..."

"What if the person appeals and Snape allows him to get back in?"

"What's going on, Jade?"

"Miles will make us lose on purpose against Ravenclaw. He will allow the chasers to score as many goals as possible, just so we can lose badly, too badly that I stop being the Captain."

"What? That's crazy!" Draco exclaimed but the look on Jade's face told him it was true. "Wait... how do you even know this?"

"I heard it," she said with a shrug. "The match is in about two weeks... I can't allow this and I need a new keeper!"

"I'll find you one!"

"What do we do with Miles?"

"We'll think of something."

But it didn't take long for Jade to think of something. She saw the Weasley twins during dinner and she smiled knowing they were their answer.

"I need something to make someone really ill for a few hours at least, so ill that they can't play Quidditch," Jade said to the twins the following day.

"We might be of help, Lias. But how do we know you won't use that against us?"

"Because three of your players are just replacements, Ron still hasn't played well and Johnson is too stressed about all of it that she can't concentrate well enough. Losing against Hufflepuff was really not good," Jade told them. "I'll pay you double if you can help me."

"We might have something. Gives fever and the person will throw up for at least two hours straight," Fred told her.

"Possibly get diarrhea at the same time," George added.

"But you have to tell us who will be your victim," Fred told her.

"Can I get that in less than a week?" Jade asked.

"You can get it by tonight, so who is it?" Fred asked again.

"Miles Bletchley," she whispered. Both twins laughed.

"You want us to believe you'll use it against someone from your own team?" George asked with raised eyebrows.

"Well, it's the truth."

Jade pulled them both towards a corner and in between whispers, she told them what Miles was planning to do. She shook both their hands to seal the deal and they offered to give her the little pill during the next D.A. meeting so it would be less suspicious. George explained how she could give it to him without him suspecting anything.

Jade smiled and thanked them, she only hoped that Draco could find someone good enough in two weeks.

Hello guys!

Hope you liked the chapter, and that it wasn't confusing.

I finished another video. This one is about DARK. So, if you haven't watched the show I'm warning you that it contains lots of spoilers from all 3 seasons. But if you don't care or already watched the show, you are welcome to watch it. The show is in German but I added English subtitles, so that's arranged :)

Question:

If Jade manages to do a patronus, what do you think it will be its form? I already have an idea but I was just wondering what you guys think.
